As Greece and its pile of history attracts me and the country was listed in my bucket list to visit, I decided to travel around Greece during my big travel across Eurasia for 8 months. I consulted Akylina about the trip plan and after all she gave me unforgettable precious experience. First of all, I would not be satisfied with normal “tour” or “sight-seeing” things, for I have had enough of them already and I am rather interested in local people ‘s life and custom. She took time to think for a while and kindly let me join a traditional wedding ceremony in Thessaloniki. It was just amazing. I faced family’s tear of love, traditional Christianity, alive dance, and generous smile of everyone toward me as a foreign traveler.
I did not feel any wall between Greek people and myself. Now I guess that is lead by Greek hospitality. They don’t hesitate welcoming a stranger to their circle and share their joy, help and wisdom. You will surely feel the same like me in Greece traditional atmosphere.

Have you ever tasted this? Its baby tomatoes with garlic, cream cheese, olive oil, basil and balsamic vinegar! Of course we cook them in a traditional rock oven so they can have the aroma of the wood burned! <3
