How i lost 15lbs

There's no number on skinny, but there's def a number for being fat

So i stopped counting numbers on the scale a while ago and if you really wanna thin yourself out that's how you do it. I lost 15 pounds in the last few months and figured out at the doctors office i am now at 87lbs (im hella short tho, almost 5 ft). Instead of telling myself "only five more pounds" the goal was just to get as thin as i could and ever doctors checkup is kinda just my weight check. Each year i just keep getting thinner. I think abt that number until my next appt. Instead of putting a number on thin i put a number on fat because you can really never be small enough💖

It’s finally happened.

After almost a decade on this site, I found another Tumblr user in the wild. I stopped to tie my shoe with rainbow laces this morning outside the silversmith at Colonial Williamsburg, and I heard it.

“I like your shoelaces.”

Oh. Oh no.

I responded the only way I could. “Thanks.” And then I reluctantly added, “I stole them from the president…and if that makes sense to you, I’m very sorry.”

The poor man, in full Colonial dress, stared at me for a long moment. And then burst into laughter. And said, “I haven’t thought about that in YEARS and this has never happened to me before.”

Yeah. Me neither. Not until today.
