Following the logic of RooT, where Aja got Steve pregnant, do you think it would follow the same pattern with Krel? As in would he impregnate the human partner, regardless of their gender? Or would he get pregnant, as he (presumably) identifies as male, like Steve did? Would he be able to get pregnant off a female human? I just wondered about your thoughts on this.
I think it should be whatever is the most silly option that fulfills your hearts desires. Pretty much very little about the canon of the show matters in my worldbuilding so the way I would do it is that wouldn't actually happen whatsoever.
So if trying to be canon compliant I just go with gut and pick the option that's way funnier.

How do they reproduce? Do they simply build a core using hardware and software or do they combine male and female energy to make a core?
Heya! I just made a post about this here! In my headcanons there are no actual strict ‘genders’ for akiridions and literally no such thing as ‘male’ or ‘female’ energy. Akiridions have no true sex! Gender is entirely dependent on their own self identification, job, or any other number of factors and includes genders that would be entirely foreign to humans. None of which play a role in how they reproduce. Also they often change throughout the lifetime of an akiridion, gender is extremely fluid in akiridion culture.

How do Akiridions reproduce? (Do they reproduce?)
This is a great question. Akiridions reproduce, but not in a way you’d probably expect. First of all, akiridions do not reproduce sexually. In fact, they don’t even truly require more than one of them to reproduce!
Reproduction in akiridions is completely asexual, and is done through the agitation of donor coreslick. Usually a bond will have all members contribute, which means many noble akiridions have parentage that is three or more akiridions contributing to their makeup. There is technically no limit to the number of ‘parents’ an akiridion could have, if you have samples of coreslick you can contribute those to a new akiridion.
Usually when one or more akiridions decide they wish to have a child, they will take samples of their own coreslick and have them placed into a vustal. Then the parent or parents will either shake the vustal by hand, or agitate it with a machine. Donation is something that can be done at home, as there are many ways an individual can give a sample of their coreslick. Things we would confuse for tears, saliva, blood, or other ‘bodily’ fluids can all be used for coreslick donation.
Through repeated agitation, the coreslick will eventually start to form small crystals. During this stage often the coreslick will be sifted through for any unsuitable looking particles. By about one parson the crystals forming in the coreslick mixture will begin to latch onto each other and crystallize further.
The forming core is generally considered a nodulate by two parsons, and has developed some of it’s own proto-coreslick within a thin membrane. Development from there would follow the growth chart that was previously discussed here.

Dr. Khunbish, is there a part of Akiridion physiology you find particularly interesting?
Hi Anon! Thank you for your question!
Akiridians in general are very fascinating to me, because physically they are wildly different from anything that we know on Earth. @akiridion-prime has done some fantastic posts on the physiology of Akiridians and their cores, which I highly recommend. (Core Anatomy 1)(Core Anatomy 2)(Akiridian Markings) Their fabrications (the physical body projected out of the core) are of particular interest to me, however, because this is where some of the biggest differences between individuals come into play, and cultural trends show up.
I have another ask which is about the cultural differences between Prime and the moons so I won’t go too in depth about that here, but here are some of the linked cultural-physiological aspects I find most interesting.
Akiridians have a huge amount of control over how their fabrications appear, something that organic life-beings can only achieve through things like extensive plastic surgery (or in the case of changelings like myself, magic.) The only real limit for Akiridian fabrications is how many diations surround the core, which limits the size that an individual can project their body to. Because of this, it’s fairly easy to track the cultural influences of other societies by looking at Akiridians from different age groups and locations, as Akiridians have a tendency to “borrow” physical traits from other species.
Cores are necessary for an Akiridian to be alive, and while they are quite strong they can also be prone to damage. One of Lord Joro’s specialties here at the Valtres is core damage, and I’ve seen a lot of really fascinating (and frankly horrifying) fabrications projected out from damaged cores. Seeing such things makes me feel shocked and nervous when I think about Akiridians who willingly mutilate their cores to achieve different effects for their fabrications, including Bonding.
The monochromatic hues and general symmetry of Akiridian fabrications is both aesthetically lovely and completely maddening. Akiridians perceive shape, color, smell, and texture in dimensions that are imperceptible to human (or troll) eyes, and what is left on our visible color spectrum is so muted that it’s bizarre to think that Akiridians are actually quite diverse!
Almost every Akiridian that studies in the Prime Valtres Center has darker fingertips! Dexiethans and other specialists that work directly with cores need a tremendous amount of control for the precision work that they do, and so they focus a lot of their diations into the tips of their fingers for greater control as well as sensation. The tightly packed diations are very dense, which makes the darker color.
Thanks again for the ask! If there’s anything you want clarified, feel free to drop in again!

Hello world!!
Left to Right: Dr. Khunbish (nufact from Earth,) Prince Dahc Velphret of Akiridion-3, Lord Yanit Arken of Akiridion-5
Dr. Khunbish here! I’m an Earthling living on Akiridion Prime, studying under Lord High Doctor Urale Joro as his nufact. The focus of my research is understanding the culture of the Akiridion Empire, and developing a framework of compassion and peace as their influence spreads across the galaxy. If you have any questions about Akiridion that you want explained without their condescending and untranslatable terminology in the way, please ask away!

Akiridion Plantlife
Akiridion plantlife tends to vary quite a bit, but is vastly made up of things such as fungus. Parasitic fungi are extremely common. Most plantlife across the moons has been transported and terraformed more like Prime, native plantlife to the moons is rather scarce these delsons.

Akiridion Prime: Landscape
The landscape of Akiridion Prime to humans would seem rather empty or plain. There are no forests, little liquid water, and plants are entirely different than what would be recognizable by earthlings.
Instead it’s mountainous throughout most of it’s land, with basins and plains across the other parts. There’s more volcanic activity near the northern pole of the planet, actually making it some of the warmest parts of Prime.
Notable Locations on Prime
Corineth Shield: A section of the planet that is located near it’s equator. It’s notable for being where Taeoric is located. Often noted for it’s diversity in residents, it’s one of the more culturally hospitable regions to those not native to Prime. It’s got many basins, often with small cities within them.
Oflia Plir: This region is noted for it’s extreme volcanic activity and heat, making it nearly inhospitable to even Akiridions. It’s one of the few regions of the planet with active seismic activity. Dense mountains constantly rumble as they are unsettled by the seismic and geothermal activity.
Kendaac Plains: A region of plains in the southeastern hemisphere, south of the equator and the Corineth Shield. Along it’s northern portion is the capitol city of Avli, where the emperor resides. Now most of the plains are overtaken with Avli’s sprawling cities and subdivisions, although there are still some parts in the most southern parts that are covered in it’s traditional plant-life. Most of which consists of fungus.
Fiaqi Cave System: A large and complex underground cave system, partially created through mining. It stretches under a vast portion of the planet itself, and has even smaller regions within it.
Notable cities on Prime
Avli: Capitol city of the Empire itself. Home of the emperor and massive. Avli is actually many smaller cities that have sprawled into themselves, centered around the palace. One could practically classify it as it’s own small country.
Taeoric: Home of the oldest dyinent on any planet, the Shahaer Dyinent. It’s a varied population, spread out in rings around the dyinent itself. Largely populated by Taylon, and is one of the largest mostly taylon cities. It fills up one of the larger basins in the Corineth Shield.
Elao: Was once situated on top of a rich mineral vein, and as it dug the city also built itself further and further down. It now is known for how it is built alongside the sides and in the bottom of what could be classified as a giant pit.
Giot: One of the main interstellar hubs. Shuttles to the moons are constantly coming in and out of Giot, as well as to other large cities across Prime.
Slauhl: The most northern city on Prime, resting on the edge of the Oflia Plir.

Akiridion Anatomy Part Two: The Energy Circulatory System
Anatomy Posts: [Part One] || [Part Two]
What is coreslick?
Coreslick is the liquid energy that flows through the fabrication of an akiridion. It shuttles vital energy to the body, while lubricating the fabricated muscles, joints, and bones to keep their body moving properly. It’s how the core will drain off it’s excess energy to prevent burning out and damaging itself.
More information under the cut.
Figure 1 is an illustration of generally how the veins will end up winding through the fabrication of an akiridion. Coreslick moves at a rather slow pace for the most part, diffusing throughout the fabricated flesh as it goes. Their veins are all rather large, with no real need for capillaries due to the structure of their bodies. Severing a vein is unlikely to kill an akiridion, and their coreslick generally doesn’t have enough pressure to cause spurting wounds. Ironically the head ends up having the least amount of veins for the most part, as there’s not as many muscles or moving parts there beyond what lay in the neck and face.
Figure 2 shows a diagram of a vein that carries coreslick around the body. They are two chambered, allowing both flow to and from the body parts.
The visumor is the outer layer of the vein that is a gel-like covering from which the coreslick is absorbed by the fabricated body.
Intravessel pores are what allow the energy to flow out into the visumor, these pores are able to open and close to keep flow going at a steady pace.
The dextropars and the sinistropars are the two portions of the vein that are separated by a wall. The dextropars flows outwardly, while the sinistropars flows back towards the core for redistribution.
Figure 3 has a general makeup of coreslick. Coreslick is a fluid that is found throughout the entire body of an akiridion. All bodily fluids are actually coreslick, often with different concentrations of energy. It’s the equivalent to tears, blood, saliva, and just about any other bodily fluid you can think of. It’s all purpose, as well as distributing the energy it serves many, many other functions. It also is known to glow, depending on where it came from and the purpose it serves. The color also varies in it’s density according to the amount of energy in it.
Figure 4 is a cross section of what akiridion fabricated flesh generally will look like. The muscle structures of akiridions are actually more dense than those of biological creatures, with less actual veins supplying energy. Coreslick helps lubricate the movements. Some have more deposits of gel-like coreslick around their musculature, giving them softer appearances. For the most part due to the denseness of fabrications, akiridions often weigh much more than they look like they would. Everything is held inside with the membrane that is developed early in life. It’s extremely flexible and stretchy, which means it also can generally handle quite a bit of abuse before breaking.
Veins: These wind around the muscle groups, rather than through them.
Subcutaneous Coreslick Layer: Generally leftover coreslick will gather in certain parts of the body to remain as a space between the membrane and the muscle fibers.
Dense Crystallized Bone Structures: The internal framework. They are not quite the same as the bones of many other animals, often lacking what other skeletal structures would deem essential. Musculature often makes up the lack of those bones.
Skin-like Membrane: The way everything is held together. It’s flexible, stretchy, and heals very quickly if pierced.
Fabricated Muscle Tissue: The vast majority of a fabricated body is made up of this. Akiridions are poor at understanding the actual needed amount and cores will often overcompensate by creating extremely dense and overabundant muscle tissue. It may not be visible at first glance because often it is deep and internal.

Akiridion Sleep Cycles
What is sleep like for akiridions? Well, for akiridions it’s a time when the core is able to rest and regenerate. It helps with fabrication stability and is extremely necessary for healthy core growth. The standard day for akiridions is 36 horvaths, and is the Prime standard day. Daylight horvaths may vary on other colonies or on the moons, but most are required to function on the Prime standard to keep in sync with the rest of the empire.
Sleep for most akiridions is broken into two longer blocks, with smaller periods of rest between. The first rest block generally takes place in early morning before any required work periods. It varies between 9-10 horvaths, with younger akiridions requiring longer. The second major block is in the afternoon, during which many businesses and other facilities will be shut down for 5-6 horvaths so they can rest. On average, most will akiridions get about 16 horvaths of full sleep, with periods of sub-sleep inbetween.
For akiridions there are two levels of sleep as well, sub-sleep is a short period of rest where the fabrication of an akiridion does not pause most of it’s functions. It’s not as restorative as a deep level of sleep, but helps temporarily increase functionality through the day. Most places will have areas for workers to have short periods of rest.
Taylon are mostly trained to ignore sleep needs, although they also in theory should have similar amounts of sleep.
Most akiridions would struggle to adjust to a human-style sleep schedule, as their internal clocks do not at all match with the amount of time in a day nor required sleep levels.

Seeing lots of new followers! I feel I should really make this clear off the bat. This blog is for one person to write up how they view this world, and their ideas on how it works. Nothing here is explicitly canon and in fact written for fun. Don’t ever worry if your headcanons don’t match these, because these are Not Canon, as much as any other headcanon.
Have fun, be free, use this for inspiration or don’t! Do what makes you happy. There is no right or wrong answer when you’re doing things for yourself.
#Also these headcanons and worldbuilding will not always be canon compliant!#This is my city now >:V
