“I-“ She blush and steps back “What?” She question. “Yeah you and Sabo both hang out with Koala right? You two must like her! I didn’t know you swing that way?” Ace nudge her. Moving away [Name] sighs. “No that’s not…..ugh even if we did we aren’t really friends why do you care?” Ace tilt his head. “We aren’t friends? But we hang out all the time?”

[Name] thinks back. Yeah she did hang out with him but it’s always during groups with the girls and the guys. The last time they “hang out” was when her, Nami, and vivi went to karaoke and saw him and his friend Marco. She sighs. “Sorry what I meant to said was we aren’t close like that” She says as she walks off. Ace follows. “Well we talked over soda when you cried.” He adds as they walk down the stairs.

“Is Soda that good to you, you use it as a way to make friends?” She tease walking down another flight of stairs going outside to sit down on one of the benches. “Well no but- I think a gift of food or drinks is a nice way to make friends” He smirks sitting down next to her. “Now that we are friends- wanna tell me everything?” He nudges her again.

“Listen if you’re just here for the drama-“ [Name] speaks “I’m not here cause of that. I literally just said you’re a friend and if this things got you crying like earlier. You probably need an ear” He cuts her off. She flinches a bit looking up at him. They stare in each other eyes for a while gauging the other. Sighing once more [Name] stands up going to the vending machine. Getting two sodas pop before walking back to Ace. Throwing him a can.

“I like your brother Sabo” She admits sitting back. Ace blinks almost choking on his drink. “You like Sabo?” He question almost disgust. “Yeah- WHY DO YOU LOOK SO BEWILDERED?” “NO ITS JUST…Sabo a great guy really but…I never thought he could attract women?” “Saying that about your brother is crazy.” She holds in her laugh before going back to what she was saying. “I like him for what? 3 months now since we came back to school? I um never told him that because I guess I’m just nervous. Then today I found out my friend Koala like Sabo-“

“Koala like Sabo?” Ace give her a deadpan look. “She told you that?” [Name] blush “No she- there are rumors and” “so you’re believing rumors then asking your own friend?” He huff and drink his soda. Cursing [Name] stands up. “It’s not only that! Everyone I talk about him to her she blushes and shift! Koala isn’t the type to tell a person if she has romantic feelings!”

Panting they both look at each. Ace tilt his head thinking. “Listen I think it’s perfect fine if you both like my brother even if I think Koala dosent like him” Groaning [Name] sits back down. “I just- I just don’t know what to do. I don’t want to ask her cause if she does like him she’ll probably lie to me saying she doesn’t! And if she dosent I would just she’s lying!”

Ace rolls his eyes. He stand up throwing away his finished soda. “My advice is” he takes out his wallet handing her a dollar “Is to probably talk to her” He smiles. “You two seem close, I would hate to see you two come apart” He walks back into the building. [Name] stands there confused. She looks back at the dollar in her hand then back up again.

Studying back at her place, [Name] looks down at the guide she made for herself. “I hate that we’re are getting assessments test this early in the year” she groans to herself. About to go back to studying her phones ring. The GC maybe? She thinks to herself We did make an all girls GC maybe it one of them. Picking up her phone she says it was actually Koala calling. She smiles and pick up the phone. “Ah Koala! What’s up?” The phone lines go quiet for a moment. “H-hello? Are you there” “Why did you leave early without me yesterday?” She asked bluntly. “W-What?” “After Ace went to speak to you after you turn down Sabo you came back to grab your things and left just like that! You didn’t even text or called me! Did something happen? Did he piss you off? Did I-“

“S-slow down!” [Name] cuts her off placing a hand on head. Shit I totally forgot about what happened yesterday! Now thinking back on it after [Name] came back to the classroom she did just walk out without a word. But she did that because she wanted to get her mind off of things “Nothing happened I just needed to be alone for all the upcoming test we are going to take! They are happening in what 3-4 weeks! The one we took yesterday was just the practice test and even Robin had some problems with it” She forces a laugh. The line goes quiet again.

“Why did you turn down Sabo?” The question threw her off guard. [Name] stays quiet. “Y-You two are dating?” Nami asked as [Name] and Ace as they stand at the back of the classroom. Ace smiles and take her hand “Yep…we started dating what two weeks ago babe?” He look to [Name]. She smile as week nodding “Yeah we just started going out…babe” she drags the word at her mouth.

“Pet names already?” Sabo ask from his seat “didn’t know you we such a sap” He tease before a sudden bump form on his head- “ow don’t hit me” Sabo laugh and he push his brother Ace away.

The rest of the girl in the class go to [Name] “Still how did he mange to pull you!” Nami whisper “not to be rude or whatever but you’re amazing and he-“ She look back to see him and Sabo mid arm wrestle. “Luffy but older…kinda mature but still!” [Name] just laughs. “Yeah but he managed to…catch my heart.” She grits her teeth holding her bag. Koala sitting next to Sabo as she her the conversation over. Playing with her pen. Biting her lip from chiming in.

Koala and [Name] sit on the bleachers with the rest of the girls as they watch the boy do the track test. [Name] eyes lands on Sabo. That sweet…handsome face… She chuckle to herself as she watches. “Sabo…kinda hot right?” She turn to Kola who is also watching him. Glancing at her she nods “Y-Yeah he look sweaty” Koala blushes a bit shrugging her shoulders. “Thats not what I mean Koala” she laugh taking Kola hands. “I’m saying he’s attractive don’t you think?” [Name] smile. “Hes just my type! Do you think he would accept if I asked him out?”

Koala blinks before slowly nodding “Yeah you’re a nice girl I’m sure he would like you” Kola smile. [Name] hugs her kissing her cheek “Ah thanks for feeding into my delusions Koala” the bells rings signaling the end of gym class. [Name] helps Koala up walking to the girl changing room together. Koala stops suddenly touching her head. “Oh I left my hat! Go back without me I’ll see you in class!” Kola runs off going back to the bleacher .

Asking her if she and Sabo have a chance like Koala dosent like Sabo too” They both laugh. [Name] stops in her track holding her breath. “Koala is so tough! Running out the locker room and back outside to vending machine. She kneels down trying to hide her tears. “Koala like Sabo and I didn’t know….im such a horrible friend.” Mumbling to herself as the vending machine rattles. “Saying all those things to her right to her face I-“ “are you alright?”

The voice snaps her out of her trance. Looking up she sees Ace holding up a soda he bought. “Oh shit your crying” He kneels down next to her “Hey um if I knew you were mid crying…shesh I would’ve went to the other one” Ace smile weakly pressing the soda to [Name] face. [Name] wipes the tears from her face. “Did you um…hear anything I said?” She quickly ask

“I heard ‘I’m a terrible friend part’ oh and ‘saying all those things to her face” He admit pressing the soda more in her face for her to take. Sighing she takes the soda standing up. “Can you um forget it? It’s um very embarrassing and-“ “I don’t think you’re a terrible friend”

Ace add as he put in another cent in the vending machine. “I don’t know much about you but I know you and Koala are friends. Koala is friends with my brother! A friend of a friend is okay in my book” He smiles taking the drink. “So cheer up, whoever has you feeling that way is probably stupid”

[Name] stand there, a blush creeping on her face. He thinks I’m a good person? She looks at him. And before she knew it the word start coming at her mouth. “If…you liked some one and you told your friend how much you liked them only to find at they liked them too…would you think your a bad friend?” She ask. Ace stop moving putting the soda down. “No I don’t think so? Well if they never told me they also like the same person how would I know?” “But what if they were blushing everytime you talked about them? Or what if-“

“Is that the reason why you were crying?” Ace chuckles. “You think you’re terrible cause you and your best friend like the same person?” He drinks the can. Back in class the bell rings “alright test is over!” The teacher claps the book as the students hands up there paper. “Now you have some free time until the period is over then you are free to leave” The teacher says before walking out to office. The classroom rings with sighs and groans.

“That test was hard” Nami groans out as she lean back on the chair. Robin smiles back at her “Yeah the last question was kinda tricky right?” “Huh- if you had problems with the test I definitely failed!” She cry.

[Name] looks down at her notebook not caring for the conversation going on in the classroom. Sketching drawings of her, Koala, and Sabo. “…I need to stop thinking about it. If I keep thinking about it I’ll go insane-“

“Ah [Name]” a voice calls to her. Looking back [Name] almost chokes as she see Sabo walking to her. “You’re good at history and English right?” He sits down next to her casually. “I’m good at history but not that good in English , Koala mentions that you tutor her time and time and that why she gets good grade. Can you spare sometime and help me out?” He smiles. God that smile could just piece her right in the heart!

About to say yes, [Name] glances back to Koala siting across from her. Koala quick blushes getting caught looking at them before looking back down. “I’m sorry” the words spring out suddenly. The whole class go silent “I’m busy this week so I don’t know if I can!” Forcing a smile she stand up.

“A-Ah” Sabo stammers. “It’s alright” he takes out a piece of paper writing his number. “Just call me if you are free-“ snatching the paper she walks out the classroom. “T-that’s weird” one mumbles girl mumbles to herself. “She loves Sabo why would she reject him like that?” Another one whisper.

The front light shines on [Name] as she gives it all for her ‘final’ performance. Ever since the information of her being a mutant people drop their support for her. She still has enough fans for her final performance in the big dome. Hiding her tears as she performs her most popular song that got her famous in the first place. The crowd screaming her name. Signs that’s read “We will always love you [Name]” and “Forget all those racist [Name]”

Panting, [Name] wipes the sweat from her head. Fixing her hair and catching her breath she smiles as the tears drop down from her face.

“Thank you everyone!!” She cheers running to the front of the stage.

“For supporting me all these years! For being with me since my debut album! And for staying ever since word got out for me being a mutant!” Her smiles widen going ear to ear. [Name] takes a good deep breath before she use her telepathic power to control the mic and make it float.

“I can finally be myself! Oh surprise I’m a telepath!” [Name] tease the crowd and they cheer at the sight of she using her powers. [Name] laugh running back to the middle is stage. Waving her hands at the crowd.

Walking down the blocks of the silent street, [Name] head turn at the sight of an open diner. Raising an eyebrow she looks to the sigh. “Mutant are welcome!” It read. It’s suspicious but, there’s only two people in there. She can fight one person with the teaser she has in her bag.

Walking in, the door bell ringing. Ordering a quick coffee and some fries. [Name] sits down on of the tables. She notices a very…blue person. He looks familiar she thinks as she squints her eyes. Those ears , that tail, that fur- He’s an x men! The thought making her sit up in excitement. Truth be told [Name] was a die hard X-men fan. She would always mange to find some way to see them in action. It’s embarrassing but she could be considered a stalker.

Careful getting up, holding her phone tightly [Name] makes it too his table.

“Um Hi” [Name] waves at him. The man looks up from his burger. He suddenly flushes and place his burger down wiping his hand nervously.

“You’re an X-men right? Can I get a picture!?” [Name] blushes as she holds up her phone. The fuzzy man gets up surprised. A face that’s read “with me?”

“Yeah-yeah you can get a photo” He smiles and stand next to her. Raising her phone, [Name] takes a few selfies. I took a picture with a x-men! [Name] thinks with excitement

“Ya’ I heard. I’m sorry that happened to you Ms [Name]. You have a beautiful voice and look to be strip from your career.” Kurt comforts her. But all that [Name] was that he thinks she’s beautiful.

“You think I’m beautiful?” She tease and lean back in the seat getting comfortable with him real quick. Maybe because he is just real nice and easy to speak too. Kurt smirks and wipe his mouth

“Only a fool would thinks you’re not beautiful” He responds.

“Well thank you Kurt, you’re handsome yourself” [Name] smirks not caring that the waiter brought her the food she order.

“Really?” Kurt sways back.

“I think I might be dreaming. My favorite artist calling me handsome? I don’t believe it”. [Name] eyes travels down his body. Wait no this is crazy- flirting with a superhero like this. But no one is here other than the one worker so it’s okay right?

In which: A girl infused with the cosmic powers of a celestial wakes up after sleeping for 1000 years wake up in the morden era

Warning: characters may be OOC. Slight spelling/ grammar mistakes. Overpower MC trope

After being a sleep for a couple of thousand year to self reflect on yourself. You walk through the 21st- Century mostly confused with the new technology. Being so use to being awake when new things are invented. For example being alive when the first paper was used. Though the newest thing you heard about was people called “mutants”

According to the people you inte- talked to. You gathered that mutants were basically the evolved species of humans that has powers. What you also learn is that most humans have a strange hatred for them. Being anger at evolution? That a first for humanity.

You keep walking and walking try to theorize what could’ve made humans hate evolution so till you hear the sound of screaming. You lift your gaze to the side to see some…you don’t even know how to describe it. Some huge humanoid thing running rampage. Over the screaming you can hear words like “Damn Mutant” or “I hate mutants”

You almost step into the fight but that damn thing in forcibly stop you. “That ant has no need for my divine justice. You can sit by and watch. I have a feeling some other will deal with it” a voice booms into your head. “God I hate you” you say outside distain in your voice. That stupid celestial that gave you this curse of immortality. Gave you its power but barely let you use it, only when its deems when a person crime is harsh enough for it justice. “One say I swear I’ll overcome-“

You were about to swear when you see huge pile of rumble coming your way. Shrugging it off. It not like this could even kill me, you think closing your eye waiting for it to hit you. But you hear a weird sound and something grabbing your arm. You open your eyes and see you are in a different place. You also see a blue face-a man?.

You look confused and the man seems to notice it. “Are you alright madam? I teleport you somewhere safer” He speaks with a accent you can’t quite make out. The world develop without you so your best guess was someone east from here. You stare very deeply at him and he smile uncomfortable. “Is this your first time seeing a mutant?” He say you can hear the teasing in his voice.

You don’t pay attention to it however. You step closer to him studying him. Blue skin, sharp ears, a bit of fur on the side of his neck, and a tail. Mutants are something. As you keep studying him going closer each second. The mutant starts to blush. You don’t know if he’s uncomfortable or just shy but he seems to shifted up. Before you can ask him anything you hear a voice call out.

“Kurt when need you back over-here!!” A voice yell. Just when that voice screams. The mutant. Now you know as Kurt teleport in a purple smoke leaving you alone. “I should’ve ask for a dna sample” groaning in frustrated you walk away.

Mutant have now peaked your interest. You went back to the battle and found out he was part of some group called the X-Men. Quickly fleeing before anyone of them spots you, you run and see a person who was also in the middle of that attack. Going to them, you quickly learn that the X-men was a super hero group of mutants that helps humans. Though you also learn how much the person hates mutants.

Now your main goal is to study the mutant race, how hard could that be?
