I like to do everything in threes. I talk in threes, I write in threes, and I style in threes. In this case, I matched my hat, top, and shoes. When you style in threes, you can pull any outfit together. And, if you're looking to add a little excitement to your simple outfit, DIY your shorts with a little fabric, thread, and a needle. Don't get rid of your old cutoffs! Just "spice" them up a bit!

I like to lead a busy life but sometimes I need an agenda-less day. A day where I wake up when I want, eat what I want (cookies forever) and do absolutely whatever I feel like. It's refreshing and it let's me step back and get in touch with myself again. It also gives me time to appreciate life instead of just going through the motions. As the love of my life Ferris Bueller puts it, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." These comfy lace up sneakers pair effortlessly with this attitude. Whatever it is I decide to do, they'll be enjoying the ride with me. x, Madeline

Music has always been a passion of mine. I love the way a song can remind you of certain memories, places, or people. I love the way lyrics can make you cry or want to spin around in your room in happiness. I love going to concerts with like-minded people who are just so excited to hear live music. But, it's always difficult deciding what to wear when going to a concert. Well, I've been to enough concerts to know that you should wear what you feel good in, comfortable, and something you can dance in. Sneaks like this are ideal dancing shoes + french braids allow you to get a little crazy without your hair getting too crazy! And, when you take out the french braids the next day, you will have beautiful lovely curls ready to meet the love of your life, unexpectedly, in your favorite coffee shop. So double win.

Madeline and I explored Santa Monica, did some fun activities, and even filmed a little video for you guys! Stay tuned for that! But, as for my outfit, I thought it was only appropriate to wear my burger shirt while eating a burger (obviously), and to top it off, my JIM sneaks had the exact same pink to go with my shirt. It was a match made in heaven! Sometimes little details like that can bring your entire outfit together. Also, eating burgers is always a good choice too.

Hello from Los Angeles! The key to happy traveling is eliminating as much stress as possible. A huge way to do this is by packing light. Bring a few staple pieces you can wear multiple times in different ways. I did this this trip by packing my white sneakers. They can be paired with practically any style of outfit for pracitcally any activity. WHOOO. So get out there and travel...pack smart and don't stress! x, Madeline

I spent my Fourth of July weekend visiting some family in Miami! I always try to find outfits while I'm there that allow me to bounce from the beach to the boardwalks so I'm not changing or uncomfortable all day. I paired this mesh shirt (which is a great bathing suit coverup) with my cutoffs and my handy dandy white sneaks. These sneakers were comfortable when I was walking all around the city and easy to slip off when I wanted to go to the pool. + I topped it off with my studded backpack instead of a beach bag to keep all my belongings safe and stylish. ;)
