i v much agree with the sirius as the leader of marauders rather than james thing but like. james is the religious leader if you know what i mean?? like its james that says sirius is the leader so the others should follow him, its james that doesn't tell them what to do like sirius & isn't obviously in charge like sirius but he's there & he's got power & could potentially get sirius replaced if he so wishes (he just never would)

You what i love about marauders? The idea of having friends.

The idea that sirius black could call james potter at any time of the day and he would be there for him.

The idea that they would go and do some random big prank (harmless) just because one of them was bored.

The idea and remus lupin could be himself in front of these people, and they don't judge him. They know what he is, but they also know who he is, and they're there for him.

It's a nice thing to think about. You could have some friends in the world and a place to call home with love and understanding. It's nice.
