Some November Goals ♡:

-Pray more Sunnah salah, especially the two rakah before Fajr regularly.

-Reading the Quran daily even if it's only a few verses/ pages)

-Avoid backbiting, slander and gossip.

-Speak good or remain silent.

-Being consistent with istighfar and salawat.

-Make duaa and donate for the oppressed in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Kashmir, the Uyghur & the whole Ummah.

Fall is my favorite time of year because everything starts changing. The trees that stand so tall and full of greenery start shedding their beautiful leaves and transition into a new phase. But this new phase of losing doesn't make them any less beautiful. Infact when the leaves change color and then fall, they add to the beauty of the tree. Change can be beautiful. Losing what you have and still standing strong and accepting the new phase of your life is also beautiful.

Trust Allah's plans. Welcome your new season. Welcome the new phase.

Allah can heal your hurting heart in the next second. He can change your situation the following day. He can make miracles happen for you the next morning you wake up. But right now your heart is throbbing with pain. Right now your life is falling apart. Right now nothing makes sense. But right now you're waking up to pray Fajr. Right now you're trying to remember Him throughout the day. Right now you're pouring your heart out to Him in duaa. Right now Allah wants you to keep bringing all the broken pieces to Him. To keep seeking His closeness and then one day just like that, weeks or months later– He will heal your heart. He will seal your wounds and there will only be faint scars left. The things that make you cry so much and keep you awake at night, they wont bother you so much anymore. He will make that happen for you. He will have mercy on your heart. But you have to travel the journey that leads you to Him. And when you look back you'll realise the moments that you were the most vulnerable were the sweetest moments of your life. They brought you back to your Creator.

Not expecting things from people is the hardest thing to do. But it's also the most important thing you can do for yourself. Those nights you spend crying because they broke your heart are normal. Its normal to feel pain. To be hurt and to even cry. But the cycle will only end when you stop giving so much of your heart and mind to those who only know how to use you. Its hard to walk away but you know whats harder? To keep trying to be everything to someone who sees you as nothing. You are everything. But no matter what you do they don't have the eyes or heart to see it. And you know what? You shouldn't expect someone so shallow to be able to feel the depth of the beauty of your existence.

The key is prayer and tawakkul. What doesn't make sense right now can be cleared in a second. What seems far can come near in the blink of an eye. What is impossible right now can happen in the next moment. So make your du'a sincere and your tawakkul deep, The miracles that you want will come true.❤️‍🩹

Whoever thinks well of Allah, Allah will not disappoint them. Whoever thanks Allah for a blessing, Allah will increase them in His bounty. And whoever relies on Allah, He will suffice them.🤍

Don't take advantage of someone who are sincere with you because one day they may leave your life but you will always be a part of theirs. Allah will heal them one day. But they will always carry the pain, abuse, hurtful words and tears you gave them somewhere in their heart.

And what a sad way to be remembered.

I went to an islamic gathering one day and the speaker said something so simple yet so deep. She said:

"We're so busy trying to get to the next thing in life that we dont slow down and pay attention to the beauty of the moment. Same goes for our salah, we are in such a rush that our minds are constantly thinking 'Ok fatiha done, next a surah, ok next ruku then sujood' that we forget to actually find peace in the remembrance of Allah at each rukun of our prayer. If you keep thinking about whats next in life and in prayer, you'll miss out on the purpose of the creation of your heart."

I really think about that sometimes.

People who have never been in love will never understand the feeling. So next time you find yourself feeling frustrated as you try to explain yourself or when you come face to face with taunting words and mocking expressions in reaction to your joy or pain– take a deep breath and remind yourself that someone who has never swam in these oceans will never understand it's depth.

One of my favorite parts of the day is when I sit on my prayer mat, raise my hands and make a duaa for someone else. A single duaa. Just a few words that I say for the goodness of someone else's life. Family, friends, loved ones, or a stranger. Whoever it is that my heart is inspired to pray for that day, that feeling is definitely the most beautiful one. Knowing that I can make a difference in their lives and show my love in the form of a prayer feels like a warm hug from my heart to theirs. Even without them knowing.

True peace is not letting other people define you. Allah judges you as you are not as people think you are.

You complain about not having someone to talk to but you still don't pray. You feel like no one understands you but you still don't pray. You sit and scroll for hours trying to fill the emptiness but you still don't pray. You cry on your pillow but you still don't pray. You have blessings that others are crying for but you still don't pray. Your Rabb waits for you to respond to His call but you still don't pray.

Prayer is life, but you still don't pray.

When you see a muslim woman you think she's oppressed because she's covered.

If dressing half naked to please filthy eyes is considered freedom, I don't want it.

It's June.

I pray this month brings an end to the suffering of the people of Palestine, Sudan, and Congo.🤲🏻🤍
