Do you know a Mr Thomas Buckley?
Wade stiffened in his chair and swallowed a gulp of his pint harshly. "I’ve heard of him. Can’t say I’ve met him, though I’d like to. He’s a physicist, right? Works at the Paranormal Investigations University, if I’m not mistaken?"
Wade acted like he hardly knew anything about this man, when in reality, he knew everything, and wanted to meet him desperately…

Wade turned around to face her immediately as she let out an unsettling wail for help. Once again, it was all too familiar for him, but he exactly knew how to handle a situation like this one. "Ssh, calm down, it's okay." He cooed to her calmly, his hands out to reassure her that she was safe in his home. He couldn't touch her. He didn't know why, he just knew it would result in something horrible.
"You're safe, okay? Nobody's gonna hurt you while you're here, do you understand me?" He said firmly as he approached her. "Why don't you tell me your name and I'll see what I can do to help you?" He smiled, trying his best to calm the spirit down without making physical contact.
A New Face to Look At || Wade & Mari {AU}
Mari looked around. She had no idea where she was. She could hear the man in front of her talking, but she didn’t understand how he could see her. He wanted to know what she needed. “HELP!” She screamed, followed by a whimper and her scratching at the walls. “DON’T LET HIM GET ME!!!!” In her mind, she was still there, in the living room of her house… and there was her boyfriend…she shuddered slightly. “Help.” She whispered softly.

A New Face to Look At || Wade & Mari {AU}
Wade moved into his kitchen to pour himself a cup of coffee. Not looking where he was going - way too busy paying attention to the television - he bumped into someone... Or something... A young women. Wade was startled, but it didn't come as a complete shock to him. He was used to random spirits popping up in his apartment by now. "Why can't you guys ever use the door instead of randomly appearin' in front of me like that? Scares the shit outta me, y'know." He laughed to himself. He walked around her casually, shaking his head, and entered his kitchen fully. "So, what can I do for yah?" He asked, pouring himself the coffee he was desperately craving.

Subway Blues {Open}
Today was a dismal day for Wade. He was on his way to inspect an unfortunate suicide victim whom had jumped in front of a subway train. Subways were the worst for both murders and suicides. Ghosts would appear left, right and center around him and leave him groggy and unable to think efficiently while working. Today, his only mode of transport was, in fact, the subway as his car needed repairing. He waited for the 7:15 train. It came a few minutes early. No signs of anything paranormal so far. He approached the train as it stopped at it's station, his head held down and his hood up so that nobody could make eye contact with him. He would always do this. He wasn't a big fan of awkward eye contact in public places.
The train departed, his hand firmly grasping the railing above his head - there was no room to sit - All he could wonder was of who he would bump into, or even worse, who or what he would see lurking inbetween the passengers...

The girl seemed skittish and a little shy, which made Wade chuckle a little. "Oh, I see," Wade smiled widely once she explained the problem to him, finding the whole situation rather humourous. "Must be the neighbourhood ghosts playing tricks on us, right?" He laughed. He took his mail from the young women and proceeded to check his mailbox for hers. Her mail was indeed in there. "Sorry about the fuss." He said as he handed over the letters.
"I'm Wade, by the way - Just moved here." He offered her his hand with another friendly smile.

She looked at the number placed on the wall of the home and then turned to check the street- she was in the right place. Finding to see a man walking towards her, she figured it was the owner who was finally coming home. Once he asked, she immediately lit up, finding that he was the one she was looking for. “Oh! Yes. I was wondering if you lived in this nice home. You see, I received mail today but I don’t really think it was for me since it had the address to this home- not mine.” Seeing that she was rambling once again, she bit her lip, “Um- I think our mail got switched.”
