Dresses of Nurbanu: Green Color

Green is the symbol of growth, harmony, freshness, safety and nature. Green is often used on Nurbanu

This is the “stealed” dress. Mahidevran wore it many times before Nurbanu, but this dress is also very beautiful on Nurbanu. We see it two times, in episodes 134 and 138.

Again, this dark green dress is “stealed”. We’ve seen it on Hatice and Huricihan. The first one is the dark green dress with kaftan from Mahidevran. The kaftan isn’t in the same tone as the dress, so I don’t like this one. The second kaftan is also reused, this time from valide sultan, but it fits with the dress better. It isn’t very beautiful, but not a very horrible dress. 

This is also one reused dress. We have seen it on Shah sultan and Mihrünissa. It’s a bit annoying, but Nurbanu wore it only for 30 seconds. So I can not comment this much :(

And one “original” dress :D I like this dress very much, especially the embroided part. With this tiara and the necklace, Nurbanu looks like a real Queen of Venice. The outfit looks very royal and rich, and it won’t be forgotten. We see this dress two times in the final episode, 139.

And finally the mint dress. It is one of my favourites, I love the embroided part and the sleeves. The tone is perfect and it didn’t annoy me when I saw this dress for maybe 20 times :) I have just fallen for this dress :)

One dress again which can be seen for couple times. I like this dress, I love the part which has lace decorations. What is more, this dress doesn’t have the “kaftan” part, its in one piece. The tone of this dress is also very good. 

And one reused dress again. The dress is taken from Hatice, but I like it more on Nurbanu. One very beautiful dress :) It’s a pity that Nurbanu wore it only one time :(

I like green color and for Nurbanu, green color is perfect.

Dresses of Nurbanu: Black color

Nurbanu doesn’t like wearing black outfits. Like white color, black is seen only couple times and mostly they are funereal dresses. 

This one is seen in episodes 126 and 135. Kaftan is reused, from Shah.

I like the collar of this dress, but the dress looks like a coat. Too many patterns and the cape is too much :/. Epsiodes 126 and 135.

And another three random funereal dresses. The first one is from episode 112, the second one is the same as the first (from this post), they only added a fur and the third  has red black-embroidered kaftan. The third dress is also worn by Shah . We see these two in episode 135.

Nurbanu wears black only 8 times, even if black suits her pretty much :)

Dresses of Nurbanu: White color

We see nurbanu in white only couple times. White color is the symbol of purity, innocence, light, goodness, heaven, safety, brilliance, understanding, faith, beginnings, softness, and perfection.  We see only 3 different white costumes on Nurbanu

This white dress is my favourite. I like the yelek (kaftan) and the dress. It suits perfectly and and adds a “lace” on the dress. She wears it only one time, in episode 106.

I like this dress. I love the sleeves and the green-embroidered yelek. The underdress is the same as the previous one, and It is the only one white underdress Nurbanu has. We see this beautiful combination in episode 137.

And the most used white dress (She wears it 2 times :D). This dress isn’t very special for me, it doesn’t have anything that makes it memorable. The yelek is beautiful, but  I have also seen this on many girls and it has lost its glamor. One time is OK for this dress, but not wearing it when you are a sultana. We see this one in episodes 110 and 128.

And one nightgown we see only for couple seconds. The same nightgown was worn by Mihrimah on her nuptial night. Episode 121.

Another nightgown with pink decoration. Again we see only 10 seconds, so I can’t comment it much. From episode 107.

Again one typical white dress, I actually don’t know is it nightgown or a daytime dress. Nurbanu wore it only one time in episode 113.

To sum up, white isn’t very much used on Nurbanu, but white color suits her pretty much. She worw white only 7 times (If I didn’t forget something :))
