Kyra wasn't granted godhood by divine right. She had to earn it.

Ah yes, Kyra.

This dragon goddess is many things to many people, but there are three cornerstones of her identity.

1. She's the Mother of Magic. She created the arcane, and a thousand lifetimes has given her the ability to master it. Her secrets, stored in dusty tomes that crowd the halls of her citadel, is more than any one mortal can comprehend - a bastion of knowledge, the patron saint of study.

2. She's the Supreme Conduit. Most people control magic by channeling it through an object of significance, but Kyra harnesses the power of the world directly. Conduits are rare and incredibly dangerous, and she breaks the power curve - a force of nature, a being without equal.

3. She's the Last of the Dragons. Aurelian historians debate endlessly about the ancient race of dragons that once walked the earth, but they all agree on two things - their empire touched every corner of the world, and the civil war that led to their collapse also led to their extinction. Kyra is an event horizon, an endling - the last of her people, cruelty unmatched.

She also rocks this outfit let's be real.

Quick sketch of Luther throwing a punch. He wields a pair of powerful tesla gauntlets, which amplify his already sizeable strength and speed.

Fun fact: he actually designed and built those gauntlets! Luth is an avid tinkerer and knows how to work with tech, despite struggling with formal education. His best friend Khali helped him bring them to life before they had a falling out.

Following up from my previous blog, here are some alternate versions of my character lineup! I associate each character with a color, which I use for my sketches and general color theory. It also allows me to get more creative with lighting and composition sometimes ^^

Jason Adarna: Healer, diplomat, and archmage.

Katherine Crowe: Freelance mercenary and monster hunter.

Aeris Sterling: Archaeologist, specializing in ancient linguistics.

Luther Hawke: Archaeologist and bodyguard, service to Aeris.

Khali Alicanto: Artificer and weapon designer.

Expect to see more of these six in the future!
