advxhyejin:
Her lips pressed together nervously as she attempted to soak in as many details about Seulgi as she could, but Hyejin was not made for these types of situations. It was easier to try and kick doors down or climb up mountains; physical activity she could do, intellectual pursuits were not her forte. She chose to give the stranger the benefit of the doubt. “Well, I suppose I have a day off today,” she answered carefully, slowly.
She still stood nervously, but her shoulders at least managed to fall into a more relaxed posture. Hyejin looked around and half-nodded toward a store. “You can ask me any questions in this café. I heard they make good pastries.”
If Seulgi could burst out in loud cackles at the girl’s wide eyes without busting her hasty façade – she would, but alas, now was not the time. Instead, Seulgi’s lips twitched up into a Cheshire grin, her pearly whites gleaming not unlike that of a wolf’s gaping maw. “Great~” She sang, clapping her hands together gleefully. “I sure hope you don’t mind spending the day with me then, unnie!” the chirpy tone tasted like ash clogging her throat, and probably sounded a little too forced to be genuine (and was the woman even older than her, for that matter?) but whatever– the girl seemed to be buying it, and so Seulgi plunged stubbornly onwards.
Seulgi was a wolf donning sheep’s clothing, much like those fairytales the caretakers at the orphanage liked to read; and like those stories, Seulgi really had no idea what she was doing; nor did she know how ridiculous she looked, barring her teeth whilst attempting to ‘smile gently’ at her prey. Seulgi thought the whole thing was going splendidly – spectacularly well even, when in reality she was doing an absolutely atrocious job and should be grateful that Hyejin didn’t decide to ignore her antics completely. But alas, as luck would have it, Seulgi managed to ensnare a genuinely caring individual as her latest victim, and so whilst Hyejin’s accommodating attitude seemed a little too good to be true, Seulgi merely took it as a sign that she was doing brilliantly; which was the very opposite of reality.
Seulgi nodded happily at Hyejin’s suggestion, though admittedly she didn’t really know what a ‘pastry’ was, but oh well, whatever goes. “I’ve never tried a ‘pastries’ before, unnie~ Is it a type of…food?” Seulgi asked, genuinely curious. “The last one there is paying!” Seulgi finally let out her caged cackles into the air as she ran towards the café.
-
“Hm~ so the Foundation is that kind of place!” Seulgi murmured, temporarily distracted with stuffing her mouth with even more pastry. These things are really good~ Seulgi thought. What was even in them? As she pinched another up with a forefinger and thumb, Seulgi stared intently at the crumbly skin of the pastry, as if she could divulge the secrets of the universe from the filling. “I have a really… infectious ability though, so I’m a little scared of harming the residents within!” She divulged with a faux despairing sigh, though in reality, Seulgi could care less if she infects the whole lot of them.
“What do you think I should do, Unnie?” Seulgi pouted. “How do you prevent your power from being used willy-nilly?”

There was a predator perched upon the fire escape; his bloodlust so unabashedly displayed that it was almost suffocating.
Seulgi had never seen such a brazen carnivore before.
To a bold creature like him, the pursuit of the hunted –the eye-rolling pleasure of the kill – was a natural forethought, and victory a mere assured afterthought. Seulgi could see graceful complacency – borne of so many successes that it became a right – in the careless sway of his legs, unmindful of the dizzying drop between his fragile body and the ground.
As he leapt, he was devoid of fear; his deceptive human form twisting into smoke that carried the scent of his last kill. He was a demon in disguise, and unlike Seulgi, he was a mutant unafraid to show his abilities and the authorities, and her hands balled into fists at the realization. He was either insane, or he was capable of avoiding the chains and leashes of the Foundation much better than she ever could. As she looked upon his maniacal smile; Seulgi wasn’t sure where to henge her bets. Alarm bells were ringing in the recesses of her mind.
To these type of carnivores; cannibalism was a treat.
He didn’t belong in these alleyways. He was a panther skipping into the den of wolves - but if he had anything to say about it, those alleyways – this territory - will soon belong to him instead. He was the predator on a self-imposed conquest, and Seulgi realized she was a mere obstacle in his way.
Seulgi barred her teeth like a wild animal, and the silence-shattering sound of enamel upon enamel was akin to the sound of a knife on flintstone; sharpening in preparation of a fight.
“Oho~ Tell me why I should answer to you, boy.”
Seulgi cocked her head to the side as she wondered if she should snap out and make her mark on him. As adrenaline rushed through her veins at the thought of his eyes filled with agony of disease, a slow smile draped itself over her face: it would be the utmost honor to kill such a carnivore with her own claws – a sly dingo besting a magnificent panther; oh how exciting would that be?
“Ah~ never mind! Why; I’d imagine you would find out very, very, soon,” she cooed.
Seulgi was ready when he made his intentions clear by consuming her kill. He shot the rat right between his eyes – whatever, that filthy toy was nowhere as fun as this man right in front of her, anyway – In seconds, Seulgi responded by lunging at him with an intention to dominate.
“Whoops~ Looks like my feet slipped a little!”
Seulgi giggled shrilly as she eagerly reached for his exposed skin. His handsome face would look so much better irreparably scarred by disease, don’t you think?
Instead, her hands hit a cloud of black, annoyingly suffocating smoke.

advxjennie:
[…]
Her gloved hands reach out to rest on Seulgi’s shoulder, “Seulgi, honey, it’s up to you to spook them by killing them off one by one if they decide to be good and not kill each other. I want you to teach them that Bad. Always. Wins.”
“You’ll be a moderator of my games! I’ll even let you practice your power on my gamers. You can do anything you want with them, and it’ll never lead back to you, because the gamers will kill each other for you. There will be no blood on your hands,” she reassures Seulgi, her smirk getting wider with each word, “and we’ll teach the world that the only way to beat any system is by being a little… oh, naughty.”
Ahhhh. The girl was becoming more and more irritating by the second – Maybe this toy really was broken; so much so that its parts were responding to Seulgi’s threats with an appalling lack of self-preservation, and nowhere near the amount of fear that Seulgi sought to revel in. Yes, as incredulous as it seemed, perhaps it was so damaged beyond repair that not even Seulgi could harm it further. (Seulgi didn’t even think it was possible until now – but as she looked at madly grinning little girl in front of her; Seulgi could think of better toys to destroy than these already shattered pieces; carelessly reassembled into something not quite a functional human being.) And so as Seulgi pondered upon the limited merits of playing with already damaged toy, and whether it would bring her any joy at all; if this lack of excitement was to characterize their first and probably last encounter, when the girl started telling Seulgi a story.
Slowly, Seulgi’s Cheshire grin faded into something not quite a petulant pout. Boring. Sure, Seulgi liked stories, back when she resided within the orphanage, as her mother had never cared enough nor lucid enough to read young Seulgi a bedtime story. However, in a fashion that was uniquely Seulgi, she had always thought the stories were way too idealistic and bloodless to make for much entertainment.
But gradually, as the girl’s voice caressed and stroked Seulgi’s mind, her words like sharp, freezing knifes into her consciousness; her dark intent and vindictive meaning seeping into her brain tissue like sludgy poison, Seulgi’s eyes begun to grow childishly wide with wonder. She wanted to know more; she wanted to know the ending – where the villains won for once - and how this girl gleefully killed and tortured her mother’s loved ones, and a part of Seulgi was envious she couldn’t do the same to her own monster of a mother. Enraptured within this grotesque fairytale, Seulgi leaned in, her mouth gaping with enthrallment.
(Needless to say, as soon as Seulgi processed the terms and conditions of ‘Games’ and ‘free reign’, Seulgi already willingly signed her name upon the line dotted with blood.)
As the girl finished her proposal, her characteristic smile curved upon her features like a the devil’s horns, Seulgi’s lips leisurely stretched into a wide smile, as if slashed by a knife to reach from ear to ear, and joyous laughter jerkily tumbled out of her lips not unlike the devastating sound of shattering glass. Slowly, the peculiar laugh permeated the air in bouts of hysterics, and despite her previous inclinations, Seulgi could begrudgingly admit that this girl was no toy.
Nonono. Seulgi was wrong. This girl was just like her. Oh why couldn’t Seulgi have seen it before; that mad glint glistening like a fine piece of ruby within the girl’s eyes? How the depths of the girl’s smile was murky and grimy as coal, and her teeth bright and gleaming like the shards of bone from the people she’d already consumed?
Oh my – this girl was trouble; almost like murder personified; and Seulgi loved it. Had she ever met a person like this, so utterly and unabashedly decadent? And oh, how Seulgi wanted to do the same; to torture and kill as she wished, with endless stashes of toys to break.
“Hmm~ I quite like the sound of that.” Seulgi giggled. “Though I do have a special part of my heart dedicated to the feeling of blood on my hands~”
“So when do I start?” Seulgi responded in lieu of agreement, eagerly looking around the field as if Jennie was hiding the gamers behind her petite back.

Seulgi was playing a Game.
A blood pumping, exhilarating, and gloriously bloody Game.
(And when Seulgi stuck her tongue out to lick her lips, she could taste glorious fear in the air around her, wrapped in elaborate bows of desperation like a come-hither gift, and Seulgi. Never. Felt. More. Alive.)
And oh, what a fun, fun game it was, Seulgi grinned as she nimbly leapt over another obstacle in the path towards her bumbling prey. The alleyways were her hunting ground now, and Seulgi was the misplaced huntress basking in the thrill of the chase as she taunted and played with her mark. Around her, the streets were eerily silent, as if the rest of the world was hiding in fear from the real predator as she came out to play, her disease claws aching for fresh blood.
Whoever said that one shouldn’t play with their food had obviously never experienced the true joys of being able to play with live ones. No, no, there’s nothing better than playing a glorious Game of cat and mouse – one that only ends when they collapse onto their feeble, trembling legs – why, can you really think of anything more exhilarating than that?
When Seulgi cornered the man into the end of an alley, a Cheshire grin on her face and a deadly gait to match, the pleasing sight of terrified eyes and his gangrene covered lips came into view. It was such a pity that Seulgi couldn’t let his delicious screams decorate the air while she ripped into him, but of course, she couldn’t let the Game end too early, especially when the Foundation could swoop in heroically at any time to ruin her fun.
The human begged for mercy as well as he could from his sealed lips, his legs shaking and knocking together as he registered his impending doom.
All the better for me to swallow you whole, my dear.
‘Run, Run, as fast as you can,’ Seulgi sang mockingly as she reached out to scratch a long line in his skin with her bacteria covered nails, and as glorious gas gangrene to bubbled up; the man to screamed in pain and shock, and the smell of urine permeated the air.
“Oh no,” Seulgi murmured with faux sympathy. “It seems like it’s the end of the line for you, mister~”
“Although, I’m sure I could scrape up a bit more mercy if you were willing to part with your credit cards~” Seulgi let a deranged giggle escape as the man hesitated, her fingernails flexing as she prepared for some more persuasion.
Suddenly, the back of her neck prickled.
“Who’s there?”Seulgi snapped.

advxjaehyung:
advseulgi:
[ … ]
you know, some days jaehyung forgets that not everyone has his deplorable sense of humor. but maybe it just might be the fact that the person he had spoken to was just some drunk older guy who now wanted to try and fight him.
thank goodness for the fact that he actually has his power and can make it so this guy looks like he’s blindly punching at air. to be fair, jaehyung didn’t expect the other to start throwing punches. and then his friends joined. and now jae is just actively dodging, really terrified for his life. even though these people are normal (at least they look normal). he’s unaware of his purple eyes but the glasses cover them. and even when he hears something weird about his appearance from the drunk people, he just completely ignores them.
eventually it gets to a point where jaehyung is exhausted. and the drunks are too. he apologizes, multiple times. the drunks are tired out, finally. to be honest jae thought he was gonna end up dropping dead from all the energy he had spent.
groaning, jaehyung decides he’ll just continue heading home but he should first stop and get some water. that and maybe a short nap? originally he was gonna play a few rounds of league before bed but he’d probably fall asleep on his damn keyboard. maybe getting some ramyeon or something along those lines would be good too… but he did have some small side dishes at home he could eat. jaehyung’s not really sure. he adjusts his glasses and stifles a yawn. he finally starts to make his way out of the seedier area of seoul when he feels a chill run down his spine. he ignores it and starts making a very slow pace away from the lights and the bars.
he’s unaware of the predator lurking in the distance, however.
Seulgi wanted to play a Game – a hopefully bloody and gloriously exhilarating Game – and just so happens, a little mutant with an interesting display of power had caught her little eye, unknowingly designating himself as the next unwilling player. Seulgi giggled and bowed to an imaginary audience. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it seems like we’ve found our next participant – sincere apologies that our last one…exited the stage so spectacularly.
(And what did she mean by exited, you asked? Well; by now the body would have provided a delicious snack for the many fishes within Han River, and Seulgi delighted even more at the thought of the rotten, diseased flesh infecting even the sea life there. Seulgi grinned. Oh goody; maybe she’ll even start an epidemic! And you know what they say; the more sickness the merrier~)
But no matter, my lovely audience – here’s our next little toy, already wrapped in an elaborate bow of ignorance and exhaustion. And now – take your bets!
Slowly, like a carnivore circling its leisurely way around an unsuspecting deer, Seulgi prowled closer and closer to the mutant, her fingers twitching for the need for blood. “Why hello there, little boy~” Seulgi purred, the sound lilting and deceptively sweet sounding to the ear, much like the calm before the storm, the silence before the vicious pounce of a tiger. “Ahh~ that was a spectacular display of power from before, wasn’t it?” Seulgi laughed, a finger raised to tap at her lips gently, thoughtfully.
“So… now, I’ve decided I want to play a little… game with you~” Seulgi cooed, her leg muscles tensing in preparation for a glorious Game of chase and get-infected-and-die.
“And I suggest you take out your power again, little mutant – or you might have to run a little bit faster than that!”
And with that cheerful greeting, Seulgi lunged forward, curious as to what the mutant’s abilities truly entailed.

advmiryo:
[...]
“come on then,” she says, sounding every bit as omniscient as some think she is. the frying pan has cooled, and mihye isn’t one to let it age in the sink while she eats, so she carries it over, starts soaping it. the other girl isn’t responding. “food’s hot, come eat.” mihye turns her head, laughs to herself when she spots the younger girl again, and walks towards her, forgets herself and brings her soaped up frying pan along. “do you need an invitation? i know you’re there, kid.”
Even since her first encounter with that Woman, Seulgi just couldn’t comprehend that such a human existed. Even when Seulgi bared her fangs at her, tried to claw at her with her diseased nails, the Woman refused to play her Games, batting her aside with ease, much like how a superior predator would a baby rabbit. Even more frighteningly, the Woman wouldn’t allow Seulgi to make skin to skin contact, rendering Seulgi and her ability useless. It was almost as if the Woman knew about her ability, and even how to counter it; and that all-knowing quality set Seulgi on edge. After all, without her ability, Seulgi was about as vulnerable as a lab mouse set aside for dissection.
But how does she do it? The Woman seemed innocuous – human – enough, not even a peep of a mutation in her actions. (Though admittedly her body was lithe and she probably had enough strength in one fist to break all of the bones in Seulgi’s body.) But it was also more than that - there was something else about her, a predator’s gait perhaps, that spoke eons of an ability to subdue and conquer. Seulgi was reluctantly both awed and frightened by such a thing, though she couldn’t help but to follow the Woman around, trying to figure out what exactly what She was.
As she watched the Woman’s the actions curiously, Seulgi couldn’t help but to be lured into the open kitchen, enticed by the smell wafting out of it. Pitifully, Seulgi’s stomach cried out, concave in the many days that Seulgi has gone without food. Food was never really a necessity until Seulgi was about to collapse, and so the sight of omelettes very nearly overrode Seulgi’s sense of self-preservation. Emphasis on the ‘nearly’, of course.
However, for today it seemed as if life’s perverse sense of humor decided to throw rotten lemons her way. Seulgi balked as inexplicably, the Woman’s gaze turned and pierced directly to her hiding spot, batting away the metaphoric shadows that Seulgi wore like a cloak with ease. How does she do that? Under Her gaze, Seulgi bristled, much like an overgrown house-cat thrown out in the blinding sunlight. And as the Woman approached, Seulgi reared up onto the balls of her feet with her shock, uncharacteristic panic consuming her frantic actions as she made to run. But where to? The Woman was coming closer, closer, like a predator circling its prey in Seulgi’s mind, and no matter how much Seulgi scrabbled, she couldn’t bring herself to run around Her to get to the exit. Seulgi hated being weak; being on the defensive – but when this Woman seemed omniscient as the God Seulgi didn’t believe in, Seulgi felt more fear lodged within her throat than any other confrontations she’d ever had.
A frying pan was in Her hands as she blocked the exit with her silhouette, and Seulgi barred her teeth weakly in response. She was torn – should she try and make a run for it still? This must be what prey feels like before they’re consumed, cornered with nowhere else to escape to. So consumed with the ‘what ifs’ that could arise if the Woman managed to corner her drove Seulgi to strike out blindly with her hands and flailing arms, hoping to catch the Woman off guard.
“W-what are you planning, Woman??” A shriek is pushed out, reedy and thin with wariness.

advchaeyoung:
chaeyoung raised a brow in curiosity towards the female mutant’s facial expression. “oh? a fellow mutant,” she muttered. a slight grin appeared on her face as she was quite amused by mutant’s reaction to chaeyoung’s presence. the blanket of night had engulfed the skies and the assassin’s scent of a predator had lingered around her. an assassin should be able to conceal their identity and presence at all time, but at his moment it had seemed that chaeyoung had slipped her shadows free on purpose. her intention had always laid unpredictable. from an outsider’s point of view, menacing, such as the example of the situation that stood before her. her shadows had always took an interest towards other mutants. however, not just any mutant, but a kind of mutant who would possibly be an equal or threat in terms of abilities. it has been a while since she was involved in a blood-stained good fight, but for today she had decided to make her position clear towards the stranger. after a light yawn had escaped her lips, intentionally hoping to bring down the tense atmosphere, she stretched an arm to start off with shaking hands. “park chaeyoung. you’re correct i am a mutant as well, and you are?” she introduced awaiting the fellow mutant’s answer. wow, such an incompatible one.
The girl seemed innocuous enough at first glance. Nevertheless; Seulgi recognized those little tell-tale signs of a darker nature: the light, almost soundless footsteps, wiry muscles twisting under her clothes, and eyes like two peepholes into the inky abyss. Most telling of all were the shadows that seemed to cling to the girl, shifting here and there as if of their own volition, and Seulgi’s unease at the shifting darkness showed in her uncharacteristic wariness.
As an unhurried smile spread slowly, almost forebodingly upon the mutant’s face, Seulgi found her own instincts switch involuntarily switch from fight to flight. Still, her feet remained stubbornly rooted to the ground as Seulgi bristled, unwilling to back down. There were too many unknowns about this mutant; too many telling signs of a predator, and too much blood and iron permeating the air.
Even when the mutant yawned, showing normal human teeth instead of monstrous pointed ones, Seulgi stiffened, and dared not to come any closer. Normally, Seulgi would be irritated at the show of complacency, but only confident predators yawn right before pouncing upon their prey, and so Seulgi kept her distance.
Seulgi didn’t know why she was so wary, but after some hesitation, she abstained from taking the offered hand.
“Kang Seulgi.” She hissed from a safe distance. “And you better remember that, girl.”

advbingbing:
[...]
Said and done - she now picked up another bite of the food on the fork and brought a palm underneath to prevent it from falling to the ground if it would slide off the fork, all while turning and leaning closer to Seulgi. “Go on,” she urges the other, “It still a bit hot, so be careful. Just tell me if it suits your taste better now or if I need to add anything else to it.”
Hopefully, she managed to get everything right with the small addition of salt, otherwise it might take them a bit longer to settle down at the table and eat; a couple minutes more, which was not very long, but the rice would not stay warm forever and if it had to be reheated, then the waiting time would get even longer.
Seulgi cocked her head eerily and yet petulantly to the side as Bingbing simply shook her head before ceasing her lecturing. What – is she not going to continue? Seulgi thought, furrows forming in the space between her brows. But why not? She always lectures on and on about everything and anything, so….so why isn’t she doing that now? Seulgi didn’t like the sinking feeling in her chest, and unable to figure out what it was, Seulgi made another sorry attempt towards the pan, greedy fingers mindlessly reaching for another juicy piece of chicken amidst the still bubbling heat. Perhaps that’ll get Bingbing to talk again, Seulgi thought. For some reason, Seulgi liked hearing Bingbing’s voice, however annoying her words may be. Or at least, the melodious tone was much preferable to silence.
Before she reached the pan, however, Bingbing’s admonishing look froze Seulgi in her tracks. Seulgi huffed in response before she abstained. “Fineee. Until you add in the salt.” Sulkily, like a child not given her way, Seulgi glowered darkly as she observed Bingbing’s expert movements. “Silly Bingbing,” Seulgi scoffed as she watched the fork stir the food restlessly. “For a human, you’ve already come pretty close to my taste.”
(Although…  what’s this about other guests? Seulgi’s mouth pulled down in a grimace. Who dares to play with my favorite toy?)
At Bingbing’s offer, Seulgi balked a little bit before leaning forward to accept, unfamiliar with this action. She didn’t seem to recall anyone else offering food to her like that, and least of all her own mother. “Hmmm~ I suppose it’s better now.” Seulgi murmured as she chewed, though contrary to her words, her eyes remained fixated upon the pan of food hungrily. When the time came to pour the food into a plate, Seulgi giggled before lifting the massive plate in her hands above her head like a trophy. “Look! I’ve got the plate~” Seulgi sing-songed as she moved thoughtlessly into Bingbing’s personal space, presenting it to her like a self-entitled child looking for a reward.  “It’s the biiiiiggest one from the shelf!” She crowed as she dumped it thoughtlessly on the table, making a terrible clattering sound. Luckily, it didn’t seem to sustain any damage from the thoughtless throw.
As Seulgi eagerly watched the food being poured onto the plate, she reached out to snatch the fork still in Bingbing’s hand, gleeful laughter trailing from her mouth as she dumped herself in the closest seat to the steaming plate of food. “I want some rice too!” Seulgi said around a mouthful of food, atrociously void of manners as she ate, not even waiting until her host was seated before digging in with relish.
As Seulgi thought – the food was delicious, as expected from the work of her favorite toy. However, Seulgi’s thoughts soon travelled to much darker waters as she ate, eyes going dark at the as she dwelled on the previous realization that someone else ate Bingbing’s food.
The thought was unbearable, for some reason.
“Say, Bingbing~” Seulgi murmured around her fork, the words slightly slurred. As a tight grin split across her face, leaving Seulgi’s dark eyes free from mirth, she popped the fork out of her mouth with a satisfied ‘smack’ as she continued: “I saw you with a little…Daybreak friend yesterday. Who was that?”
And at the mere mention of Bingbing’s…friend, Seulgi’s finger itched with a desire for blood.

advjiyong:
[...]
Of course, he doesn’t move much faster. The girl’s still keeping up and eventually he turns with a straight up snarl. He hunches his shoulders- practically growling at the stranger. He’s not in the mood to deal with this but here he is none the less.
“Hey, hey, can I fuckin’ help you? I’ve been walkin’ for a bit an’ ya’ look like yer’ followin’ me so either cut it or tell me what’s up!”
Oh, how Seulgi loved the foundation.
Why yes, there was nothing else quite like it; especially when it came to those cute little mutants lined up like painted tin soldiers, obediently sequestered within the Foundation’s formidable walls. And oh, why don’t you take a look at all those dull expressions, those self-made shackles upon their own necks like little collars – they fear to exercise their powers and to wreak havoc, their weak little fingers yearning for the greater good –
Seulgi laughed. What naivete they have!
(And the wolf answered: “All the better for me to swallow you whole, my dear!”)
Seulgi was but a self-entitled child presented with a brand new toy, of course – one that was frustratingly encased by a layer of the seemingly indestructible glass that was the foundation. And so, all little Seulgi ever wanted to do was to rip and claw at the encasing until it broke beyond repair, so that she could reach in gleefully with her claws that were full of poison and disease; and play until her heart’s content: forcibly jerking their little limbs left and right, left and right; leaving deep nail marks into their diseased flesh, until they break irreversibly, their glossiness wearing off until the wood, the gaping flesh were all that remained.
And was that really too much to ask? Seulgi pouted as her fingers ached with something heavy and thick at the mere thought. There were so many mutants in the Foundation anyway, so what’s wrong with one or ten missing from time to time?
But try as she might, Seulgi was no match for the tight security of the Foundation, leaving her seething hopelessly at the periphery, lurking and circling again and again, to no avail. But when a little mutant exited to brave the cold, its form wrapped up in many, many layers like a belated Christmas gift, Seulgi never felt so pleased.
The most beautiful thing about hunting lie within the innocuous prey – they never know until it was too late; and wasn’t that just the most exhilarating thing?
And so the hunt begins – Seulgi trailed the little red-head figurine as they shuffled out of the Foundation. When their pace quickens – skittering through the snow like little herbivores – Seulgi came to the realization that they knew they were being followed. How? She didn’t know – but this prey was certainly more interesting than most – and Seulgi was determined to wry every last drop of ‘fun’ from this little toy.
“Hello there, cutie~” Seulgi sing-songed as she perched herself nearby, her face slashed with a smile full of vicious glee.
“Actually~ Now that you mention it; I have an itch that’s just begging to be scratched.” Seulgi giggled, the sound a little too high in pitch for it to be melodious. “Say, why don’t you help me with that, little mutant?”
Seulgi made her words no less innocuous as she circled him, her slef-assured steps teasing. And when she was sure that the little mutant had all of his hackles raised; she pounced, sure of her impending victory.

advsohye:
[…]
Boredom struck her, an idea immediately alighted on her head. Quickly open up her bag, take the pastel-colored notebook inside, and she starts to playing around with it. From some light gesture of changing its color, lift it around, until quietly sharpen it. Oh shit. Turns out it is a bad idea. The object nearly scratch someone and what the person is doing also deliver bad prejudice to her. She wants to say sorry, but something tells her to step away from this. Confuse, she decides to slowly take small step backward.
As Seulgi spun; her fingertips leaving glorious rot and disease in her wake, she never felt so free.
Yes, look at her now, standing tall, writhing human filth at her feet where they should be – wasn’t there beauty to behold within her inhumanity; her utter unrepentance and pure glee at the bloodshed borne out of her own creation? Can any of those mutants, those restrained, stone-faced tin soldiers from the Foundation say that they’ve done the same; that like her, they’ve left the rest of humanity behind, and in doing so, have ascended to something beyond?
The more humans she infected; the more she validated her existence; that she was worth so much more than those people who don’t care about anyone but themselves, and don’t you see? She’s hurting them because without a single smidge of doubt – they’ll do the same to her if they had the chance. So look at Seulgi now, look at her properly - cast off those trice damned self-imposed blindfolds and see with your previously blind eyes – why, Seulgi’s just paying those people in advance. She exists to hurt them because they want to hurt her back, and how is that wrong?
No, those humans lying at her feet don’t have abilities. They have no claws, no physical deformity, nothing that might strike your eye as something poised to hurt and maim. But nevertheless, they possess something just as potent and just as deadly – their poison lie within their words, their claws and fangs carefully concealed only to whip them out at the last second. They say with only their lips that they don’t want to kill, and that they hate bloodshed with all their hearts – but they lie. A young Seulgi had gazed upon their claws and fangs – and impaled by their ‘kind’ intentions and sweet lies; and Seulgi will not fall for it again.
Oh yes, Seulgi’s already burning within her sins, and yet she’s still standing strong as the hellfire burns her inside and out, leaving her soul black and charred. So watch me, all of you. Watch me as I destroy the dreamy, dull and worst of all – complacent purgatory that everyone seemed to be satisfied with. Let me show you what living is really about.
It’s a dog eat dog world, after all, and the only way to carve your place onto this Earth is through the branding of fear. So go on, lovely. Carve your presence into their eyes, imbuing into them their inferiority and into yourself superiority. Now, wouldn’t that feel so much better?
And so, as she gazed at the slight bleeding cut on her hand from a mysterious paper projectile, Seulgi could only grin. Looks like someone’s here to play the gallant hero; intended or not. Ah, but that’s more than okay, because mutants are always so much more fun to play with. And it just so happens that Seulgi’s in need of a cure for boredom.
“So come on then, let’s play, little girl~” Seulgi called out, delighting in the backwards step the girl took. “Why, are you afraid already? Aw that’s no fun – let’s save the crying for later, because the Game’s just about to begin – so why don’t you take out some more paper, hmmm?”
Yes, little mutant. Let’s play on this grand stage they call ‘life’.

advxhyeyeon:
[...]
She’s bad news, Yeonnie. She’ll have no problem killing you if she feels like it.
It took all she had to not literally sweat bullets, but just metaphorical ones. “Um, Park Kwang Soo, you said? D-Do you have some business with him?” She asked in a nervous, high-pitched voice just as the lights flickered a few times before falling into darkness.
“…Um.” Nervous laughter tumbled out of her pale lips.
Moments before the lights flickered and died, the round-faced girl had responded to Seulgi’s request with amusingly wide eyes and a nervously stuttering, high-pitched voice, as if she was deeply rooted in fear. And now, in the pitch darkness, Seulgi couldn’t help but to laugh delightedly at the little lamb’s unease, the tinkling sound echoing directionlessly in the dark, rendering the sound an almost omnipresent quality. Oh yes, Seulgi was sure that the girl was afraid of her for some reason, and whilst she had no idea why, nothing thrilled Seulgi more than the sight of delicious fear carving its brand on pretty features.
“Why yes~ Park Kwang soo - Old, wrinkly and thisss tall!” Seulgi gestured above her head cheerfully, even though the girl most likely wouldn’t be able to see it in the pitch darkness. Why, it seemed to Seulgi that a little lamb had wandered right onto the path of a wolf’s hunt, and got itself unwittingly and helplessly entangled in its scheming. And no, Seulgi was not about to let it get away and ruin all her plans. And so as Seulgi’s vision adjusted to the darkness, her pupils shrinking rapidly much like a cat’s would, she reached forward to place a light hand on the girl’s clothed shoulder, the action serving as both a warning and insurance that the girl will be able to stay with Seulgi for a little longer. Or at least until Seulgi was done with her, of course.
Whilst Seulgi could sense the girl’s wariness permeating into air like sickly poison, she loathed her inability to see the look of fear on the girl’s face. And alas, no matter how vivid her imagination may be; it will simply not suffice.
And so Seulgi lit her hands up with bioluminescent bacteria, its light only strong enough to illuminate the immediate surroundings with a faint, sickly green light. “But yes, now that you mention it; I do have a …bone to pick with him~” Seulgi giggled, holding a finger up to her lips as if to tell the other a secret, illuminating her hungry expression with green, akin to something out of a horror film. “But how…unfortunate that I’m stuck here with you instead, little lamb.”
“So~ I hope for your sake that the elevator will start working soon, because unfortunately, he seems to have forgotten our… appointment.” Seulgi leaned in whisper next to the girl’s ear, letting her underlying meaning seep into the girl’s mind like black, opaque ink seeping into a brand new sponge.
Oh yes, it’s an appointment for his death. He’s terribly late for it, I’m afraid.

advxsuji:
[...]
grabbing the other woman’s arm, suji twists it against her back and immediately pins her to the ground, caring very little about the impact. for a moment, she briefly considers leaving it as is. the job is done, she’s won and that’s that. but pettiness takes over, pushing her to dig her knee into their back for good measure. now the job is done.
the move is nothing impressive. she ( unfortunately ) lacks the strength to have her writhing in pain, or the knowledge to guarantee they won’t suddenly slip from her grasp and return an attack of their own. but the message has successfully been delivered: don’t mess with her.
“how do you like this poor little human girl now?” her voice soft yet firm, a smirk forming on her lips, “damn good, huh?”
damn good, indeed.
Perhaps if Seulgi had been more coherent, her mind free of the unyielding, bottomless depths of red fury and antagonism, she would have heard and actually processed the human girl’s taunts. Perhaps then she would have noticed and become wary of the girl’s defiant attitude towards such blatant hostility – perhaps.
Yes, perhaps Seulgi wouldn’t have lunged blindly as she did then, mindlessly aiming straight for the taller girl in a mess of limbs and tangled thoughts, with no thought for consequences; not even entertaining the simple notion of failure.
But alas, as it happens, Seulgi had never been very lucid in the first place, and at that moment, the feeling of her red hot fury eclipsed Seulgi’s mind, consuming what was left of her rationality with darkness.
And so instead; the sound of everything else faded into the background, burnt out by the red flames of her ire, leaving only the sight of the human girl and her annoyingly moving lips untouched, though if Seulgi had her way – it won’t be for long.
And as the scorching flames reached up to fuel Seulgi’s eyes with something close to madness, feeding her bared teeth with a craving for the taste of iron and the rot of disease, the feeling of her flesh scorching in response had Seulgi lunge furiously without thinking, reaching for girl without anything else in her mind other than blood.
Forget the businessman; however fun he would be. No, no, Seulgi would much rather teach this girl a lesson.
And indeed, he was already wiped off clean from her mind as instead; Seulgi wondered what the sound of the girl’s creams would sound like, writhing under the accumulation of rot and infection, melting the her flesh into grotesque pieces of art. Seulgi would bet it’d be glorious.
So when the girl took a step back, Seulgi misinterpreted that as fear. It had her lips stretching into a triumphant grin – so easy, and before Seulgi’s even touched her; how typical of a human – and fuel her complacent mind with the pleasure she so craved.
In a split second, Seulgi’s world was flipped upside down, her mind ransacked and leaving her bewildered. Instead of blood in her mouth and consuming all her senses; the taste of dirt and dust coated her tongue, leaving Seulgi spluttering from shock. The world sure looked unfittingly terrible from Seulgi’s place down on the floor, her face pressed onto the dirty ground, her clothed arm bent tightly and unyieldingly again her back.
Still in the throes of her fury, Seulgi immediately tried to throw the girl off, hissing and writhing like a wild animal. It was to no avail – Seulgi had never been one for strength, with her frail, skinny limbs and a tendency to forget to eat. But oh, was Seulgi regretting it now.
Was this girl a mutant? She must be, or how else could she have done this? But mutant or no, Seulgi wasn’t doing to be defeated so easily.
“Shut up!” Seulgi hissed, her voice biting and all sharp edges with the intention to cut. “Let me go, you stupid girl!”

advxyura:
The other’s reaction to her revelation didn’t surprise Ah Young. She wasn’t quite sure what was the origin of such animosity from Seulgi. It was true she always seemed very lonely in the orphanage, but Ah Young never dared to be a rude person to her. In matter of fact, she woul from time to time try socializing with the other, but there always something coming up that would prevent Ah Young from actually befriend Seulgi. That was the reason her actions and general posture were confusing the fox heavily. The orphanage had suffered some sort of attack and she survived. Shouldn’t she be glad to see someone from the past?
Feeling her arm being grabbed tightly, too tightly and it slightly hurt. “What are you doing?!” Trying to release from her finger knot, Ah Young was starting to get highly annoyed and even scared. The hatred in Seulgi’s eyes was unbelievable intense. Such gaze made her question the past, if Seulgi felt like this towards one person, could she… be the cause of the tragedy at the orphanage? No… it couldn’t be. And yet, she was a mutant, or a very skill being, otherwise she wasn’t here in the Foundation.
“Let go of me Seulgi!” Stepping back, the other wouldn’t release her and Ah Young had no other choice but also play that game. Small flame appeared within her other hand and she held Seulgi’s long enough to cause a small burn. “What’s wrong with you, seriously.”
Ahhh, will you look at that.
Under her unforgiving, vice-like grip, Seulgi could see and relish in the little testaments to Ah Young’s fear at her leisure; and oh, were they exquisite. Yes, Seulgi could even feel the captive Ah Young’s panic sizzle on her tongue like expensive champagne, its flavor complemented so perfectly by those beautiful dark fragments of distress in her wide, wide eyes. And oh yes, were they a pretty picture.
And oh – Seulgi could finally taste the iron in the air – perhaps from Ah Young’s blood, her distress – rendering the concoction so potent and heavy, like liquid sin sitting innocuously on her tongue, and as Seulgi swallowed the taste greedily, craving more –her glee painted Ah Young’s face in a funeral sheath of red.
But like a world renowned piece of art without a coat of varnish; the picture begun to fade under Seulgi’s desperate grasp, bit by bit, until Seulgi was left with the bitter, ashy taste of failure – Ah Young was still struggling under her grip, and her body was entirely void of Seulgi’s disease. With all the force of a freight train; Seulgi reached the impossible and frightful realization that Ah Young wasn’t getting sick.
But even so; Seulgi dug in her nails cruelly, desperately, deeper and deeper and deeper into Ah Young’s soft, tender flesh – willing, hoping, demanding Ah Young to fall sick, for her to fall into a spiral of pain and fear much like their peers from the orphanage – for her to kneel and cry at Seulgi’s feet –
But instead; panic and confusion started to vindictively wipe Seulgi’s image of superiority away like a water painting; and her only ability – her own personal kind of disease and curse had failed her, for the first time.
(So pray tell. What happens when one goes as far as to define themselves by their own ability; relish in the way their power cause disease and destruction… only for all that power to fail and stutter in the face of another mutant; leaving them entirely helpless?
Why, they break, of course.)
And so, as the heat behind their animosity reached new heights, culminating in the physical manifestation of a burn on Seulgi’s hands, courtesy of Ah Young; Seulgi could feel her control over the situation spiral downwards, and this scared her like nothing else ever did.
Seulgi hissed in alarm, withdrawing her hand in disbelief to find a blister forming there. Seulgi snarled. Those ears weren’t for show, then, hm?
“What’s wrong with me?” Seulgi parroted back, her breathless voice reedy and hysterical, a dark expression still etched on her face like carvings upon a gravestone. “Why, there’s nothing wrong with me, pwetty Ah Young.”
“No, the wrong lies with you and that prison they called the orphanage.” And here, Seulgi grinned, her eyes glinting with overflowing vehemence. “And guess what? Why don’t you do me a favor and die like they did? And yet…”
Blinded by both parts of fear and fury; Seulgi didn’t know who she was talking to anymore, her mind clouded by a haze of red. “How can you still stand there – completely immune?”

advjinah:
[...]
when she begins to leave the courtyard and down the pavement, outside the gates and the walls of safety, a neutral expression on her face—only for her expression to shift in incredulity when a pile of snow slams into her side, breaking and collapsing onto the ground. she blinks, slowly turning her head to look at the pile of snow, then to her sweater, darkened with the damp press of water, before directing her attention back at the girl. she raises her brows, lips curving into a frown before melting into a sneer.
“what the hell was that?” she snaps at the other when they turn to run, tongue poking against the inside of her cheek. shed glances around, noting the general vicinity away from the foundation they were. enough to not be noticed by the guards, but close enough to cause trouble if she were to get too out of hand. “oi! i’m talking to you. who do you think you are pelting people with snowballs?”
Christmas. A so-called happy season of giving and receiving, of memories made and family.
Seulgi sneered, her expression dark. How… foolish.
Well, guess what, Santa? What happens when you don’t have…family? When you don’t have anyone to validate your life with love and nurturing care; their very presence a boost to your will to live?
Yes, what happens when you’re not loved? When your life was cold and as bare as freshly fallen snow, stark and blinding to the eye, but not a single footprint to show for its measly and desolate existence?
So…why must Seulgi be the only one feeling this way? Why must everyone else be so gratingly happy, smiling as if they know no misfortune, whilst Seulgi alone cannot fathom the emotion that is ‘happiness’ and the supposedly ‘joyous’ season that is Christmas?
Well. Just like how God had a Lucifer, and Sherlock a Moriarty, if misfortune decided to stay her hand like the weak-hearted creature she was, Seulgi will be there to force it down, basking in the calamity that followed.
(Perhaps, only then will Seulgi finally feel something remotely close to ‘happiness’.)
And what better tool to do that than to spread glorious sickness to those mutants with sickeningly contented smiles, wiping it clean off their face to only replace it with wondrous suffering?
However, there was one problem: as Seulgi observed the considerable amount of security guards patrolling around the Foundation with gritted teeth, she knew that boldly going up to mutants and infecting them will do herself any favors. Well, no matter~ Seulgi bared her teeth in response. Unluckily for you; there are innumerable ways to make a person sick.
And that was how Seulgi found herself seated atop a tree branch, tossing relentless snowballs at one mutant after another, as she relished in the chaos that followed. Seulgi laughed at their nervous skittering, like playing with little ants under her feet.
This one though. This one’s different. There’s no happy expression on her face, her pale visage cold and snapping. And yet, her expression of surprise and resulting irritation was entertaining all the same.
This one. Seulgi decided. This little toy was going to be the one to make her happy. This will be the chosen toy that’ll entertain her the most, a perfectly wrapped and thoughtful gift from Santa for Seulgi’s very own gloriously degenerate Christmas.
(But somehow, Seulgi had seen this mutant before. Why was her mind ringing alarm bells off in the far distance?)
“Why, hello there, little mutant~” Seulgi drawled as she landed on the ground. As she showed all of her sharp teeth in a mockery of a grin, her gloved hand was tossing another snowball up and down, up and down. Finally, Seulgi stopped, her movements dark and biting as she tilted the snowball back, so that it could be thrown at the girl again.
“Why, I’m simply spreading some… Christmas spirit.”
And with that, Seulgi tilted her head back and laughed, the sound grating and ugly, like a dirty shoeprint trampling uncaringly over freshly fallen snow for the first time.
ice, ice, baby.
