i have something i have to confess to and apologize for.

my rules say that i’m 19 years old. i’m actually 16 years old, and i’ve been lying about how old i am since i joined the tumblr rpc in 2013.

my 12 year old self didn’t want to be seen as immature or childish online, so i aged myself up by three years and put it in my rules. i kept up the lie after out of anxiety after making friends that i was afraid of losing. that does not make it right at all, but i want to make it clear: i never did this with malicious intent, or intent to pass myself off as an adult in order to roleplay smut. i have never done that, and i never planned to. i lied in the first place in an attempt to seem “cooler” online, and then kept it up because i was scared. both of those were mistakes and i apologize deeply for them.

i’m not asking for or expecting any kind of forgiveness. i completely understand if anyone wants to unfollow or block me, and wish you all the best. thank you to everyone who reads this. 💕

if you could rb this esp if you’re non-muslim, it would be very appreciated. 

i’m always happy to see people supporting muslims. however, as the month of ramadan approaches, i’ve noticed a lot of the “nsfr (not safe for ramadan)” posts popping up. these are mainly made by white people, although some by muslims.

the whole point of ramadan is to be surrounded by food, water, swearing,(NSFW things are excluded from this post, those should be tagged) etc, and resisting the temptation to participate in anything. ramadan is about recognizing what we take for granted everyday and learning to appreciate it. we mindlessly feed our bodies food we don’t necessarily need everyday. to be able to let yourself be thirsty and hungry gives an insight to those who live like that daily, with no end to it. they do not get to just wait until the sun goes down to be able to eat a big meal surrounded by family. they continue to be hungry, regardless of what time of day it is. it reminds us of the struggles that poor and/or homeless people face. 

the point of fasting is to submit to Allah for as long as humanly possible, which is from dawn to dusk. fasting is indeed incredibly hard, that is true. seeing water when i fast is very difficult for me. however, people in countries who mass celebrate ramadan, go to work in the 100+ degree F weather, the kids at school don’t stop fasting just because they’re in school, etc. it’s slightly offensive that these posts are made “uwu!! be safe!! it’s hot out!!! don’t let yourself pass out!!!im tagging everything i can!!! uwu!!!” because most of those posts are made by people asking for notes rather than those who actually care about muslims. 

i’m going to wrap this up because it’s long, but please, don’t treat muslims like babies. we are mostly capable of seeing such things you guys tag during ramadan and not being affected. if you DO reblog posts about NSFR things, please do so FROM AN ACTUAL MUSLIM.

Now to start, I can’t tolerate vaguing. I have tried. I wanted to be tolerant, I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, I wanted to believe it was anxiety, I wanted to believe you were just stressed, I tried so hard to believe there was a good excuse. Hell, for a time I wanted to believe it was my fault. But now I can’t, I’m sorry, you went too far, maybe we waited too long to try to stop you, I don’t care.

Guys, don’t vague, if you get nothing else from this DO NOT VAGUE. There is no reason, there is no excuse, there is no justification. You will hurt people, you will hurt their friendships, you will cause misunderstandings and in this case it was done entirely out of ignorance.

transphobia in the rpc

hey you know what i’m tired of? casual transphobia in the rpc. i’m tired of cisbends, r!63, and outright trans fetishism being ignored or brushed under the rug. im tired of actors n fcs who are actively transphobic being used. im tired of cis men playing trans women and cis women playing trans men in acting roles too, but there’s not much i can do about that.

what i can do is say that if you are cis and you write or interact with people who rp genderbends, cisswaps, or ‘rule 63′ blogs you are actively contributing to transphobia in the rpc. if you support or interact with disgusting blogs like @thefalsefemales who are not only transphobic & transmisogynistic but lesbophobic as well, you are actively upholding transphobia in the rpc. 

cis people need to do better. you need to stop and listen to trans voices. 

here’s some other stuff besides outright r63/genderbend/cisswap stuff that is transphobic:

using cis men as fcs for trans women, or using cis women as fcs for trans men

having a trans verse or alternate universe but having your main verse for your muse be cisgender

actively discouraging trans people from writing their muses as trans 

writing trans muses specifically for fetishized porn 

not listening to trans people when we tell you things are transphobic, or citing your one (1) trans friend who agrees with you as an excuse for your behavior or your verses

writing cis male or cis female instead of cis man or cis woman in your bio for your muse. it’s fine that theyre cis but male/female generally reeks of transphobia unless in certain contexts

writing ‘transman’ and ‘transwoman’ as one word. they arent nouns, trans is an adjective. write ‘trans man’ or ‘trans woman’

using transphobic and transmisogynistic actors as fcs such as matt bomer, lena dunham, eddie redmayne, etc. 

other trans people are free to add on or discuss. cis people can reblog and are encouraged to but please do not add any commentary.
