As per Thomas’ tweet, he has a new and improved model coming next

Honestly the thing about Adrien’s s6 model that feels so odd to look at is that he LOOKS like he’s in an awkward transitional period. He LOOKS like he kind of doesn’t really know what to do with himself so his hair grew out a bit and he let it just get limp on his head because he’s paralyzed with indecision on what to do with it. He LOOKS like he awkwardly stands out among his friends who all got new styles and changed their appearances while he’s still awkwardly stuck in the past. He looks so much like how he did before but Not Quite, and that’s unsettling when every other character simply looks new. So while I can’t help but feel like something is Off every time I look at him, I’m also like… yeah. Yeah, that actually fits him perfectly for where he is right now. Trapped in a new situation that he doesn’t know how to navigate while his past haunts him. Trapped not knowing a single thing about himself while all his other friends move on.

Hey so uh. Have I posted this yet? MLP x Coraline I drew as a Christmas gift for an irl (I also printed it and turned it into a shirt, should I sell this?)

I was wondering if his… strange out-of-place was was intentional. An irl pointed out even his lighting isn’t as good as other characters. I noticed he isn’t as animated as everyone else, which reminds me of the visual storytelling in Spiderverse where different characters had different frame rates. He contrasts Marinette perfectly as she moves very loudly and very often, and his movements are slow and small. It makes him look like an unfinished model altogether

It’s his first time wearing his own rings, his first time being in control of himself and his first task is… to face being an orphan and dating for the first time? He hasn’t had time to think about himself, he doesn’t know how to act in public, he’s an emotional mess!

I want there to be a scene in the future where we finally see his living situation, and he’s just. Horrible. His room is a mess, he’s lazy, he isn’t taking care of himself. Everything in public is just a front. A stale, plastic front. It’s the one thing he knows how to do best

Not only would this make sense for storytelling, but it means we’ll probably get a new and improved model down the line… if this isn’t the final Adrien, then they wouldn’t put as much budget into him
