Vetal Tekdi (ARAI HILLS) Exploration - Pune
Vetal Hill is the highest hill in Pune district with an altitude of 2600 feet. The temple located on the top of the hill is of Goddess Vetala after which the mountain was named. However, during monsoon the terrain is slippery and well fogged making trekking difficult. Vetal hill is protected by the India Forestry Department. Many species of flora and fauna is found which makes the mini trek intresting. The view at the top of the hill gives us a beautiful panorama of Pune city. The early morning trek serves a great motivation as many people come for exercise and meditation.

Rappelling at Devkund Waterfalls (Plus Valley )
Sunday, January 24, 2016. Devkund - "The bathtub of Gods and Goddesses". The New Year 2016 started with Plus valley Rappelling to Devkund waterfall(500 feet), 2nd Patch : 250Ft and 300 ft. The Devkund waterfall is located inside the dense forest near a small village called ‘Bhira’ which is one of the virgin places with crystal clear water. The waterfall is a confluence of three waterfalls which is said to be the origin of Kundalika river. The trek is from base village along the dam backwater and through forest to reach this place known as ‘Devkund’ where one would bask in the lush greenery and explore the waterfall . We started trek from Dongarwadi Village in Miraj (Sangli) Maharashtra and ends at Bhira village which lies approx 150 kms from Mumbai. The crystal clear blue waters make the beauty of the waterfall unrealistic, a great trek as you climb the steep slopes of the mountains. The trek after the rappelling took 2 Hours to reach the village and the overall way was easy and a bit slippery at the area along river with a mesmerizing view of sunset. This first thrilling rappelling experience was worth the efforts and a must experience which everyone should try! Difficulty level - Medium Ideal Time to visit - After monsoon / Early winter. Trekking Group : Sahyadri Trekkers foundation.
Thank you Surendra Dugad , Bhushan Jain, Rakesh Jain.

How often do we stop and take a few minutes to appreciate the blessings we receive in disguise no matter how small they may be; How often do we appreciate the little things people do for us; express gratitude towards our family, close friends and every single person who has helped us in our adversity ; How often do we realize that if we'd be grateful for all these.. our life would be much more beautiful! 💕✌💯 #livelifelikeabucketlist
