Post 11: Fit-bit
As you go around shopping you will start to notice fit-bit’s are starting to sell at many locations. Fit bit falls under the exclusive distribution in my eyes. I mean yes they do have a lot of stores that carry their products now. But still, fit bit has posted a list of locations that they ONLY sell to. Such as Target, Amazon, Macy's, Nordstrom, Wallmart, and Costco. They mostly deliver out to department stores and stay loyal to them and for sure stray far away from drugstores and convenience stores. They strongly emphasize how they do not distribute used items and to be careful because people have been selling fakes. Because they have been distributing to a lot of stores more recently some might say that fit bit lies a little in the in-between side in selective distribution.

Post 10: Fit-bit
With Fitbit having such a variety of fit bands its sort of hard to complain about the price. The overall sacrifice the consumer is willing to make greatly depends on how they intend to use the fit-bit. some people only need to count steps, like me. Others, on the other hand, need a smartwatch to text and go online. In America at least, people have been spending so much money on fit bands but that means more competition. With all of the companies releasing fit bands, it leaves fit bit to a price war. Leaving fit bit pricing to stay very elastic in the market. Another threat that fit bit has to face is that the internet on the smartwatch fit bit has recently released has been facing many issues and the customers are not happy about that. The demand curve for the fit bit lately has been relatively small. With all of these complaints, the fit bit has no choice but to stand in the market position as a sales orientation strategy.

Fit-bit is a very interesting company because its only other service is its online app and over the phone customer service. Since this is an intangible service, these kinds of services could be harder to market than a physical object. Fit-bit is sadly not doing the very best in the service quality. I was going over some of the customer reviews and the voice-of-customer was not so great. I myself own a fit-bit and am very pleased with the service that I wear on my wrist every day and aswell with the very easy to function app.

Post 8 : Fit-bit
Fit-bit continues to display some of the most beautiful fit bands in the market right now! The competition for fitness in America is tough right now, so companies are striving for a bigger product breadth. What more could fit-bit do to increase products within a company, perhaps look toward other products that reach core customer value? The product depth for fit-bit is astounding and displays some of the best looking fit bands on the market. With other brands starting to make their own fit bands, what could fit-bit do to increase brand awareness? Maybe in the near future, we could possibly see fit-bit open up their own retail/store brand or an increase in the breadth. The fit band is quickly becoming the new trend in our society.

Fitbit has a super silky texture to their packaging, very appealing to consumers. they even display the watch through the plastic people actually know what they are getting. Fitbit also does one to one marketing with their customization opportunities, The package could add some more colors to help bring demographics to their product. Fitbit could have thought of more broader ideas when making the shape of the package, maybe make it look more fun. During their marketing plan phase, more brainstorming could have been thought through.

Just recently other brands have been trying to do what Fitbit has been doing, rather trying to add more value to other peoples lives. These companies are Garmin, Apple, Xaimoi, and Samsung. Even tho there are so many competitors, Fitbit remains one of the leading sellers and maintains a high rank in their market positioning. When it comes down to whos watch will win the general vote, it's going to be up to their product excellence! One thing that Fitbit did to really stand out was to add a freemium app so all the consumers could track their data and even challenge their friend's to a number of steps per day. Some competition never hurt anybody especially when it comes down to everyday fitness.

Post 5: Fit-bit
Fitbit has been changing their target marketing quite a bit lately. With their sales dropping around 19% in one year, Fitbit struggles to find their target marketing strategy. The reason for the loss of sales could be multiple reasons but for sure the microenvironmental factors take part in it. What I do enjoy that Fitbit includes is the culture behind their whole story. The Demographic Fitbit aims to sell to is women and men through ages 22-28. Fitbits mission statement aims directly to people who are concerned for only fitness, but could Fitbit find a way to target other consumers?

Post 4: Fit-bit
Strengths:
1. Many different designs
2. Freemium app
3. Easy to use
4. No financial risk
Weaknesses:
1. Value proposition
2. Geographic Segmentation
3. Gaining the trust of new consumers
Opportunities:
1. More customizations
2. Reach older demographics
Threats:
1. Others such as apple are investing in making their won fit bands
2. The other fit bands include more variety in social media fit band apps than Fitbit
3. Technology is moving at a faster pace than Fitbit can keep up with
My Recommendations for management:
1.  Recreate their marketing mix to broaden their ideas
2. Figure out more specifically their segmentation

Post 3: Fit-bit
When it comes to fit bands in general, we all know that they can be a bit pricey. Fitbit has such a wide range of prices in their products that they eliminate other competitors by a long shot with Fitbit's starting at $80 and topping out at $300. This leaves the consumers with some to very little financial risk in purchasing a Fitbit band and fits in everybody budget. People love Fitbit’s light and slick design, making it easy to fit everybody and anybody's lifestyle. I myself have fallen in love with the Fitbit design and any consumer should not fear any psychological risk in purchasing a Fitbit band. Since we're on the topic of risk, I’ve had the same Fitbit for over 2 years and no performance risk here. Verry durable and lasting band leaving consumers with no negative word of mouth.

Post 2: Fitbit is a leading company in fitness wearables. It provides a health and wellness service to consumers who are tracking their daily movement, daily calorie intake, as well as sleep patterns.
Fitbit reported revenue of 353.3 million dollars in a year 2017 which is a dramatic decrease from the prior year 2016 which raked in 1,091.9 million due to increased competition from other brands such as Apple and Nike fit bands.
The company has participated in product development strategy by creating sleeker looking products that target the needs of modern and stylish consumers concerned with their health. Fitbit is located in San Francisco, CA, a city known for technological advances.
Fitbit thrives in today's modern culture, where sound body and sound mind are values held by its target consumers. It engages in corporate social responsibility through a program called Fit for Good in which the company promises to donate in total 1 million dollars to three organizations every year, The American Diabetes Association, The American Heart Association, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society based on how many steps the participants can gather under their organization.
Fitbits mission is “To empower and inspire you to live a healthier, more active life. We design products and experiences that fit seamlessly into your life so you can achieve your health and fitness goals, whatever they may be.”

Post 1: Fitbit
Fit bit is by far one of the most dominant companies when it comes to healthy lifestyles and exercise! I personally have fallen in love with the design, comfort, and convenience of the Fitbit band. Fitbit continues to release new bands and the company is just thriving for more business as displayed in their mission statment  “people lead healthier, more active lives by empowering them with data, inspiration, and guidance to reach their goals." Fit aims to achieve product excellence and customer excellence with amazing products and amazing phone customer service, which I have experienced myself. I can see that Fitbit has made a very clear market plan for their success and their target market through social media is excellent!
