Convert Your Physical Bullion into Cryptocurrency
Converting your physical bullion into your desired crypto currency is a straightforward process that can be managed by Adams Bullion and its strategic cryptocurrency partner Stormrake. The basic elements of the process are as follows:
Step 1 — An investor who owns physical bullion approaches Adams Bullion (irrespective whether they are an existing customer or not) and indicates their intention to convert their physical bullion into cryptocurrency.
Step 2 — The investor presents their physical bullion to Adams Bullion (which will be manually checked for weight and purity) and then locks in a sales order at a specific price.
Step 3 — Adams Bullion will immediately make contact with Stormrake indicating that an investor has a specific amount of capital available to acquire various cryptocurrencies.
Step 4 — Stormrake will make contact with the investor and onboard them to their customer management platform.
Step 5 — Once onboarded, the client will place an order via Stormrake for a certain quantity of cryptocurrency.
Step 6 — Once the crypto currency purchase order has been locked in, Adams Bullion will transfer the investor capital resulting from the physical bullion to Stormrake to settle the purchase transaction. At this point, the investor obtains legal ownership of cryptocurrency assets.
Step 7 — The investor elects as to whether they wish for Stormrake to hold the cryptocurrency via their cold storage wallet or that the investor holds the cryptocurrency via their own privately nominated wallet.

Introduction to precious metals
Gold and silver have had a 5,000-year history as money, holding their value and standing the test of time‑independently valued by cultures across the world, without ever meeting each other to discuss it. As “hard assets”, they hold no counterparty risk and unlike money in the bank, they are nobody else’s liability. They are scarce in nature (therefore, have “intrinsic value”), with governments being unable to print them.
Some investors like precious metals because they are a “safe haven” asset. They are generally uncorrelated to share markets, with gold being called the “fear metal”. In the 5 worst years on the ASX, shares declined an average of 23.2% each year, with gold rising an average of 29% each year. This inverse correlation allows share market investors to diversify their portfolios with precious metals exposure, reducing overall portfolio risk in doing so.
Others like precious metals because they are a “hedge” against inflation, meaning that during periods of high inflation, precious metals generally perform very well. During the last period of double-digit inflation in the USA, the 1970s, gold went from $35 USD per ounce in 1971 to $850 USD per ounce in 1980, a 24x increase in a decade during which the share market moved sideways. Silver outperformed gold during this same time, going from $1.30 USD per ounce in 1971 to just under $50 per ounce in 1980, a 38x increase.

2024 Perth Mint Gold Lunar Dragon Coin 1/10oz
Tumblr media
These magnificent gold coins celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the fifth of twelve animals associated with the ancient Chinese lunar calendar. Those born under the sign of the Chinese Lunar Dragon in 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976 and every 12th preceding year, are said to be ambitious, successful, and charismatic.
No mintage limit applies to the 10oz, 2oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, and 1/20oz coins. However, production will close at the end of 2024 when The Perth Mint will declare each coin’s official mintage.
Meticulously struck from 99.99% pure gold, the coins are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
*Please Note: The 10oz gold, 2oz gold, 1/2oz gold and 1/20oz gold coins will not be available at launch and cannot be sold. The Perth Mint will advise when these coins are available for sale.

Self-Managed Super Funds
Adams Bullion is proud to assist our clients in diversifying their SMSF holdings with physical precious metals. Below you will find useful information on how to do so with us.
Introduction to Gold and Silver in your SMSF
As the main vehicle for saving and investing for the vast majority of Australians, superannuation is incredibly important with most considering it to be their sole means of support in their retirement.
Given this diversification of superannuation assets is critical, especially given the current economic and financial state of the world.
Balancing your portfolio through diversification of assets that are not correlated to each other is the basis of portfolio theory, with the goal of reducing the overall risk of a portfolio. Shares and property are known to be correlated (they move upwards together and crash together too), whereas gold is known as a “safe haven” asset, meaning that people flock towards it in times of fear, sending the price upwards. It is historically uncorrelated to other asset classes, as is shown in the table showing stock market returns versus gold returns during stock market crashes in our Investor Centre.
By allocating a percentage of your Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) into physical precious metals, you are balancing your portfolio (and its risk), whilst reducing counterparty and systemic risk as well.
