I get a lot of asks about highlighters and smudging, so I thought I would just talk abt it here! I almost always do my notes with muji’s 0.38mm black gel pen on loose leaf and then I wait for it to dry (~30min) and highlight with mildliners or stabilo highlighters, and there’s no smudge 😀 (Alternatively, pigma microns r rlly good for no smudge if you don’t want to wait)

Eu tô aprendendo algo pela primeira vez aos 21 anos. Sempre fui considerada uma aluna de destaque na escola, sempre tirei notas boas, estudar era quase que uma atividade natural pra mim, nunca tive muita dificuldade com nada. Quando entrei na faculdade, tomei um baque com os conteúdos novos, os professores desinteressados, os materiais confusos, basicamente, o sistema todo. Passei a ter muita dificuldade, não conseguia estudar e aprender nem o mínimo. Foi nesse processo que percebi que, durante toda a minha vida, eu só era excelente na escola porque tive a oportunidade de aprender com facilidade e gradualmente crescer no nível de complexidade dos conteúdos escolares. Em outras palavras, eu só era boa naquilo porque sempre foi simples, fácil e confortável pra mim. Eu nunca tentei aprender outras coisas. Um instrumento musical, uma terceira língua, um esporte, uma habilidade artística, um hobby. Nunca aprendi nenhuma dessas coisas porque começar uma coisa nova era desconfortável. Olhar e não conseguir entender era chato. Começar algo do zero, sentir dificuldade, tentar algo novo, persistir até quebrar essa barreira, errar e aprender com os meus erros. Tudo isso era desconfortável. No final, eu descobri que a aluna exemplar não era tão genial assim, na verdade, ela tinha medo de aprender e viver tantas outras coisas que acabou perdendo muitas oportunidades.
