i actually never ever want AO3 to be censored bc nothing is more fun than reading the tags on a fic and going “huh. didn’t know there was a market for that.”

i personally need to be better about this as well but, it’s a good idea to internalize that you can explore the same themes and elements in ur art as much as u want. to re-do the same piece over and over again to test out different techniques or approach it in another way. make art for the love of the game and don’t shelve an idea because your “”skill level”” isn’t at some imaginary ideal u have in ur head because not to get existential about it but like u will never BE at that ideal in ur head anyway so just have fun with it.

one of the funnier parts of having online friends is when they casually reference something that seems weird as hell from your perspective and you have to go "okay so is this like a reigional/cultural difference or is your specific life experience just insane"
