I'm still taking time away from here for the most part with the occasional checking in here and there, which is especially appreciated since I've been mostly doing so to take care of my mental health as that hasn't been the greatest since the year has started. However, I was finally able to continue my sessions with my therapist and psychiatrist again, so I'm hoping that they'll keep helping like they did in the past.

My hiatus will continue since I'm going to be starting my meds back up again and need time to adjust to those again, but I'm hoping that I can return here sooner rather than later.

As always, everyone's continued patience means the world to me and I'd like to thank y'all for continuing to stick around. ♡♡♡ Hopefully I'll be able to return in fighting form soon! I hope that everyone has been well, too!

While I'm still taking time to recover from getting sick over the weekend (thankfully, I'm feeling better) as well as getting things situated to get my mental health progress back on track, I wanted to acknowledge the apology that Star / Usa wrote earlier today.

Personally, it's a step in the right direction, and am glad to see that she's taking accountability for her actions that hurt so many people with her lies as well as providing a platform for Loke in the process. While I'm not all that keen on establishing a connection with her because of the amount of hurt she's caused others, I wanted to at least say that I appreciate the effort being made here and that I accept her apology.

That being said, I've since removed her from my DNI (which will be reflected when I can renew my carrd plan!) However, the previously named individuals in there (Loke, Damon, Zero / Kign Typo, Hearty, Shannon / Pink, Miles, and Autumn/Jewel) will remain indefinitely.

WHERE IN THE WORLD HAS DECADE BEEN?

fantastic question, really!

to make a long story short: florida's systems to renew one's medicaid are fucked. my mom's medicaid renewal was due in february and i accidentally submitted her application a few days late, which in their eyes was considered untimely and although i asked for them to expedite her application, they made us wait the full thirty days for it to be approved, even though i was on them pretty hard to actually get it approved faster.

last week saturday is when it was finally approved and i've been busy getting things set back up for my mom as far as her needs are concerned.

as for myself, i've been trying to take care of my own health, however that's been an uphill battle lately since i currently don't have any means of reliable transportation to take myself to appointments and uber / lyft is expensive. i'm hoping, though, that my car troubles will be fixed shortly, though, so that i can try to get out of my house more often.

i know i tend to say it a lot, but i really appreciate everyone's patience while i've been trying to get things back on track. roleplay / tumblr has admittedly taken a backseat as far as priorities are concerned, however i'm hoping that i can make a return here soon when things finally calm down.

it still doesn't feel real regarding what happened re: akira toriyama. seeing the sort of influence he had on various mangaka, like oda, kishimoto, kubo, among countless others and then what his works did for people like me back in the day when i was a kid still getting my toes wet into the big world of anime. dbz was such a huge part of my childhood growing up where i have vivid memories of trying to get home as quickly as possible after school so that i could watch it on toonami, and like, you bet i was one of those nerds who would stand up when goku asked for your help to create the spirit bomb and imitate the kamehameha, too.

that, and i'll admit that i've taken inspiration from dbz when creating hikaru and her world, too, which i cannot thank toriyama enough for to inspire me to create my own story of a hero who fights for the greater good of all of humanity with a smile on her face. ♥

Hey hello , Nya-mun here, had to log in real quick on mobile to check & make sure the "Prevent Third Party access to your content" was on. Regardless I will probably be deleting my art posts from here &/or replacing/reposting with Glazed versions. Reasoning? Well if you haven't heard, Tumblr is partnering with A/I companies & planning to trade our content for their models for money. Thats bad! While there is a prevent option, theres an article that insinuates that our content has already been sold & trained prior to the setting be implemented today. I would implore y'all, especially artists, to promptly glaze & nightshade your works from now on. I dont just mean art though, icons, banners, promos, edits, etc. everything that requires you to upload a file from your computer or img sharing site.

The only slight problem with glaze & nightshade is that to run on your computer, you need to meet specific parameters. While Glaze has a web version (sign up here), nightshade does not. Unfortunately for me, I cannot use Nightshade because I do not have an Nvidia graphics card that is required to be able to use both Glaze & Nightshade as programs.

I'm sorry that this is happening but we gotra protect ourselves best we can. I don't know how much longer I'll be on here, I'm barely active no thanks to IRL but I love being here & I love all you guys. Protect Your Stuff ! 💜

legitimately wanted this mount / title combo ( firebird / tamer of the undying flame ) on hikaru for the longest while, and thanks to a very helpful lalafell on aether who helped me out with bismarck, sophia, and sephirot, I was able to finally get one of my most coveted mounts on my girl! ;w;

that being said, i've recently gotten back into playing ffxiv and i still can't get over the kindness and generosity of this one person had to mash together two scale mods for me so that i can finally have hikaru in all of her ethereal cosmic beauty in game. ;w;
