It had been a while since you've tried to accept that your three best friends were basically gone. You had been thinking of them almost all the time. And in hindsight you saw that your friendship wasn't really all the great. The hardest part for you was accepting that you'll probably never get to fix that friendship with them.

If they were to come back.. You thought for a moment before remembering that they're most likely gone for a good.

You were at the grocery store getting some snacks for the following week, nothing to much.

You had paid for your snacks and walked out the store, it wasn't far from your house so you decided to not use your scooter.

You were on your phone while walking which was already stupid enough, but of course you had bumped into someone causing you fall on the concrete sidewalk.

"oh god, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-" you stopped as you turned up to see your best friend, Anne Boonchuy standing in front of you. And next to her were huge frogs??

"Oh, oh, haha, my god, I've finally lost it haven't I?" You laughed, Anne seemed in too much shock to even say anything, you saw tears start to form in the corner of her eyes.

"Y/N?" Anne whispered, before pulling you into a hug.

You stood there for a second, and that's when it clicked that this was real, she was real. This is when you started tearing up and hugged back.

The two of you stood there for a few minutes just sobbing, you didn't get any strange looks from anyone besides THE GIANT FROGS, but you were to happy to care.

You two finally let go as you placed your hands on Anne's shoulders. "Anne- your back?"

"Yeah, yeah I am." She nodded still slight tearing up, but she was happy, and you were happy.

"You have so much explaining to do." You laughed as you let her go.

"I know, and I will, but I need to go to my parents." Anne agreed.

"Oh my god, your parents, they're gonna be so happy, of course go, you have my contact right?"

"Wait, no, can you come with me? Please?" Anne asked, as she grabbed my hand.

"Of course." You smiled gently.

"So uh, you gonna introduce us or-"

"WAIT I RECOGNIZE YOU!" You saw a pink frog jump up from the corner of your vision.

"Oh right! Y/N these are the Plantars, Plantars, my best friend, Y/N!" Anne introduced, you waved at the frogs who hesitantly waved back.

"That's Hop-pop, Sprig, and Polly!" She motioned to each of them.

"How do we know we can trust her?" Sprig questioned.

"Yeah, what if she also completely back stabs you, and betrays us!" Polly chimed in.

"I'm sorry- what? Why would I do that?" You asked, you then turned to Anne, who you noticed was now squeezing your hand.

"Anne?" You asked, you looked up to face you, "uhm- my hand-" you chuckled.

"oh! Sorry!" She apologized and then let go, you could tell something was bothering her.

"Hey, let's get to your parents!" You smiled. As the five of you started walking.

You were sat on Anne's couch after she had explained the whole thing, basically you were right.

They did get transported to another world, but who knew all of that had gone down. Anne's parents wanted to give the Plantars to the government but eventually they agreed they could stay.

But now they were on lock down. Anne walked up to you. "Heyyyy, uhm so I actually have to talk to you.." Anne started.

"Oh yeah sure, I'm all ears." You grinned.

"But not here, let's take the Plantars to my room! So they can see how cool it is!" She spoke really loudly on the last two parts.

"Cmon!" She grabbed you hand and pull you along.

"WOAH OKAY I'M GOING THIS WAY-" you reacted, noticing she had gotten way stronger now.

"So wait, I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time understanding, Marcy knew about the music box beforehand?" You wondered.

"Yeah, that's not all though, she still planned to use it to take us to more worlds." Anne quietly spoke. You could believe what you were hearing.

"Okay, okay, so what happened afterwards? The king Newt person is evil? Right?" You asked. She nodded.

"Uhm, yeah, we all teamed up, during that. And Andrias kinda threw Sprig out the window, which also activated some crazy blue powers I didn't know I had!" Anne explained.

"WHAT? How did we go from, oh my best friend betrayed me, to powers?!" You were still processing all that Anne had told you.

"There's uhm, one more thing through." You noticed the tone in her voice change. You immediately put your serious face on and nodded to her. "Marcy, she, uhm, she-" that's when Anne started sobbing, just full on sobbing.

"Hey- it's okay, you don't have to tell me." You comfort as you pulled her into a hug.

"No, Y/N, he stabbed her, straight through the heart." She continued to cry out, this is when you felt tears start to form in your eyes. As you two sat there crying, on her bed.

"We're gonna get them back, I promise"

Platonic Reader x Calamity trio playing Minecraft!!! Reader uses they/them! (Swears involved!)

You had spawned onto a hill full of oak trees, patiently waiting for your friends to join you.

"Really an oak forest?" You heard Sasha say from behind you. You turned to face her.

"I genuinely don't get your problem oak? Like what about it do you hate?" Marcy asked, as she began to punch the tree in front of her.

"I cannot believe they're arguing about fucking Minecraft wood." You heard Anne speak as she already had a crafting table. You looked at her stunned and looked around quickly.

"H-how did you-"

"Magic" she smirked as she handed you a wooden pickaxe. She made her way to her two bickering friends.

"Okay, lovely conversation we're having here, but uhm, let's just agree to disagree, but agree that Acacia wood is super ugly." Anne spoke.

"Oh yeah I can work with that."

"It goes with literally nothing!"

You laughed as you heard your friends, as you continued mining.

"Okay the house is done!" Anne called out to her friends.

"Alright! I got a good amount of iron and a few diamonds!" You beamed, proud of your accomplishment.

"Oh! We can use the diamonds to make an enchantment table!!" Sasha added. "By the way they portal is finished!"

"Got a bunch of animals and crops planted! This game is so easy, heh."

We all ran back to the now finished oak/Birchwood house, yes Birchwood because Sasha is stubborn. We then started to place things around the house.

"Anne why did you only add one room?" Marcy asked as she went upstairs.

"Uh, I don't know, just felt right?" Anne sounded more like she questioned herself.

"OMG guys we can put our Minecraft beds next to each other..." Sasha giggled. As she place three beds together. She turned to me.

"Alright guys, was nice having you all as roommate's but I'ma sleep with the animals." I tried to walk out but immediately got shot by a skeleton. I rushed back in and slammed the door.

"Cmon Y/N there's nothing wrong with sleeping with the homies!" Marcy tried to contain her laughter.

"Platonically place your Minecraft bed next to ours." Anne joked, after wheezing.

"Bruh, why am I friends with you guys." I mumbled as I placed my bed down.

"OH GOD THE PIGLINS!! I'VE ANGERED THE PIGLINS!!!" Marcy ran into a corner and then barricaded herself.

"That's what you get for not being carful- OH I FOUND THE FORTRESS!" Anne yelled to her friends while she started to build up.

"Wait!" You heard Sasha call out. You and Anne turned around to see her running back to where Marcy was, now seeing about ten piglins. "Marcy just let them kill you, we can put your stuff in a  chest!" Sasha suggested.

"But I have a lot of XP..." Marcy muttered.

"We can make you a XP farm!" Anne added, trying to convince their friend.

"Cmon Mar-Mar! It's like a sacrifice!" Sasha laughed.

"Sacrifice, Sacrifice, Sacrifice!" You heard Anne chant. Soon Sasha join her in the chanting.

"If you guys think I'm gonna give into peer pressure you're greatly mistaken!!" Marcy told the two. "Cmon Y/N, their crazy right?" She asked you.

You shrugged as you looked at the two chanting they were crouching and jumping around you. You smirked, "Sacrifice, Sacrifice, Sacrifice!" You joined in.

"Y/N!!"

"Alright, this is it." You heard Anne say as she placed a bed in the stronghold.

"This could be the most important mission of our lives.." Marcy added in as she started to add the ender eyes.

"Guys this is a block game." Sasha added in.

"Shut up Sasha." You said to her blankly.

"Yeah, shut up Sasha" Marcy giggled.

Sasha deadpanned before grinning and playfully rolling her eyes.

"Alright everyone set your spawn." Anne said to us. We all took turns setting our spawn as Marcy put in the final eye.

The portal lit up as we all looked at each other.

"Y/N GO!" Sasha punched me as I fell into the portal.

"AH- SASH-" I yelped as I traveled through dimensions. I landed on an obsidian platform.

I stood up as the three soon followed. I turned to Sasha and glared at her.

"I'm sorry! It was funny!" She squeaked back.

"Whatever let's just kill this dumb dragon." You went on and started mining the end stone. As the four of you mined out, you finally came out and saw the dragon.

"Alright, Marcy and Y/N get the crystals, while Sasha and I hit the dragon!" Anne called out. The four of you nodded as you all sperated.

"Okay I'll get these five while you get the other." Marcy explained to you as you nodded in agreement. You got out your bow and arrow and aimed for the first crystal.

Boom, one shot you got it. You got the other two that were in the open, those were the easiest. Okay now for the ones in the cages.. You thought.

You ran to get a good view of the other crystals, you felt your hands shake as you took a deep breath and released the arrow. You got the hit.

You smiled, and turned around to get the last one, you saw Marcy next to you.

"Last one together?" She asked you. You nodded as you two aimed for the shot.

"3, 2, 1!" You announced as you two shot the crystal, you turned to each other and cheered.

"Nice going! Now let's kill this Dragon!" Sasha complimented. The two of you ran as you both shot the dragon as it flew around.

It then came down, you all grabbed your swords and started hitting.

Then it got it's final blow.

"LET'S GOOOO!!!" Anne cheered as she threw her arms up in the air.

"WAIT DID YOU GET THE ACHIEVEMENT?"

"HAH YEAH! SUCK IT SASHA!" She gloated.

"Heh, suck deez nu-"

"LOOK AT ALL THIS XP!" Marcy cut Sasha off, as you laughed.

"WE DID IT!" you beamed, as you pulled the three into a hug.

"Hey Y/N!" You heard a familiar voice greet you. You turned to see one of your best friends!

"Marcy! How have ya been?" You asked her, she sat at the desk next to you, but before she could start to talk the teacher started the lecture.

She was just one of your three best friends. You had two others, Anne and Sasha! Talking about Anne it was her 13th birthday that day! Only problem is that you had no idea what to get her. Oh well I'll go after school! You thought to yourself.

After a bit the bell had rang as you got up you felt a hand on your shoulder. You stopped in you tracks as you turned to Marcy titling your head a bit.

"Hey! Wanna hang out in the library after school?" Marcy asked with a smile.

"Oh, uhm, well after school I'm going to go find a gift for Anne, sorry Marc.." You admitted.

"Oh, oh yeah totally! I forgot too!" She laughed.

"I mean, you can join me if you'd like!" You invited but she shook her head.

"It's okay, I have to study anyways."

You immediately felt a wave of guilt pass over you but didn't argue any further as the both of you walked and separated ways.

It was now after school and you were at the mall searching, you were lucky enough to have parents that would pay you for babysitting your siblings.

"Hmm, what to get Anne?" You thought out loud as you looked around.

You went from store to store but couldn't find anything. At this point you were disappointed and hungry so you decided to take a break and stop by the food court.

You ordered some food and sat down while scrolling on your phone when you got a notification.

Sasha:

Marcy said you were searching for a gift? Well she just found the perfect one!

Sasha:

Y/N:

Wtf is that

Sasha:

It's a music box you rock 🙄

Y/N:

Mhm

Ok

Sure

This is fine

Yeah no I keep getting an eerie feeling from that box.. It's kinda sus....

You shut your phone up and finished your food and decided to try one more store.

It was a clothing store you looked around the racks, you then laid eyes on the perfect thing for Anne. You immediately grabbed it and rushed to the checkout and of course with your luck, it had a huge line.

Finally it was your turn, you went up and paid for it, you asked for a gift bag which cost your Xtra but you didn't mind. They put it in and made it look pretty, you thanked the cashier as you rushed out of the store.

You had gotten a text earlier saying that they were at the park.

You used your scooter and rushed your way over there, you never learned how to ride a bike so the scooter was the next best option.

You stopped at a street light seeing that the park was in eyes view, you just needed to wait for the crossing sign. You desperately pressed the button as it kept repeating the same word over and over again telling you to wait. Sasha's gonna kill me if this stupid thing doesn't hurry. You thought to yourself.

That's when it happened.

You saw a big light shoot into the sky. You stared at it in shock. After it stopped everything turned off just for a second, pitch black, even the traffic lights. Then it came back, unable to process what happened you just ran across the street to the park, because that's where it came from.

"GUYS!" You yelled as you reached the playground, but stopped when you saw no one was there. Confused you got off your scooter and walked around a bit. You looked at your phone checking to see if perhaps one of them sent you a message, nothing.

It's almost like they disappeared.

Three months.

That's how long they've been gone. You haven't really been the same, you were more quiet, more reserved.

But it was summer, there was no time to sulk, you had been trying to figure out what on earth had happened to your friends.

The police came to the conclusion that it was probably just a runaway case and had left it at that. At first they thought it was kidnapping and you were suspected, you found it odd that they suspected you since you were a literal 13 year old.

They tried to interview you but you weren't much help since they didn't believe your story, even though it was 100% true. They eventually gave up and let you go.

You had decided that today you were going to go to the place Marcy said she'd be the day she disappeared, the library.

You looked around, not really expecting to find anything, you sat down and thought for a bit.

Okay Y/N think, use that big brain of yours. What did Marcy need to study for that day? It was a few weeks before school ended so probably state testing! Ugh state testing really? That is Mar-Mar though. You thought to yourself.

You just put you head down for a bit, it had been a month, maybe they really did runaway, and they probably just left you.

You heard a thud and shot up and you saw a book on the floor, the librarian had seemed go drop it. "Ma'am yo- actually you know what I'm not gonna even try." You picked up the book and stared at it.

"Dr.P's extraordinary guide to magic and mystery?" You read out loud. You shrugged as you placed it down, but you had a weird but feeling, the exact same one the day your friends had disappeared.

"Oh, why not." You gave in as you sat back down and opened the book, you skimmed through it, until you got to one particular page, one that would change everything.

So four months without your friends, it was back to school time but your parents had decided to homeschool you, which you didn't mind.

Apparently the box was able to transport others to different worlds, at first you thought it was silly, but once you put the pieces of the puzzles together it started to make sense.

You immediately ran to police with your new discovery, they didn't believe you. Looking back at it you thought it was stupid, so you went to your parents, heck even scientists, no one believed you.

At this even you started to doubt yourself. Maybe they really did run away, and maybe, just maybe, they really didn't want anything to do with you.

You sat at your desk looking at all your evidence, when you felt something form in the corner of your eyes. Then it just all came out, you started to straight up sob.

I just want them back, please. You begged, to who or what? You don't know, but you had to eventually accept the fact that they were gone.

There was nothing you could do about it, you had to move on, even if you didn't want to.

"Stop moving so much!" Y/N told the blonde. They had been cleaning up a cut on her face, but Sasha wasn't really enjoying it. "Oh my stars- Sasha are you trying to get another scar?"

"I'm sorry! It's just really uncomfortable!!" The teen whined, Y/N rolled their eyes, and patched up their friend.

"There it's done" They smiled, as Sasha put her hand on the bandage on her face.

"Heh, that's what you get for not sleeping last night" Anne teased her friend, as she sat next to her.

"Oh don't worry Anne, your next" Y/N smirked, Anne shifted a bit, as Y/N grabbed her arm and cleaned her wound.

"Seriously, you two need to take more care of yourselves" Y/N patched up Anne's arm. "How does that feel?" They asked, Anne moved her arm a bit.

"It's good, thanks" Anne thanked, and smiled.

"I guess this makes Y/N the official resistance nurse" Sasha laughed, which Anne joined in, Y/N just playfully rolled their eyes as they joined their friends and sat down.

"I mean that's okay, but I'll probably need more then just a few bandages" they added on.

"I'll get to that" Sasha agreed.

HELLO!!! This wasn't much, just wanted a cute little reader story with Anne and Sasha 😝 and I made the reader gender neutral!!! Anyways I'll be writing little things like this!! But yeah hope you enjoyed it!!
