Here's some more information about Connie!

After Steven got taken to HW, the Gems spend months exhausting every option to get him back. But they all came back null. The Gems decided they'll just have to wait and see, something will happen eventually. But Connie doesn't have 8 thousand years to waste. Neither does Steven (probably). So she takes the matters into her own hands.

The reason for most of their problems with getting to HW is that Earth technology is just not advanced enough for that. So why not advance it? Connie decides it's time for humanity to fast-pass into the space age. She will become an aerospace engineer and then bring humanity up to speed. With the help of Peridot of course.

She started training fencing in a human club - even became an Olympic champion. She often trains with Amethyst and sometimes Bismuth. She actually has scars! Steven wasn't there to heal the little scratches and cuts. For big injuries they used Rose's tears, but that happened only a handful of times. Her eyesight got worse again so she wears glasses. (It healed and went back down every time they used Rose's magic. from stress probably.)

At first she was mad at Steven for sacrificing himself but it slowly turned into guilt. They all were too weak to protect him, and relied on him too heavily. That's why he felt like he had to sacrifice himself. But she will save him - and stop an intergalactic empire in the process. She will be his knight in shining armor.

Her third outfit is her Homeworld outfit.

Connie really wants to be a fantasy hero! She has nightmares of Earth being ripped apart. She has a fan club at uni that she doesn't know about.

Every few months, I get this dire urge to finish writing The Buzzing Continues, but then I realize how much work it would take and immediately lose all motivation 💀

If I do genuinely plan on finishing it (and I do), I should probably do so before Lars of the Stars starts releasing and inevitably pokes gaping holes in my old timeline.

For those out of loop, any new stories I post down the line will take place in an entirely seperate timeline from my old works. Assuming Lars of the Stars doesn't upend our understanding of SU's world, this new timeline will be what I write in for the foreseeable future.

New stories should be coming sooner than you think, btw. I have a kinda-short-story thoroughly planned out that introduces the biggest difference between my old timeline and my new one.

You know what often sucks about writing? Your best works will almost always come from inserting your own emotions into a narrative, but doing so requires you're able to actually understand and articulate those emotions 💀

I finally, finally have some free time to write, but it's probably gonna take a little bit to get back into the swing of things.

I'm thinking I may finally start on a Connverse story that I've been meaning to write for a hot minute now. It's very Connie-centric, and I posted a short hinting toward it late last year.

It's probably also best to get the story out of my system before Lars of the Stars comes along and inevitably contradicts it in several key ways (or maybe not since we have no idea if Connie or Steven will be relevant in the show, as much as I think they will be).
