All the Rose Quartz bubbled are (and were) Crystal Gems!

When the diamonds decided to bubble all the rose quartz (just because they were this type of quartz) they obviously stopped having a purpose on Homeworld, they were literally refugies.

Even if they didnt knew about the movement, or even if they wanted to stay loyal to Homeworld, they were bubbled anyways, and  they were, and actually are, considered traitors to Homeworld. 

Also a lot of them could became Crystal gems because they didnt had where to go, and its fair to assume as well that a lot of them had interactions with Rose since the beginning of the rebelion wich means that they had more chances to became rebels than other types of gems.

Even the ones that never were Crystal Gems have one option now, and also have reasons, they were bubbled without justification, and also, they dont have were to go.

Now the Crystal Gems will truly have an army with all of the exsisting Rose Quartz.

Why Smoky Quartz looks like that, all the reasons

First: it was unplanned for them to fuse, just like the first form of Garnet:

It was messy as well, and thats why Somky would change a lot in the future just like Garnet, when fused properly, i think she will have the arms in the right places, it was like this because it was just their first time fusing and it was unplanned to do such a thing.

A reason for the three arms: Steven is part gem and part human, fused with an overcooked Amethyst, it makes sense that it will come out with not enough power as a regular fusion (4 arms, with the exception of Garnet that has two because she’s made from two smol gems).
