🖋 Etiquette Of Standing At Door كيف يقوم عند الباب ؟

ʿAbdullāh b. Busr RaḍiAllāhu-ʿAnhu said:

“When Prophet would come to someone’s door seeking permission to enter; he wouldn’t stand facing it, rather he would stand to the right or left of it,

If he was given permission he would enter or else he would walk away.”

The scholars mention that the wisdom behind not facing the door directly is that when it opens up; the gaze of the person seeking permission should not fall upon anything inside the house which is not permissible for him to look at!!

Sufyān ath-Thawree Raḥimahullāh (one of the Salaf) said:

“If you know yourself then whatever is said against you wouldn’t harm you!!”

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim Raḥimahullāh said:

“A person does not stop committing a sin until it becomes easy upon him and it becomes insignificant in his heart,

And THAT is a SIGN OF DESTRUCTION.”

Shaykh-ul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah Raḥimahullāh said:

“It is NOT PERMISSIBLE for anyone to despair of Allāh’s Mercy EVEN IF his sins are ENORMOUS.”

✒ Majority Of Muslim Lives Are Between 60-70 Years

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“A VERY FEW (people) of my nation (Ummah) are those who reach the age of 70 years.”

In another narration he Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“The lifespan of my Ummah is between 60 and 70 (years)...”

🖋 Meaning of Āmeen

Imām at-Tirmidhī Raḥimahullāh said:

“Āmeen means: ‘O Allāh do not disappoint our hopes’, however majority of scholars say it means: ‘O Allāh respond to our supplication’.”

Abū Idrees al-Khawlānī Raḥimahullāh (one of the Salaf) said:

“That I see a fire in mosque which I am unable to extinguish is MORE BELOVED to me than that I see a Bidʿah (innovation) in it which I am unable to change.”

🖋 Tawbah

ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar said: I heard Prophet Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam say:

“Turn in repentance to Allāh, for indeed I turn to Him in repentance a HUNDRED TIMES EVERY DAY.”

Assalaamu alaykum, I know you favour the keto diet and I am skinny fat, everything else is fine but no matter how well I eat or exercise my stomach fat won't budge. Thinking of doing keto diet, trouble is no idea how to get my 70% fat in. Good fat sources? Used to having minute % of fat so I have no clue how I'm going to manage to get that amount of fat in. What do you typically eat for this portion day to day? Would really appreciate help so much. Baarak Allaahu feek

Waʿalaikum As Salaam Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakatuhū,

I stick to Keto diet as it helps me a lot with not just keeping myself healthy and fit but also it reduces inflammation for me, carbs and sugar give me all sorts of troubles,

Just kindly make sure you eat good carbs like veggies and wholemeal bread or pita but not going beyond 20 to 30 net grams of carbs per day, increase it to 40 net grams if you train heavily,

As for healthy fats I consume a lot of butter and coconut oil and olive oil in food, with 1600 calories a day I can easily make up 67-70% of diet with just fats, try bullet proof coffee, you can easily find its recipe online, I hope this helps.

“The one who says something good or narrates something good (which might not be completely accurate) in order to make peace between people is NOT A LIAR.”

🖋 Mercy Of Allāh

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“A Muslim is not afflicted with fatigue or illness or concern or sorrow or injury or depression, even a thorn that pricks him WITHOUT Allāh EXPIATING his ERRORS because of that.”

🖋 Reward Of Daughters

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“No Muslim has two daughters and he takes good care of them (financially and emotionally) except that they will cause him to ENTER JANNAH.”

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān Hafiẓahullāh:

“Anyone who doubts that Abū Bakr and ʿUmar are in Paradise is a DISBELIEVER (KĀFIR), then what about those who curse them?!!”

🖋 Duʿā

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“Three supplications are answered WITHOUT ANY DOUBT:

• Supplication of the one who’s oppressed

• Supplication of a traveller

• & Supplication of parents for their children.”

🖋 Etiquette Of Salaam

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“The one young in age initiates greeting (Salaam) to the one old in age and the one walking initiates greeting to the one sitting and the small group initiate greeting to the large group.”

Ibn al-Qayyim Raḥimahullāh:

“The deputies of devil on earth are those who discourage people from seeking knowledge and understanding of religion,

And they are MORE HARMFUL than Jinn devils as they're an obstruction between the hearts (of men) and guidance of Allāh and His Path.”

🖋 Saying ‘Wallāhi’ A Lot

Sh. Ibn ʿUthaymeen:

“Abundantly swearing by Allāh is a proof that the person taking oath has no respect for Allāh in his heart which is required to fear Him,

And no doubt respect for Allāh is from the PERFECTION OF TAWḤEED.”
