A dandelion sat in the middle of a flower box of middlemist Red's.

The weed sat in the box, day after day, being ignored by those who walked by.

The Middlemist's were fawned over, but the dandelion was considered to be an eyesore, a stain on the beautiful collection of rare flowers.

The people who walked by always looked at the weed with disgust.

They told the owner of the flowerbox to destroy it, to fix the perfection of the box by eliminating it.

But you didn't.

You left the dandelion there, saying it was unique.

You thought I was perfect the way I was.

You thought the way I stood out in the crowds was endearing, and loved me for it.

You loved me despite my flaws.

I didn't know why.

I still don't know why.
