How old were you when you watched Cats for the first time? How old when you joined the fandom?

So the first time i saw cats was watching the 2019 movie. The only thing I will say about that was tom hooper when I get you.

BUT the way I got into cat was actually preforming it as my first musical in High School. So imagine being me, getting to the theather for the into meeting of my schools theather program, and being told that our fall play would be The Diary of Anne Frank.

and our musical.......was CATS.

we were, as most people are, appalled. we learned a bit of journey to the Heaviside layer while one of the guys (who later when on the play old dute) pretended to be grizabella

and that was my first experience with cats.
