Oh, my bad, that would be giving someone other than you what they want. Can't have that, right?

If there's nothing I can do to stop you, could you hurry it the fuck up? I'm tired.

The thing I don't understand is why you would go after someone who will fight you every step of the way when there are so many people who would give you anything you want without hesitation.

I keep seeing these comments on cat posts, and all I can think is "have you ever even seen a cat in the real world, or interacted with one, let alone taken care of one?"

A thought occurred to me. There's all this talk of Libby and Nico being constellations, chasing each other's tails. But actually I think everyone is kind of in the same position, in a way. They all seem to be counters for each other. Libby and Nico, sure, but also Parisa and Reina, and Tristan and Callum. They're archetypes, each responding to specific aspects of what they are in different ways.
Libby and Nico are responding to being stronger than everyone around them. Nico acknowledges that he's stronger than the people around him, welcomes it, and actively works to make himself stronger. Libby doubts herself too much to push herself to her full potential, and more often than not stands in her own way.
Parisa and Reina are responding to the fact that people want to use them. Parisa lets people use her because it allows her to use them in return guilt free. Reina isolates herself so she can't get used, but once again, holds herself back in the process out of necessity.
Callum and Tristan are responding to the ability to see things for what they are. Callum sees it, accepts what he sees, and uses it mercilessly for his own amusement. Tristan sees it and then questions it a thousand times over, and yeah, there's totally a theme here, it holds him back.
There are other ways they counter reach other, too, but those are the ones that really stuck out to me, because I guess they are the most relatable?
