Ahhhh, so excited that the story is still going!! I can't wait until the new chapter comes out :D
Thank you for your continued support, Anon!
I hope it’s up to snuff when you read it, haha 🖤
It’s really the readers that keep me going. Re-reading reviews and knowing you’ve taken an interest in this silly blurb is just…unbelievable.
Have a great evening!

Progress Update: April 2nd
As always, taking a trip into Sebastian’s manifested brain is a tortuous, yet rewarding task.
Chapter 7 is now being polished and refined.
I’m aiming to have it up by the end of this month. Wish me luck.

The polka certainly seems like something you’d see at the King’s Bear, haha.
I’ll definitely keep this in mind, thank you!
Research is a cruel lover.
The Victorians are all at once cryptic and an open book.
I can find manuals on exactly how to carry out a proper and respectable funeral, burial, and subsequent mourning period. This includes dress, behaviour, and even the FABRICS one should use.
Not sure how long you should mourn your dead spouse/child/sibling/brother-in-law?
Fear not, ‘tis a simple question!
But heaven forbid, I attempt to find out precisely what the lower-class danced in pubs in the late 19th century. Now that is like finding a needle in a haystack.
Polka, two-step, and the waltz seem like the closest answer.

Hi, merry Christmas!
I've been following your story for years, abd I really really like it. The way you write the characters is spot on, and sybil is the cutest murder potato (if you'll forgive the expression)! I have a question: if Sebastian made something special for Sybil, would she eat it or throw it out for being suspicious?
I'm so very humbled, and thank you for your continued interest all these years! I really grill myself to make sure the characters feel authentic, so your praise is incredible. Cute murder potato, indeed!
As for your question, I believe she'd immediately think he's done something to it. Or that he's going to do something to her (like when prisoners get their last meal).
She's driven by paranoia, and Sebastian's behaviour only aggravates it more.
So her reaction would be to call the trio of servants, or at least one of them, to 'share it'. An unwitting taste tester, if you will. If there's arsenic or anything seriously harmful, Sebastian would most likely step in.
Private soldiers are hard to find, after all.
Now if their dynamic has evolved from disgruntled/seething housemates, we might get an interesting exchange.
You have my most sincere apologies, Anon!!! It took me forever to realize I'd gotten an ask (and my very first, at that). And thank you for being the very first!

Progress Update: July 2nd
Chapter 7 is on its way, slow and steady.
More of the plot has been refined and built up, and updated as well considering the new information we’ve gathered ever since 2CT has been confirmed.
Revisions are currently being done on previous chapters for historical accuracy, plot consistency as well as any errors that may have slipped past me.
Also...new scenes and clues may be sprinkled throughout for readers with a keen eye and overactive wit...
Stay safe everyone :)

Hello and Welcome!
This is the blog dedicated to “A Nest of Teeth”--a Kuroshitsuji fic.
I’ll talk about the process of writing the fic, snippets, answer questions, post occasional art, and just generally interact with those who enjoy the tale.
There’s also no real way for me to keep readers posted on the actual story site without giving a false sense of an actual chapter update (been there, ain’t great), so this seemed like a good option.
How much I stay active on here really depends on whether it appears to be a useful tool for you as readers or not, so yeah!
If you haven’t the slightest idea of what I'm talking about, click the tooth down below!
A Nest of Teeth
Summary:
Life as a skivvy possessed few—if any—comforts.
Which meant she was no different than any other servant in London. Still, she had found a frail sort of peace among dust, laundry, and shoe polish. Each day like the one before.
Alas, good things are short-lived...And along came a boy-earl with a slippery butler in tow, and thrust her right back into the fray.
🦷
As always thank you for reading, and stay tuned!
