So @monster-huntologist wrote an awesome post about MHW variants of the other three Fated Four monsters, following Glavenus’ inclusion in the Iceborne DLC, and I fell in love with them and got absolutely lost in the sauce and decided to paint up my interpretation of the Floral Gammoth! I realised about halfway through that the colour scheme was probably meant to be the opposite way round aka purple on turquoise, but I like it too much at that point to change it! This is based on the concept art of Gammoth, though you’ll see some differences! I made Floral Gammoth slightly less hairy then regular to deal with the warmth of the Ancient Forest, and modelled the yellow flowers after wisteria to contribute to the shaggy appearance - I hope I got the visuals right!!!

Here is the second monster from the Monster Hunter World series of tokens that KTech did the lineart and base colour for and then I detailed. It’s the very cute and egg hoarding Kulu-Ya-Ku! :D

The plan is to release these one by one, so I’ll be working on these during streams most likely! were also planning to work on these in the order they appear on monster hunter world, (even though I know KTech is itching to draw the Odogaron) so theyre only going to get bigger and meaner as we go on!

Making myself a new offline or intermission screen - haven’t decided which yet. Monster Hunter is one of my absolute favorite game series (it’s killing me to have to wait for the PC version of World to come out) and Monster Hunter Stories is one of my absolute favorite games. The story was good and Makiri Nowa (I prefer this version to his/her localization name) is an absolute badass. I’d love to see Makiri or Verusa make an appearance in a front running title.

This isn’t quite done yet so if you’d like to see me work on it some more, watch my updates! I usually stream on Wednesdays or Fridays. Occasionally I’ll throw in a random stream here or there. I stream games too! Love to stream Stories someday but I lack a DS capture card.

KTech has been playing  Monster Hunter World recently and it contains some amazing massive monster fights and we both thought making those into tokens to spring upon players would work really well! We both worked on this, KTech did the line art and basic colour, and I finished up the details :)

But this first monster is something of a test because its not directly linked to anything to do with Dungeons & Dragons. So we want to see peoples reaction to this before we make more of them.

Bear in mind, this is one of the smallest monsters in the game and some have such amazing designs and abilities that I think they would really work for ttrpg games :D
