[video description: 9-1-1 season 8 episode 6 promo
Tense music plays throughout, with a wavering bass, grating synths and periodic thudding drums. Daytime, and the ladder truck, ambulance and fire engine turn off the road, in front of a tall office building, their sirens blaring. At dispatch, Maddie frowns seriously at her screens, as she states, “Attention all units, possible elder abduction in progress.” Bobby looks up towards the building as he closes the ladder truck door behind him.
The camera pans down the front of the building and text slams onto the screen, matching the voiceover of “In 2 weeks.” A police car pulls up towards the front of the building too.
The lift doors close slowly as Athena stands inside, looking into the middle distance as she holds onto her shoulder radio, announcing, “Suspect is on the roof.” Her voice continues, “requesting back-up” as we see her on the roof-top, jogging alongside the vents of an RTU, her gun drawn and held down in front of her.
The voiceover announces, “Two daring rescues”, as we see Bobby, Chim, Eddie, Hen and Buck walking towards a house, between a picket fence gate.
We see the 118 walking forwards from the side, and a young boy runs up towards them, pointing behind him as he exclaims, “My little brother’s trapped!”
Bobby kneels in the middle of a large hole, next to an exposed pipe opening. He holds onto the edges of the pipe with both hands, looking down as he says, “He’s about 20 feet down.” On the raised ground around the hole, the rest of the 118 set up equipment. Hen stands beside the parents, all three of them looking towards Bobby with worry.
From above, the parents crouch down on either side of the pipe and look down into it. An ever younger boy is trapped inside, head upwards and arms pinned above him. He lisps out, “I’m scared!”
The voiceover says, “One new hero.” Buck tilts his head and leans down, examining something off-camera. Hen looks to her side, blinks, then looks straight ahead, lips parted in concern.
Eddie kneels on the ground next to Bobby, looking at him with raised eyebrows as he states, “someone’s gotta go down there.” Bobby is standing in the hole, looking back as he says, “I don’t think you’re going to fit this time.”
Chim walks towards the camera, Bobby in the foreground. He points his thumb behind him as he solemnly says, “There’s someone who can.” We see the older child from before, clutching onto a book as he looks towards the ground in thought.
A close up of the older child, as he steps forwards, chin tilted up as he insists, “I can do it, I’m his big brother”, lowering his head and looking resolute.
Bobby looks serious, a crease in his forehead as he explains, “we don’t try this.” Bobby’s voice continues, “we might not get to him in time.” The parents are standing in front of Bobby, the mum looking in teary anger at Bobby and the dad looking tentatively at the mom. The mom turns to look pleadingly at the dad, who shakes his head repeatedly as she opens her mouth. The boy wriggles slightly, hand grasping against the pipe.
Eddie and another firefighter lift up the older child by the legs, lowering him head first into the pipe. The parents run forwards, shouting out, “Jack?” as Hen tries to hold them back. A close-up shows Hen holding the mother around the waist, while Buck takes a step in front of her.
The voiceover says, “9-1-1, returns Thursday November 7th on ABC, and stream on Hulu”, along with matching text over a sunset cityscape.

[video description: 9-1-1 season 8 episode 5 promo
The camera slowly zooms in on Athena, who is sitting in a darkened office wearing her police uniform. She looks intensely into the distance, intoning, “It was all Hallow’s Eve.”
Her voice continues, “not a soul in sight” as we see a deep blue night sky through leafy trees, followed by a red-eyed scarecrow decoration, cackling and tilting its head creepily, in front of a house lit up with green lighting.
The voiceover and text on screen says, “Next Thursday,” as we see loads of children dressed up in Halloween costumes running into a decorated firehouse.
Bobby is dressed as a vampire, with a white shirt and a black cape with a large red raised collar. He leaps forwards with a "bleugh!", eyes wide and tongue sticking out as he tries to scare the children, hands raised and curled inwards. We then see all the children looking at him, smiling happily, with one child looking unimpressed as he cackles in an exaggerated way.
The Wilson family and Jee-Yun are dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters. Denny is the Scarecrow, with a white pinstriped shirt, a gray waistcoat and blue jeans, with a brown painted nose. There is straw stuffed in his cuffs, out of the waistcoat pocket and buttons, and from under the beige floppy hat. Karen is the Lion, with a long brown dress and fur around her arms, silky golden gloves, a painted nose, and round ears atop her head. Mara is Dorothy, in a white puffed-sleeve top with a blue checked dress over it, and her hair tied back in ribbons. Hen is the Tinman, painted silver and wearing a silver shiny jumpsuit and jacket, with a spout on a cone on her head. Jee-Yun is Toto, wearing a full-body dog costume with the nose, eyes and ears above her exposed face, showing her nose also painted brown.
Maddie takes a photo of the Wilson family and Jee-Yun, as the voiceover says, “a 9-1-1 Halloween”. Denny gives a wide closed-mouth smile, chin tilted up. Karen bares her teeth, her hands raised as claws. Mara holds Jee-Yun’s shoulders in front of her and they both smile at the camera. Hen poses robotically, tilted to one side with her arms stiffly held away from her body, one half of her face tensed up.
The voiceover continues, “means bizarre rescues.” We first see Athena closing her eyes in annoyance and walking away from Eddie, Bobby and Hen standing in front of a haunted house. Eddie is maybe dressed as a wolf, with a long shaggy brown wig and brown furry costume, with a silver chain extending from the middle to the side, like a pocket-watch chain. Bobby is still dressed as a vampire, and we can see his maroon bow tie and cummerbuns, and black trousers. Hen is a mad scientist, with a curly green wig and white lab-coat over a white gown.
We then see the 118 standing in a room, surrounding a man with a giant pumpkin over his head. Bobby grips under his bicep with both hands and starts to guide him off to the side. Eddie reaches back to pull out a chair.
The man starts to loudly choke, clutching his hands to his neck. First Eddie, then Chim, reach forward to grab a hold of the pumpkin, as Bobby yells, “Easy, easy, easy.” Multiple voices shout “woah” as the man tilts forwards and falls to the floor, Eddie leans down to try and hold him and Chim falls backward with him.
Bobby looks tense as he demands, “we need to get this thing off you right now.” Buck is next to him and looks stunned and horrified.
The voiceover says, “and living nightmares.” At night, Hen walks forward down a residential road in her turnouts, Buck and Chim on either side of her as she looks towards something with increasing worry.
Bobby and Buck walk beside two teenage girls, looking at them as one of them shakily explains, “a trick or treater, and he’s pinned against the car.” We see a car smashed into the front of a house, pieces of the picket fence on the roof, and firefighters gathered around to clear the debris.
Hen rushes forwards towards the front of the car, crying out, “No, no, no, Denny!” as she pushes debris out of the way and reaches her hand out.
Denny grits his teeth in pain, closing his eyes and throwing his head back. In the background, Chim also grimaces as he works. Hen turns to look towards him, hand stretched out as she shakily says, “mama’s here”
The Lifepak shows the pulse turn to a flatline, a continuous beep sounding as Chim says, “we lost his pulse.” Hen grips Denny’s hand. Hen looks out towards the street, hoarsely screaming, “We need blood!”
The voiceover says, “9-1-1, all new, next Thursday on ABC and stream on Hulu,” accompanied by a pumpkin-orange 9-1-1 logo over a foggy city backdrop, pumpkins at the bottom of the screen and bats flying out towards the camera. The ABC logo is also orange.

GIF 1: A blended gif of Shannon Diaz (left) in a pale blue and Christopher Diaz (right) in color. Both scenes are from 2x17. Shannon looks upset, speaking to Eddie (offscreen). The shot of Chris is as he learns Shannon has died. He is smiling, but as Eddie (offscreen) speaks, his smile slowly fades. The overplayed font says "You could never be the reason I left". the font is white except for "left" which is in a script like font and is larger and blue.
GIF 2: A blended gif of Shannon with Chris. The top gif is from 7x01. The image of Shannon looks at Chris, smiling, speaking to him as he reads her letter. The second blended gif is from 3x15 and is on the bottom left, in blue. Shannon has just placed a newborn Chris into her mother's (offscreen) arms. She is looking at Chris and is happy. The overlayed font says: "Because you were all the reason I stayed." All the font is in white plain font, except for "stayed" which is blue, larger, and in a script-like font.

I wrote this letter a few years ago right after I left, or, actually, after I... didn't come back... to Christopher... trying to explain why I couldn't be there. And I figured that if, for some reason, I never found my way back, that he'd want answers. And he needed to know that... it wasn't his fault. That his mother didn't leave because she didn't love him. [video description:
Rhythmic drums and insistent electric guitar notes play in the background, as we see a wide shot during the day, showing an American football field with a game in the background and cheerleaders in the foreground. They are all from WVHS, the same school as from season 5 episode 4.
The background music continues as we see a close-up of two female cheerleaders raising their pom poms enthusiastically. A player passes the ball to another in front of him, who catches it behind himself and starts running. A male cheerleader does backflips behind the rest of the cheerleaders, some of whom are making a pyramid.
A football player runs with the ball, chased by two of the opposing team. From below, we see the cheerleader doing a back-flip before the player runs into him, helmet hitting his lower back, and the music cuts out. All the football players fall in a heap, while the cheerleader is flung into a bench, twisting over and landing with his feet over his head. A whistle blows.
The voiceover and text on screen says, “Next Thursday”, as we see the 118 ambulance and engine alongside an athletic track, a few of the players standing inside. The 118 walk through the entrance gate.
The voiceover continues, “a crazy twist” as we see Chim, Eddie, Hen and another firefighter in their blue uniform knelt around the cheerleader, who’s lying flat on the ground. Supporters, players and cheerleaders stand around and watch, one crouched on the floor and filming on his phone.
The victim, a young black boy, has on a C-collar, and tilts his head back as he gasps for breath. Chim asks, “You ever seen anything like this before?” as he looks across to Hen, frowning even through his sunglasses.
A cheerleader looks downwards and gasps in horror, as another runs up behind her and grabs her shoulder. The first cheerleader continues to gasp, looking side to side, as we hear someone say in confusion, “His body’s backward.” We get a close-up of the lower half of the victim’s body, to see it’s twisted 180 degrees.
From the outside of a building, we see a firefighter suspended from the roof, swinging in towards a window. Rhythmic drums and claps play in the background, and the voiceover booms, “And the wildest rescue yet” as the camera zooms to show the firefighter peering into the window.
A white woman is sitting on the floor, back half against a door. There is blood on the hand that holds up her phone and she exhorts, “I was attacked,” as she looks to the side. We see Maddie sitting in dispatch, lips parted and frowning slightly in worry as the caller continues, “it’s in the other room.” Maddie’s eyebrows go up slightly, as she looks off to the side and asks, “It?”
Athena drives a police car, one hand on the wheel and head slightly turned back as she talks to the person in the back. “You managed to get a 400 pound tiger into a studio apartment?” We see police pressed up against the wall of an apartment building corridor, as Buck and Hen cautiously creep forwards. Buck holds a halligan out in front of him, while Hen has her med kit bag.
The door swings open from Buck slamming into it. We hear a low growl and the camera sharply zooms out, Buck and Hen pressing themselves back against the door in fear.
The voiceover says, “9-1-1, all new, next Thursday on ABC and stream on Hulu”, along with matching text over a sunset cityscape.

[video description: promo for 9-1-1 season 8 episode 3
In a windswept and bumpy cockpit, Athena sits in the pilot’s seat and talks into a wired phone, shakily saying “we are making an emergency landing.”
The voiceover dramatically says “Thursday,” as look up through the plane to see sparks falling from the large hole in the ceiling. Text on screen reads “Thursday, ABC, stream on Hulu”.
The cabin has red and green lights in it and people scream and cover their ears as the plane shakes, sparks and air masks falling down.
In the stolen engine, Bobby looks serious, eyes darting side to side as he asks, “what do you need from me?” Brad watches him in the background.
In the cockpit, Athena holds up her phone in front of her, shrugging incredulously and shaking her head in disbelief as she shouts, “you got a runway in your back pocket?” In the background, Jem watches her from the pilot seat. There is what looks like a blue-screen through the windows.
The voiceover says, “the pulse pounding” Hen and Chim move between two trucks at night, red flashing lights over them. Hen walks fast, looking concerned, and Chim frowns as he jogs along.
The voiceover and corresponding overlay on-screen continues, “9-1-1 three-part season premiere event concludes,” as we see a panning overhead shot of multiple parked fire-engines and ambulances at night, from the 133, 117, 122 and 118. We then see a passenger plane fly overhead at night, the camera tilting to make the plane look like it’s flying upwards.
The 119 engine is parked diagonally across one side of the 110 highway, blocking cars and motorbikes. We first hear, then see, Buck say, “shut down the 110”, as he holds up his phone to his mouth, looking out ahead with wide eyes. Behind him, Brad leans forwards, fingers gripping the divide between the main part of the truck and the cabin, an intense expression on his face.
We hear Bobby say, “get these people out of these cars,” as we see countless cars stuck in traffic. On another part of the road, Buck jogs forwards with traffic batons, frantically waving across his body to direct the cars driving past.
Close-up of Bobby walking forwards as he looks upwards into the middle distance as he states, “there’s a plane comin’”
Athena screams and grits her teeth as the plane seems to be pitched down, shaking as it flies. We hear a male voice singing in an electronic buzzing way, “we’ve got time to die”
The screen fades to black and then lights up from a fiery explosion in the aisle, people flying out of their seats as we see the entire cabin on fire, loose wiring hanging from the ceiling. A person runs from the flaming cabin towards the front of the plane, past empty seats. The camera wobbles violently as it moves through the cabin, past people in their seats with life-vests on, air masks hanging from the ceiling and sparks flying everywhere. Throughout, there’s a choir singing a high, urgent note.
Athena looks down towards her phone as she says in a low voice, “I love you” before looking away.
Bobby holds his phone in front of him, blurry traffic lights behind him. He looks ahead with a hint of a smirk on his face, insisting “tell me in person” before his face falls a little. The camera zooms out to show him standing with a wide stance on top of the fire-engine, traffic stopped behind him. The engine’s lights flash as a siren blares.
The voiceover says, “9-1-1, all new Thursday on ABC and stream on Hulu.” Text on screen reads “9-1-1, 3-part season premiere event, continues Thurs 8/7c” on a blue and red flashing background, with the other two logos popping up on the sky in time with the voice.

He's depicted from behind with his arms crossed over his chest, looking slightly to the right with most of his face obscured. draped over his shoulders and dangling on his back is the translucent figure of a young boy, one foot kicked up lazily, looking over his shoulder directly at the viewer. a pensive look on his face.
