I feel bad for Kiara the social worker in my crossover fic, because she's not one of the characters I plan to have end up in the know so from her point of view she just sees Robby being unbelievably rude to the wife, later widow, of a victim of extremely violent fatal trauma all while having no idea that the man she's seeing isn't Robby and him, the "widow" and the "trauma victim" are all in on it and also involved in a weird throuple.

I need someone to write a lucy/Carter fanfic where he tells her the reason he can't be with her is because he's her superior and teacher and he absolutely will not cross that line because someone had crossed it with him. And he refused to be anything like the maid he had when he was 11 years old.

Obsessed with how even when Nate's drinking is at it's worst near the end of Season 1, within the first like, five minutes of the Juror #6 Job, Nate casually orders Parker and Eliot to do things they don't want to do that are not strictly job-related* and they barely even argue. Importantly, in both situations there's implied buy-in from one or more members of the team to back him up, but like. These are not dramatic life-or-death situations. These are just above the level of inconveniences. Parker could have said 'no' and Hardison would have gotten her out of jury duty. Eliot could have said no and either Nate would have actually explained why he wanted him to go with Parker or Parker would have figured it out on her own. I just think it's a fun and interesting dynamic. *Getting Eliot to go help Parker is job related but Eliot doesn't know that and Nate barely does

the concept of the cybermen is magnificent. it's creepy. it's disturbing. it's the terror of undeath and the horror of coming back wrong. it's the endless march of capitalism, it's the commodification of disability aids, it's the ceaseless machinations of time. it's monopolisation. it's euthanasia as a substitute for healthcare. it's a lot of things. unfortunately many cyberman appearances can be boiled down to "scary army of robots invades" and frankly if i wanted to watch fiction about a robot and not the cybermen i'd just put on, well, robot.
