“POTHOLE 4” is now ready for viewing just west of the intersection Argyle and Kedvale on Chicago’s northwest side. Despite being brand new, the piece looks 2 years old. A lot of damage was done as many traffic cones were stolen during the install. A 2nd set was taken overnight. No more installs in this area for awhile! SOLD Evidence of Nike 14″ x 17″ 2010 Marble & Smalti Most mosaics are discovered incomplete. Being buried for a few thousand years will do that to the art. Purposely ‘found’ but not intact, this piece suggests that if you look a little closer, you might find hints of today’s consumerism existing in the artwork of days long past.
