hey neil, im a young trans person, and i just wanted to let you know how much i appreciate you outwardly showing your support for us.

its scary to be trans right now, and for me being young, i feel like im watching my future slip away. its terrifying to not know whats going to happen in the years to come.

cis people often dont realize how important it is that they really *show* their support. we need cis voices because people wont listen to trans ones anymore.

i go through life now expecting the cis people around me to be some level of transphobic. when i see someone like you, whos using his platform to speak out openly against trans hate, its so fucking refreshing. its like, “god, finally someone who actually sees us as people”.

i love being trans, but its become increasingly more scary this last year. so, thanks. thanks for sticking by us when we need people like you the most.

I'm scared for my trans friends in the UK and the US. I'm scared for the young trans people I've not yet met. So you are more than welcome.

Im sad bc my doctors fucked my antidepressant prescription which means you're legally bound to read and like my fanfictio

Im a lucky trans guy who CAN go private, however, the system here is so broken that while doing my preop checks, they found heart issues, completely unexpectedly. This rightfully means my top surgery has been delayed. HOWEVER, i was told that because this was found privately (the preop checks were private, had I gone with the NHS it would have taken a year for an appointment with cardiology. The whole nhs is falling apart - ive been neglected twice in hospitals, and it took 3 years for a test to check my risk of cancer, as it was thought to be very high) it means that if they find something in the next test, the NHS might not treat my NOT-TRANS RELATED HEART ISSUE because it was found through private healthcare?? At least thats what the Cardiologist told me.

The system is set up for the uber-rich.

Fuck capitalism. Fuck the tories. Why the fuck the british just sit here and ACCEPT the damage being done to cis AND trans folk I will NEVER understand.
