NEON YELLOW

as an opposite to neon violet, he grew tired of being the weakest link on the team. he constantly got in the way of green and red's rivalry and it always ended very poorly for him. at some point he started to observe violet as someone who knew how to survive. yellow became a lot less reckless and a lot more cunning, learning to use people for his gain. he had this trait (albeit very much unexplored) of risking everything for the sake of getting something important to him and to him only. yellow disposed of means that could potentially kill him (again) and started to work towards a goal, carefully and slowly - to defeat the strongest neon and prove himself worthy (mainly to himself. no one really expected anything of neon yellow).

meanwhile violet became softer and softer, slowly letting go of her careful and distrustful personality. during one of the years before the main events set, yellow managed to dispose of violet as his competitor. only once. she never let him get close to her again. after white arrived into heaven, violet immediately warned him about how dangerous neon yellow has become, but she wasn't able to prove anything because of the chapter 4 events. yellow put up a facade for his best bro and teamed up with him, because only with allies stronger than him was he able to get close to uncovering the book of life. he knew nothing about it before white's return. white still proved to be the most important person in his life.

red was not watching yellow very closely. that proved to be a mistake. he tried his best to hide his presence as an ally of white and green and he succeeded. she did not expect him to appear in the third temple and, as a result, was not able to kill him when the confrontation happened. she only managed to fatally injure him. slowly bleeding out, yellow was the one to get his hands on the book of life first

and he ran with it.

he abandoned unconscious green who fell through the third temple's floor and injured white who was forced to fight red. not sure what to do with the artifact without the book of death (that now belonged to neon red) he attempted to destroy it, drowning it in the glass ocean, leaving one page for himself. the book remained intact but had to be searched for. yellow ran further and further away until the injury became unbearable. when that happened he attempted to write his name on the page, but it was very much fruitless without the inkhorn (since i dont know if theres a punishment for writing in the book without the inkhorn i wont speculate any further). he bled out somewhere near the heaven's edge. his body was not found. his mask and the page he saved appeared in the cathedral immediately after.

yellow's mask is a hare, symbolising his inspiration by violets personality and his instinct to run away after getting what he wanted to get. his theme would be mg2019 175 from neon white demo soundtrack. his symbol is a heart.

the fact that villys mask is a prey animal!!! shes trying so hard to survive in the harsh world shes facing!!! shes so skilled at many things but in the end she makes the wrong choice and falls victim to a predator animal!!! AND reds mask is a predator animal too!!! and violet calls red a banshee but red says she loves violet!! playing with her food!! what happened between those two please. agggggh *drops dead*

NEON VIOLET

her carefree and easygoing personality remained the same, but her mistrust and distaste towards others have partially dissipated due to years and years of self reflection. she was very close to red and was practically her only ally during the times red was competing with green. at first violet only planned to get close to red because red was close to green in a way, but after some time red grew on her. violets feelings towards red forever remained extremely mixed, but it can be said for sure that she loved her. even if it was bitter and was not built on mutual trust.

violets obsession with green dulled over the years as well, but when white first got to heaven and teamed up with green (more on that later) something sparkled in her. she realised that the possibility to prove herself to a person who ignored her in life and death is closer than ever. she took whities side, even warned him about neon yellow (More on That Later.) but then she agreed to a deadly mission in the now red-occupied old city.

she and white went there alone and met neon red. met is a strong word because red hid somewhere in the clock tower and spoke with the help of the mechanical halo, her voice booming from everywhere. red offered violet a deal - she will kill white where he stood or red would finish them both herself. the choice was very hard but in the end obvious. you can love a person without trusting them. and violet never really trusted red.

violet was shot through the heart in chapter 4. her main theme would be something like "hostage" from neon white demo ost. her mask is a sheeps skull, partially representing her sheep mentality (following green everywhere he goes) and referencing neon yellows ram mask. her main symbol is a cross.

NEON RED

her rivalry with neon green continued for so long that she managed to overtake his score. before that she got really close to beating him but didnt and that annoyed her so much she went a little mad. after her return from glass ocean next year her entire appearance has changed to something very reminiscent of neon greens usual attire, including the mask (by the way the mask is a reference to wlfgrl). perhaps she wanted to take his place so bad she turned into him.

using her charms she used other neons as pawns and stepping stones, and those who refused to cooperate were. well. shot. neon green went a little soft on his long-time rival and was beaten as a conclusion. he didn't think of it as a big deal, he could recover his position next year. or the year after that... but with the power of now red mechanical halo neon red grew stronger and stronger (and went madder and madder, controlled by the artifact). now she is a powerful, nearly unbeatable being with a lot of followers on her side, enchanted by her beauty and strength.

i have come to a conclusion that gemini by machinegirl would be the soundtrack if we were playing as neon violet in neon white because 1. the album is double-sided and villy is double-faced 2. it sounds a lot like whats in the game now genre wise AS ABOVE SO BELOW. 3. its just. her core. for example missy punk has the aura of her competing with white. and out by 16 has that heavens edge levels rhythm. i can See it i have a vision ok
