Fair enough, I don't know jack mechanics wise. I don't play myself because the games would absolutely turn me into a lunatic outta hell. That and the mechanics are just complex enough to break my brain. Especially with so much to keep track of. Crimson Court was the clencher for me when I dared to even consider torturing myself with the game. I'm mostly just a lore nerd/lurker that observes the fandom quietly. For my own reasons.

Think Crimson Court's bosses would be what gets Death’s blood boiling the most. War would probably struggle in the Darkest Dungeon itself. Strife would probably struggling in the Color out of Madness dlc because he heard the trinkets from there were good. Fury struggles with the random encounter bosses/events I'd imagine. Like the Fanatic, Wolff Brigand, or the Collector. Based on what little I know of them.

Could see Death being the guy to unlock Reynauld in the second game as fast as possible because of Dismas' lines about it when finding the helmet and other items for the quest. Once done he'd do a Usual Suspects run. He wouldn't even need to grind beyond completing his first run in Act 1. The others would have to grind more before they can even try.

Ok one more for the day, feel free to answer this whenever you have time. No rush. I also have been on a Darkest Dungeon kick so pardon my enthusiam some, heheh...

How does each Horseman react to seeing Y/N rage whilst playing Darkest Dungeon 1 and 2? How do they react to playing it themselves? And what are their favorite classes for lore and gameplay reasons? Fave/Least fave boss? Who keeps Dismas and Reynauld alive past the Old Road or to the end of the first game? Finally, what is their reaction to seeing Dismas missing Reynauld before unlocking him via saving him in DD 2?

Side note, could see Crimson Court driving everyone nuts. But they still enjoy it for the most part.

I’m sure that after learning about mechanics horsemen would try to remind Y/N about heart attacks and keep an eye on stres levels.

They all would love to try to play themselves. I see it like that:

War as Crusader or Man-at-Arms

Death as Plague Doctor or Leper

Strife as Highwayman or Jester

Fury as Hellion or Musketeer

Nice. Though I can also imagine Death being actually unnerved by White Face at times due to the stalking. The occasional laugh being what gets him the most after long enough between hearing it. Would punch Strife if he ever laughed like that thing around him.

He'd be questioning the player character's sanity in Year Walk constantly, whilst probably being reminded of his own attempts in the past(he would never admit to trying this crazy shit). Only really got spooked at the Mylings part, because the concept of them was always a sad and disturbing thing.

In Anna he'd probably grow increasingly angry at the player character and go for the best ending only so that he gets comeuppance. Won't ever admit it, but the attic section had his paranoia spiking due to the mask always turning to stare at you on the chair. Actually jumped for a split second in the Y/N's attic the other day, before swearing in an ancient tongue.

He just had fun with Darkwood, and the eldritch atmosphere was something that scared him less by comparison as he's used to it in battle surprisingly. Doesn't trust any of the characters for anything. Especially not Wolf, sussed him out the minute he met the beast. Was glad to kill the sick bastard and enjoyed that boss fight the most.

How do you think the Horsemen would react to playing indie horror games like I'm Scared(Steam Edition), Year Walk, Anna(Steam Edition), & Darkwood? Which one is each character's favorite title?

Could certainly see the group enjoying these goodies. Three oldies but goldies, and a fourth more recent but amazing title.

War probably will like the games where he can use weapons to fight with monsters, but hate when he need to hide. Other than that, he like indie horror games.

Death did not understand why humans created this. They life is short, so why make it even shorter by scaring each other? He like when jumpscares are not as often as every five minutes and he Can explore locations and looking for clues and necessary items.

Strife love this kind of games and it’s probably the one to introduce them to his sliblings. His reaction? Scream at every jumpscare then acting like he is brave.

Fury love fighting monsters just like her brother, but have more patience to explore locations. While fighting monsters she is shouting some threats to monsters.

Out of curiosity, what were to happen if King Konrad came across Death injured as the Horsemen was helping out with his little problem? A rare occurance but not impossible one given Death has bitten off more than he can chew before.

I'm asking out of curiosity, out of kinda missing those drawings of Konrad going bonkers and shouting in French over the lack of a shirt ala Dreamworks' Sinbad when he sees Kale in the winter(lmao), and because I ultimately know nothing of the game or games Konrad is in.

First things first(other then a late response 💦), King Conrard is a headcanon of The King from Dead Cells, created by @yore-donatsu . A charismatic bastard with a heart of gold….if you catch him on a good day lol.

Second:

If this man were to catch the grim reaper on a bad day, there’s no way he’ll let Death hear the end of it. Until his royal head is in danger of being lopped off.

Horsemen Reptile/Amphibian/Arachnid Pet Owners:

This is just me wanting to have a bit of fun speculation for funsies as a reptile owner myself and someone who grew up around these animals as long as I've been alive. So what would each Horseman get as a pet or pets if they were to get into the reptile/amphibian/arachnid hobby.

You hadn't been to a reptile show since the apocalypse happened. In truth many of the species you loved as a kid were struggling to stay around past potential extinction. Others however actually managed to thrive despite everything happening. So when you heard that your fellow humans were hosting a show once again, things finally began to feel somewhat like normal again. It was also high time for your scaly puppy to have food again as you'd run out of your bulk.

Since you have nothing better to do than that, you decide to make the most of this. Especially given how long it's been, and you finally have friends to share your hobby with. Finally some folks who don't think reptiles and such are gross or inheritly evil. Death takes some convincing, given his homebody nature when not working. But eventually decides to join along, if only to make sure you stick to your shopping list and don't buy anything out of budget or anything living. Just the one 'danger noodle' as you keep calling your royal python is enough he feels(Yes he does call ball pythons by the original name and even knows why they're called royal pythons.). Strife needed no convincing at all and was happy to come and see what these mythical 'reptile shows' were. That and he's an animal lover so he's as excited as little kids are to see them all. Fury only came so you'd stop asking, supposedly. Deep down though, she's curious about the animals that have captured your heart so. She initially plans to ask questions about any that peak her interest or yours. War is convinced well enough after your explain just how big some of these python species can get. Course he's not believing you because, "I've seen much bigger snakes than a simple reticulated or indian python.". So he's coming just so he can prove you wrong.

So what does everyone buy?

Y/N - Well thanks to Death’s mostly hypervigilant self, you avoid buying any new critters. Just frozen rats to feed your scaly puppy at home. That doesn't stop you from taking photos of War posing with pythons and boas, and Strife holding everything he comes across if he's allowed to. Fury and Death were hard to nail in any photos. But eventually you do get one of each quietly. One has Fury interacting with a baby hognose that played dead in her hand as she called it a drama queen. The other has Death handling a tarantula, something you're admittedly still afraid to do. It was a beautiful sapphire gooty female that was somehow there. You immediately fled the scene right after the picture, not because Death caught you, but because the spider decided to showcase the speed demon side all indian ornamental species are known for. Getting a good chuckle out of the old Horseman who luckily was definitely fast enough to keep the little lady from 'chasing you'.

Death - He decides on buying the sapphire gooty, as their extreme rarity gave him a sort of kinship kind of feeling towards her. That and the unintentional jumpscare she gave you might've given him some ideas. He gets at least two other species as well. A goliath bird eater because he enjoys her spunk seeing as she actually stridulated at him when he picked up her container. The final tarantula he takes is a gorgeous antilles pinktoe. The colors were just way too eye-catching to him, and her temperament was a plus too. The last animal he grabs isn't even an arachnid though, as he actually finds someone selling venomous animals and is attracted to a black female king cobra. You at first ask if he's crazy, then notice she's blind. Upon asking, Death and you are told she's a rescue and was devenomed. Naturally you explain the term to Death, who is horrified at knowing. He can't forget about her and ultimately buys her. Promising he'll give her a much happier life. Good thing humans these days will take gilt as well as cash. Cus he definitely has that in surplus. Naturally he buys enclosures/food for his new critters and the ones his siblings inevitably buy. He of course also names his little ladies. The GS is named Princess(yes he is serious about the name), the goliath is named Ungoliant, and the pinktoe is dubbed Tanzanite. Meanwhile he calls the cobra Queenie.

Strife - Strife avoids the tarantulas like the plague, and other arachnids to his older brother's amusement. He explains Death and War have pranked him with these animals before. Though Death insists he never used anything living to do it. Didn't want them to be needlessly hurt in the panic after all. Strife does however fall in absolute love with ball pythons and geckos. He ultimately leaves the show with a crested gecko, leechie gecko(which to Death’s shock and annoyance cost near a grand in human US currency), & a banana mimosa ball python. The crestie he calls Nutter Butter(Nutter or Nut for short), the leechie he names Chonker, and the BM ball python he names Glowstick because she looks like a rave glowstick to him with all her bright colors.

Fury - Fury takes interest in an axolotl surprisingly, claiming she finds the empty headed creature to be amusing. In reality it's derpiness is more endearing than funny. She also takes the baby hognose from before, as well as a sand boa for the same reasons as the axolotl. Her naming conventions are not terribly creative but at least carry a common theme, she names the hognose Death after her brother until he begs her to change it to Stinky(She thought referencing Death’s avg stink to the stinks hognoses make while playing dead was hilarious for the record.). The sand boa she simply calls Sandy, and soon takes the name very seriously. The last name she picks for the axolotl is Doofus(a secret reference towards Strife that he somehow misses). She never admits it around others, but she adores her little critters.

War - War is a simple man with simple enjoyments admittedly. He takes interest in the bigger animals. He decides on buying a baby anaconda with the intent to grow it into the biggest one the world has ever seen. He also snags a tegu, since they seem hardy and fun. Plus he did like how the one he got is very dog-like for a monitor lizard. He also gets a leechie like Strife does after the latter convinces him to get one for breeding purposes so they make more like Chonker. War names his critters thusly; Amazon for the anaconda, Dog for the tegu(because he acts like a dog and he couldn’t think of anything else), and his leechie gets called Chonkette after Strife suggested it when War couldn’t think of anything. At first he regretted it, now he finds it suits his 'Big Girl' well. Amazon also gets the nickname of 'Big Mama' after the group discovers eggs in her cage about a month later.

The house has gotten so much fuller, but everyone is happy and caring for their respective pets properly. Including you obviously, who War also promised could have first dibs on Amazon and Chonkette's future babies.

Omg this was great! Surprisingly hilarious for one of my more macabre asks lol. Well worth the wait on this one as always. I can totally see Death using poltergeist activity to give Strife ideas from time to time. To warn him of attacks he doesn't see coming. Or even to outright retaliate against such attempts. Death is still an ever vigilant protecter of his family.

So....say Death's demise happens soon enough in the timeline before or during Fury and Strife's own adventures. And Strife is the one who ultimately finds out between the two. While he's trying to get a handle on his grief and more, say Ava discovers an EMP device thingy. You know what ghost hunters use for ghost communication if you don't have a Spirit Medium on standby. How would both handle this whole thing? Course if Ava wouldn't have met Strife at this time...thusly then if Strife is the one to find the EMP after finding out Death's fate, what does he do?

Pardon me if this is a little disjointed. Been listening to some tracks that inspired this. Sleep Token's Are You Really Ok?(SH trigger warning), a collab song between Loathe & Sleep Token called Is It Really You?, & Yaad by Bloodywood. I have written about the idea of Strife finding out Death is dead before, just wanted to see what others in the fandom think too.

Cue the ghostly quest of trying to bring Death back from the ether while also trying to handle the sibling bickering that still takes place from beyond the grave.

I second this to whomever is doing this. This eeriely similar to a situation a friend was/is dealing with as well.

If these are the same people by pure happenstance....they're sadder than I thought. If that's upsetting to see from someone, welp go ahead. No one will see your nonsense on my stuff. My blog's half dead anyway most of the time, and is tiny follower wise. Not that I don't appreciate everyone following me of course. Just know the numbers be low. Not to mention, a witch like me has far more important things to worry about beyond folks online who are apparently so miserable that any deviation from what they like in the characters they're obsessed with, that they schizocomment everywhere they can on the person they don't like socials. Seriously, I hope you guys have some kind of therapist, I'm genuinely worried for you, if you can believe it.

That said, a witch protects their own when possible. And I'm growing real tired of whatever game is being played here. Even as entertaining as they make themselves look. To everyone in this fandom, listen up. Unless you're causing harm or making incest fics with the Horsemen, you'll more than likely be accepted here. Just behave yourself and be better than those who seek to cause problems or damage to others. That's all we could ever ask for, human decency. Something clearly peeps have forgotten about as of late. I'll end this little rant asking the others in the fandom to watch out for people like this. Some people truly are dedicated to spreading their misery around, even if they don't realize it. Be careful everyone, and watch yourselves. Also watch out for fellow blogs if you can, we shouldn't tolerate this behavior if it gets past a certain point.

To the commenters themselves, one last bit of advice for you, I too was once ignorant to the misery I would spread through my hair trigger temper, and now I live with a regret bigger than anything else. One I won't get into here, as I'd rather not give THAT kind of ammo to the wrong people. I speak only as someone who used to be just like this or similar. Such behavior I try to apologize for or flat out refuse to allow if I can manage it. I suggest to those commenters that you do the same. Self reflect, find some kind of help cus even if you don't think you need it, you do. I should know, not having money for true therapy is no excuse. Just talk to somebody you trust enough, you'll find your answers I pray. I know I found my answers in due time, my only regrets now, are that I hadn't found them sooner. Stop seeking to hurt others because you feel hurt or upset. It will only feed the ouroboros that is the current cycle you're on now. And there's no sense in eating your own tail everytime you know. Pardon the long while I've been away. Life has been interesting lately. Whole fam will be moving in with our Grandmother in a brand new house to keep her company and take care of her. She has Alzheimers, and while she seems better than what I've heard last time anything major happened memory wise, we are still mentally prepping for when things get any worse. At least we have dogs and cats again, haven't since I was young since we couldn't afford to do so. Luckily reptiles can be fairly inexpensive, and tarantulas definitely are.

You know the whole "I CAN'T SLOW DOWN!" "EARL!" meme? If so, who do you think would be who in this situation? Course I could see Death being the one screaming after whoever can't slow down.

100% Strife on this one. And Death is there too. Only he’s watching from the sidelines and waiting for the dust to settle, before goes and peels Strife off whatever surface he crashed into.

Don't sweat it at all, holiday festivities don't always end when Christmas does after all. This was both hilarious and precious.

Poor Eevee baby, though I pity the fools more. They're not gonna get the chance to blast off again by the time Death’s done with em. They made Eevee cry, which better be all they did. A fate worse than his namesake is likely in their future if any harm befell the floof child.

So now I gotta ask, Death and the gang vs a Team Rocket or other major threat? What would they be called? What kind of ambitions, leadership, and evils are in the works? And how would the four go about stopping the threat?

Though I do know they'd likely be in a world of pain if Death’s Eevee ever got the Pikachu treatment of being kidnapped at times. Would never end well for those attempting that. Same goes for any companions of the other Horsemen as well.

And they thought Ghost types were the most dangerous things….

Dawwww he just needs to hold the scaly puppy for a few minutes. Then he'd see just how lovable and fun snakes are lol. The gif is extremely blurry af, but from what little detail I can make out, my best guess is that this snek is a Red Tail Boa Constrictor. Which exactly I cannot say for certain due to the massive blur and fuzziness of the gif. My best guess is maaaaaybe Colombian Red Tail? Again the gif makes it too hard to see the pattern properly. That's what would give it away. Either way Red Tails, no matter where you find em, are arboreal. Meaning they mainly are up in the trees. So when you handle them, it is best to act like a tree and make sure to support them. They love to move and stretch out too.

If it was something like a ball python tho, Strife would fall in love instantly. 100% How can you not fall in love with such precious faces and behavior like balling up when scared? Hell one of our little albino boys is a hugger to the max. Super snuggly and shy. Hope someone buys him and takes him home soon though. He may not be the prettiest or coolest morph out there, but he's go personality for days I think.

Pardon my enthusiasm and passion, I grew up around these critters. Was raised with knowledge of them and adore these animals as a result. Always more than happy to share what knowledge I do have as a result...heheh. Have a scaly baby tax in the form of the little albino boy I mentioned hugging me, in return for reading this lol.

Ha, Strife gonna get it good. Boy better pray now. This was nice after Thanksgiving decided to force my body to do something it should've done the night before(painful bathroom trip) alongside a migraine. Why must my body bully me?

Just cus why not, Ava's reaction to Death without his mask for the first time? Did it need to be removed for a potential injury after Death somehow got incapacitated? Perhaps a situation where Death took it off himself and has forgotten where he placed it before Ava found it. Or did it get knocked off by chance during a fight with something big enough to achieve it like a Stalker swiping his face or something.

Sidenote: The way you draw Death's face behind the mask is just lovely.

Not to mention....Yvetal is BLIND. This just makes the idea of a stare off hilarious to me. Also feel bad for Yvetal at the same time. As in his movie he actually was panicking over his blindness. He could sense powerful pokémon around him at times, but not see them for shit. So he's probably spooked here too, more so than Death is of him. Anyone else just wanna hug and pet this giant blind eagle?

Happy Late Birthday Doodles! Way late to that, my apologies. Nevertheless I have an idea for you that hopefully makes up for it. Death meeting legendaries in Pokémon, since I know you love both series. Never played myself, but I know some things about the games and obviously did watch some of the show and a few movies.

That said, I could see Death meeting Darkrai for sure. Perhaps Mew and Mew-Two as well. The last I can really think of are Giratina and Arceus. If you have other meet up ideas tho I'm all ears as per usual. I only know so many legendaries readily.
