If you’re an adult, do the stuff you couldn’t as a kid.

Like, me and my sister went to a museum, and they had an extra exhibit of butterflies. But it cost £3. So we sighed, walked past, then stopped. We each had £3. We could see the butterflies. And we did it was great. We followed it up with an ice-cream as well because Mum and Dad weren’t there to say no.

I was driving back from a work trip with 2 other people in their early 20s, and we drove past a MacDonalds. One of the others went “Aww man, I’d love a McFlurry.” And the guy driving pulled in to the drive through. It was wild. But it was great.

I went to a park over the weekend and I was thinking “Man, I’d love to hire one of those bikes and cycle round the park.” It took me a few minutes to go “Wait, I can hire one of those bikes!”

I guess what I’m saying is, those impulsive things you wanted to do as a kid - see the dinosaur exhibit, play in the fountains with the other kids, lie in the shade for 2 hours - you can do when you’re an adult. You have to deal with a whole lot of other bull, but at least you can indulge your inner 8 year-old.

Sometimes I sit amongst people in public spaces and listen to the waves of conversations they are having. I hear so many things and can feel it with them. It can be draining but it's beautiful. I think we are all lost at sea, riding out the bad storms and hoping for peace. Babies laughing, friends sharing funny stories, acquaintances sharing condolences. We are all riding different tides. It's a beautiful thing.

Here where I live it continues to snow, with the heat melting most of it at the end of the day. It's towards the end of March! Jack Frost needs to ease up, no more snow I say!

Okay so I may or may not be obsessed with the Welcome Home Reboot AU right now. I made an OC... (the rebooted au belongs to @bloodrediscream )

Here is "Reboot" Jade!

Some info about her:

She wasn't technically on the show. She was originally created as a concept character, but was later scraped. She doesn't resent that though, because that means she gets to help with all the behind the scenes action on the rebooted show! Especially lighting and designing merchandise! She's very introverted, artistic, bubbly, and socially anxious. She is a huge geek too! She loves video games, anime, cartoons, you name it!

So, what about the other characters?

Jade has a HUGE crush on Reboot Wally. Like, big. The rest of the cast knows it, and thinks it's cute, because she won't say anything to him about it. However, the others, specifically Barnaby, Julie, and Poppy thinks she should go for it. Will she?

Most likely no. Aside from her nerves getting in the way, she's recieved backlash for her feelings...especially from Monday. But, the opportunities for Jade and Wally to interact are plentiful, and she really enjoys being his friend.

What are the scars from? The stitching she did herself after she went through some 💥character development💥. I haven't really figured out the reason why she has then yet, but I do know they felt right to add on. She wears a lot of layers to hide them, and when they are visible, she doesn't like it when people bring attention to them.

Overall, she's pretty content with her life. She's had a rocky start to her life, but she's finding her way. She has lots of friends, a crush, a stable job. She feels very lucky that she gets to help make the magic happen for the show and the fans.
