Also i created a headcanon just to make him even more funky and my headcanon is that its very taboo for Halovians to cut their hair in a way that is noticeable, so when he first cut his hair himself everyone was like "ew what why would you do that"

Also he will beat people up who misgender or deadname him, old people and babies included. Hes my lil trash gremlin.

Also he figured out he was trans in like late middle school and then cut his hair in freshman year. But then he was really depressed for a minute because he was being lowkey hate crimed at public school and also his best friend wasnt there but its ok now hes a hapy lil guy

Stop saying fucking "blackwashing."

Whitewashing, the actual fucking term, was born of the stereotype that POC are dirty!! And need to be cleaned by turning their skin lighter or even completely white!! Which is ew ew ew yucky stereotype. White washing is racist and horrid and yucky!

Blackwashing, meanwhile, is being used as a term to describe when people turn certain characters (especially those in media similar to genshin) are redesigned to have a darker complexion or a different race altogether.

ONE OF THESE THINGS IS RACISM. THE OTHER IS NOT.

don't get me wrong, not every single character needs to be redesigned to be specifically black. a lot of characters who are asian, hispanic, etc also get that treatment while they should be left their original race in most cases.

But there are also characters who are turned accurately into their actual race! And you don't see people calling shit asian washing or hispanic washing!!! Blackwashing is a gross term and people who use it need to open a fucking history book or shit!!! Even fucking google!!!

The best example I can think of is darkening Sumeru Characters' skin tones because Sumeru is based off of the Middle East and India. I see people get especially mad with characters like Tighnari and Nahida. Like, babes, it takes a google search. And most if not every edit is fucking beautiful too!! But people complain because "iTs NoT aCcUrAtE tO tHe GaMe" like bitch every character looks the same. They all use the same fucking base. Why do you want every character to look the same.

This has especially caused outcry now that Natlan is out. Because it's based off of MEXICO AND SOUTH AMERICA. AND THEY ARE WHITE. Every single playable character is white, and when people change that to MORE ACCURATELY REPRESENT THE RACE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE, PEOPLE GET MAD. Its the stupidest shit. Anyway, sorry that turned into a rant about Genshin ahgrjd

Anyway, my point stands. Blackwashing is not a positive term, and it's innacurate as well. People need to do a fucking google search and be educated. That's all now, goodnight.
