I’m really happy you’ve enjoyed my work :)!!!!! Tbh, I understand what you mean, unfortunately! In so many Lucifer/ Obey Me works (also other fandoms), it seems like that character can really love and be so affectionate for the fem readers immediately but not for the males/masc/trans/amab, and it always frustrates me! I never understood why they would love genders differently, especially if they were already partners! (Unless the character canonically struggles with accepting their sexuality or has some internal misogyny/homophobia) And after having to go through all that, I’ve always strived to make the characters as canon as possible to loving THEIR partner/crush/whatever relationship is going on with the reader that wasn’t specifically female. Honestly, I really hate it when writers treat the reader's gender as a difference in how a character loves them….but that’s why a loved Obey me so much because Mc doesn’t have any specific gender, so they can literally be ANY GENDER you want them to be! And that’s the reason I fell in love with the game!!!! Knowing I could be a woman, a man, trans, etc, and all the characters would love me the same despite my gender/looks! So I’m really happy you enjoyed my writing like this, where it felt like the characters loved the reader despite being male! I really strive so that non-fem readers can also feel like they’re loved by a character, and gender having nothing to do with it!
