i imagined reader posting a picture of sebastian in their bathtub on an aquarium/fishkeeping forum and titling it ‘rate my aquarium setup’ and i have not been the same since (<- has been giggling periodically for an hour)

posting a photo of sebastian at the dinner table and being like ‘i don’t think my fish isn’t eating as much as he should, any tips from experienced aquarists??’. i’m giggling so bad i just needed to share the mental image with you LMAO

LMAOOOOOOO if i could draw i totally would doodle this but the mental images are indeed hilarious LOL. i can imagine all kinds of confused responses from marine biologists and aquarists dsfgfjdf.

"hmm i think u should release him in the wild and let him fight for survival." "trick him." "what kinda fuckass fish is that." "have u tried having a one on one conversation with ur fish? maybe connecting on an intimate level and discussing proper health would help him eat more." that's just my opinion tho. clearly im an unbiased source. obviously.

personally i would rate the setup as a 6/10, no enrichment given to him in the bathtub = unstimulated fish. toss him a few fidget toys and a book and hes all good! we'll ignore the fact that the bathtub is like 5x too small for him :)

Honestly, I love how these came out; Harper's character has been through some changes behind the scenes as I've been trying out some things with them, and still am, but that's a later topic.
