ANTHRO BUG POLL 2024 SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN

Guidelines for what is considered "anthro" in this poll: -displays intelligent behavior in an environment where the character can communicate with other characters. This allows inclusion of characters like Buddy the jumping spider from Webbed. -must have features (besides wings and antennae) that diverge from the regular human body plan (essentially, no humans with an exoskeletal texture slapped on them). Use the Bog King from Strange Magic as a reference for how far this goes, anything less than his level of variation from being human is considered too human. -if character is from a piece full of bugs, they must be the protagonist(s) acting as a representative for all bugs in that piece of media. CAVEAT:

Ghost from HK is not allowed in the polls this year. They won last year, we all know the HK fandom is a powerful beast to not be trifled with. Let's see some other bugs get the spotlight.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Honestly, any way you feel like it. DM me, reply to this post, add it in the tags, send an ask, however. I'll be compiling everyone's suggestions (and the number of times a character has been suggested) into a google doc. An individual is free to submit multiple characters.

I'm hoping this year's poll will be mostly based on submissions, so if you end up seeing someone missing from this year's poll despite being in last year's, you'll know nobody submitted them.
