I love hypnosis whump. That blank look in their eyes, the drowsy thoughts. Just watching whumpee squirm and fight aimlessly against the control. Why should they, anyways? It’s so nice, it’s so relaxing. They should really just give in already.

🫁 for Phoenix. (Laughs evilly)
"I need to do a cricothyroidotomy," says Aaron, adjusting the IV line. "Eyes on my face, Phoenix, I need to start. Eyes on me, yeah?"
Phoenix looks up into Aaron's face and blinks. His eyes are very brown, eyebrows furrowed. All wavering. They can't breathe, god, they can't breathe, they try automatically and all they can do is choke on blood, oh god, they've already died multiple times they don't want to die again, but they can't–
"Eyes on me. Injection's done, I'm starting to cut, eyes on me, you'll be fine. Squeeze this, stay still, eyes on me."
Phoenix's hand feels blindly until they find... something, squeezing and squeezing and squeezing, trying to ignore the 'not breathing' part of things. But they can't breathe, they can't breathe, there's blood everywhere, it smells metallic and they're choking on it, all they get is blood, they can't breathe oh god they're dying, they're going to die again, it's over and over and it won't stop because they can't get the blood out, they can't–
"Phoenix! I need you to stay calm. I'm here for you, we're going to get you breathing, but you need to calm down. Squeeze the ball, concentrate on me, look at me, Phoenix. You'll be okay. Stay still, try and calm down, I know it's hard but you're going to be okay."
Phoenix tries. They look up at Aaron and just about see him, vision blurred and greying, squeezing less than before. They try to concentrate on staying still, not the blood, not their mouth that hurts so much, it's agonising, not– not–
There's a strange feeling in their windpipe, like something's being pushed inside. It feels weird and wrong and they don't like it.
They can't move. They can't take it out. Their windpipe doesn't hurt so much but everything else does and they can't even move. It's easier to breathe now but god, it hurts. They gasp, trying to gulp in air, that doesn't work, and then it feels weird and tastes kind of metallic but there's air, there's air, oh god there's air. It's much further down than they're used to but they can breathe again, they can do it, there's air and everything's not quite so fuzzy anymore.
Hurts, though. It's okay, they've had worse.
"You've got it Phoenix. You're doing it, you're okay, keep your eyes on me and keep breathing. It's just me here, you're doing well. Focus on me."
Phoenix tries to obey, gripping the sides of the bed for balance, the cold grounding them.
"That's good. You're doing well. The next thing we need to do is splint your broken bones, before they heal wrong and we have to rebreak them. I'll give you morphine through your IV, and another injection of lidocaine, that should help with the pain. I need to wire your jaw, it'll be scary but given your healing factor it shouldn't be for long. Okay? You're getting there, Phoenix, you're doing really well. Focus on me, try to stay calm."
Phoenix tries, they really do. They can breathe now, that's good, it's not breathing through their mouth but it's still air. But as Aaron turns to fetch the wire, Phoenix panics. The only reason they don't thrash is that some part of their brain knows that it would be a bad idea to knock the IV out. Aaron won't be pleased with them and he might punish them, or stop giving them painkillers.
Why is he giving them painkillers again? They don't need them. They don't need them to be gentle, it's weird.
"Try to calm down. It's okay, Phoenix, you're going to be okay. You don't need to look so disbelieving at the painkillers, y'know? Squeeze this as hard as you can. It won't be wired for long. You'll have to eat liquid food, but it's okay, I promise. Let's get this done before you heal wrong."
And Phoenix... they shut down. There's wire and what looks like pliers and Aaron's going to feed them and give them painkillers, and they can't cope. They're terrified and they don't understand, and they just... shut down completely.
The world is fuzzy, their heart pounding, everything seems far away. It's all... wrong.
They'll understand at some point, maybe. But not now. Not when they're not even here.
They don't know where they are. But it's not here.

The scene where Whumpee wakes up in bed after everything he's been through is also one of my favorite scenes. Maybe not in a hospital, but in a small, comfortable, and quiet home for recovery.
Whumpee will wake up to see an unfamiliar ceiling, confused about his location, and not remembering how long he slept (or perhaps was unconscious). Wake up in a comfortable bed with soft pillows and warm blankets. Maybe there is a bolster on the side to keep him from falling. Whumpee's body had been cleaned and his wounds had been treated and he was even dressed in soft pajamas.
His whole body must have felt sore; perhaps his head was heavy, and his mind was blurry. Even though he wanted to get up, Whumpee actually had difficulty moving.
Caretaker will come in not long after and immediately rush to stop Whumpee from waking up. Calm him down and patiently explain the situation that has occurred. Caretaker will say what ultimately happened to Whumper, Whumpee's condition, where he is now, and how long he has been lying there. Whumpee tried to understand, even though he was still confused.
Then, the Caretaker will feed Whumpee broth or soup and help him take medicine. Caretaker will also probably replace Whumpee's pajamas with new ones.
While changing into his pajamas, Whumpee could see that his body was covered in wounds, bandages wrapped around everywhere, bruises, and he could begin to smell the antiseptic smell from his body. Caretaker says don't think about it; Whumpee will be fine and recover soon.
After that, maybe Caretaker will lay Whumpee down again. Accompany him while stroking his head and holding his hand, trying to provide comfort. Whumpee was lulled and went back to sleep peacefully.
(Anything you want to add?)

Prompt #6
Whumpee was kidnapped to be sold to other Whumpers (maybe this is an au where its commonly accepted to own a whumpee, or maybe it's some kind of trafficking thing).
Caretaker is a part of some kind of team/organization that goes undercover to help people in Whumpee's position. But neither Whumper, nor Whumpee know this.
So when Whumper manhandles Whumpee and basically showcases them to a seemingly apathetic, and possibly slightly harsh Caretaker, is whumpee scared that they might be handed off to a worse Whumper? Are they attached to their Whumper and don't want to be sold period? Are they neutral or even happy because nowhere could possibly be worse then here?
Caretaker maybe tries to mingle the price down just because they only brought so much money with them, but regardless, they don't leave until they have Whumpee.
After they arrive at Caretaker's home or the hospital or wherever they're taking Whumpee, how does Whumpee react when Caretaker's personality completely shifts, and they're now sympathetic, worrying and gently tending to Whumpee and their wounds?

PREV ASK ANON HERE
I absolutely adore the idea of them being so completely unaware and dazed that they’re just happy to be there dearly. the only discomfort they’d be aware of is how cold they are in comparison to their temperature controlled tank. whumpee’s emaciated body would not be able to control their own temperature, and also factoring in the minimal clothes they’re wearing, leaves a whumpee with chattering teeth and no sense of what’s wrong.
also the act of caring for a god as a sense of devotion?? I’m kicking my feet and giggling I love it sm. I’d imagine as well in any scenario when whumpee is being manhandled they’re responsive to any stimulus, being that they’ve been deprived of anything but water for months, so any brush of the skin that whumper allowed would be responded to by a startle, groan, twitch, etc which in diff situation w diff whumper’s can yield different reactions. disgust, adoration, a sick sense of satisfaction, etc.
oooooohhgh and the aftermath. chefs kiss.
you’re right so so right ohmygod. whumpee would almost rather have been tortured or physically hurt to be able to say they “survived something” rather than just been completely and totally dehumanized to the point of complete and utter unawareness and shut down of higher cognitive functions. IM EATING IT UPPP.
Anyways,,whumper probably talked to them through the tank like someone would talk to a pet goldfish.
-🪣 anon (cause i dump all my ideas on ppl)
Oh my lord, the imagery. I just can’t help but imagine when Caretaker first finds Whumpee. They expect a cell, chains and bars. Instead, they find Whumpee suspended in a glass tube, body submerged in fluid. Their body limp, hair flowing like a halo around their head. They look like a sleeping god. They look like a trophy. It makes Caretaker sick.
Just… Whumpee is worshiped like a god, but contained like a monster. Contained so totally and then displayed like a prized possession. I know you see the vision.
And you’re so right! Sticking with the ‘worshiper’ Whumper cause we’re both vibing with it, I just imagine Whumper finding deep satisfaction in getting such an unguarded, vulnerable response from their ‘god’ with a simple touch. They’re the only one allowed to touch them. It only helps to strengthen Whumper’s posessiveness, their confidence that they’re the one worthy of protecting Whumpee and harnessing their power.
Also! Also! I really like your point of Whumpee only being aware enough to feel their discomfort. Their awareness has been successfully restricted to their immediate senses, because Whumper has taken control of all their other needs. I love the fact that in that state, Whumpee would seek that simple comfort from anyone, body instinctually leaning into any source of warmth. Is it Caretaker, gripping them with shaking hands, horrified of what was done to them? Is it Whumper, smiling down at Whumpee, gliding a hand through their dripping hair?
Plus, you’re totally onto something with the ‘talking to Whumpee like a goldfish’ thing! Cooing unwanted comforts as Whumpee is dragged under the drug’s effects for the first time. Smiling as Whumpee’s limp body twitches underneath their gentle touch. Giving updates on their work to Whumpee’s peaceful, sleeping form.
Whumpee never responds. They can’t. For as much as Whumper worships Whumpee, they’re not particularly interested in Whumpee’s opinions.
And the recovery!! I feel like it’d be so, so horrible for Whumpee, because it shares one key element with their captivity: helplessness. Even now they’re trapped, confined to a hospital bed with a body too weak for even the most simple of activities. They’re being dotted on again, bombarded by countless pitying looks.
Whumpee wants to brush them away, insist on standing on their own feet, and walk out of the hospital. But their hands shake when they try to bring a glass to their lips, their legs crumble beneath them when they try to stand unaided. Their complaints and frustrations have nothing behind them, and it only earns them more pity.

Amnesia whump:
it takes whumper weeks to "clear whumpee's head." Every day, whumpee loses more and more memories. Slowly, they go from constant defiance to a constant state of confusion.
Once whumper knows they have a blank slate, the next time whumpee wakes up, they're in a beautiful room with whumper lovingly by their bedside.
"You don't remember anything? Oh my poor darling sweetheart, I'll take such good care of you, just like I always have."
Whumpee has no reason to question this stranger;
-Unknowing it's their very brainwasher.

I had to share a blorbo w you cause I know you’d see my vision OKAY. Whumpee. Magic whumpee.Whumpee, a magic user, is captured and kept unconscious for months via strong bliss inducing sedatives, their magic drained periodically. When discovered by a caretaker, they are frail, unconscious, and when they wake up, disoriented. Caretaker grabs them and runs but whumpee is barely conscious and not used to anything other than the temperature controlled room where everything felt hazy and safe, being jostled and put in the cold
I need someone to understand the horror, of A, delirious whumpee not understanding what’s going on, after being awake for the first time in months. B, withdrawals. C. The feeling of helplessness, shame, and weakness that comes from the experience. Plus the human trophy aspect???
Oh my LORD do I see the vision!!!
I really, really like this idea. A gilded cage, a captivity designed to be as inoffensive as possible. It feels almost more dehumanizing than your more typical captivity because it highlights how little whumpee matters outside of their magic. Whumper doesn’t even care enough to see them suffer.
Speaking of Whumper, I feel like they could be really interesting! What are their feelings towards Whumpee. Why this method?
Was it fear? A whumper who’s equally part in awe and terrified of Whumpee’s power. A whumper who sees whumpee like an exotic animal, equal parts awe-inspiring and deadly. So they use the drugs to contain whumpee, leaving them as harmless as a housecat. Defanged, harmless, safe. It’s only then, with whumpee’s body too burdened with drugs to resist, that Whumper dares to touch their prize.
Or maybe it’s out of devotion. They see whumpee as a god, something to be worshiped and coveted, something worthy of the world’s greatest comforts. And what is a greater comfort than freedom of choice? So they bind whumpee with gentle hands, testing them with the utmost care. Tending to their body with revere, keeping their mind in a blissful unconsciousness. They’re harnessing whumpee’s power as they believe their god would wish it, and whumpee doesn’t have to lift a finger.
Or maybe it’s simple efficiency. It’s just easier, logically. Whumper doesn’t care about whumpee besides their magic, and thus they reduce them to nothing but their magic. Whumpee is a battery for them, not a person. It’s simply easier to keep them drugged and compliant.
I really like thinking about the brief moments where Whumpee’s consciousness is able rise to the surface. The brief flashes of clarity between doses. Whumpee’s eyes focusing for a moment, mind only clear enough to have the vaguest notion that something is wrong. Only aware enough for their eyes to meet Whumper’s and question who they are.
It’s never enough. Their limbs are always too heavy to move, their mind too foggy to make sense of their situation. Their captor too vigilant to allow the light in their eyes to linger before snuffing it out again. Whumper’s always ready with another dose, sending bliss into Whumpee’s veins and dragging them back down.
And the rescue! I gotta tell you, I’m always here for whumpee being disoriented and drugged while being rescued. But I feel like we so often default to a confused terror, with Whumpee believing their rescuer means to harm them. I think the total opposite end of the spectrum is really underexplored!
Just! Caretaker finally finds Whumpee after spending so long searching for them. They expected them to be weak, to be hurt and terrified. They were prepared for it, as much as the thought of someone so powerful being brought so low scared them.
They don’t expect to be greeted with a smile. They don’t expect to find Whumpee blissed out of their mind, babbling nonsense with a grin and nothing behind their eyes. Whumpee barely reacts to Caretaker’s presence, gaze passing through them even as Caretaker grips their shoulders. There’s no recognition in Whumpee’s eyes. No recognition of Caretaker, no recognition of their situation. Nothing, and it makes Caretaker sick.
And I just think it’s so creepy! The contrast between the tense situation and whumpee’s response, whumpee’s sheer inability to recognize what’s happening around them. There’s no tearful reunion, no pleading, nothing that would make sense. Caretaker feels like Whumpee is miles away, even as they press Whumpee to their chest.
When it comes to the recovery, one big point sticking in my head is Whumpee’s emotional response to the whole ordeal. We gotta consider that Whumpee is a powerful magic user. They’re used to protecting others, being the one people ask for help. They likely took pride in it on some level, maybe were even a bit cocky at the power they had at their fingertips.
And now that’s just gone. Now they can’t even stand without help, muscles deteriorated after months of inactivity. They can’t go an entire day without a nap, can’t stop their hands from shaking. The magic that once came so easily to them now burns, their power still exhausted weeks after captivity.
They hate it. They hate how easily controlled they’d been. Mind clear for the first time in months, they can’t help but recall their captivity. Recall all the moments that, if only they’d been stronger, they could’ve escaped. Recall that they hadn’t wanted to escape, how they’d felt nothing but lazy, warm contentment. Tamed and leashed and controlled like some pet monster, and having been happy in their captivity. Whumpee can only look back with disgust.
It’s about the wounded pride! It’s about Whumpee experiencing fear for the first time in years, suddenly feeling so weak and vulnerable after being powerful for so long. It’s about the shame whenever they need help, whenever Caretaker looks at them with worry in their eyes.
It’s about the realization that they’re not untouchable. That it could happen again, and they might not be able to save themselves.

Caretaker rescues a brainwashed whumpee, who's been turned into a living weapon. Caretaker does everything to undo the damage whumpers done; including recovering their memories while also keeping them from hurting themselves or others.
But all whumpee sees is a stranger has taken them away from their home, ties them down and promises to "fix them."
-They didn't know they were broken.

whumpee was extremely underweight at the time they were rescued.
weeks pass as they are being nursed back to health by caretaker. they start to gain a lot of weight back, slowly and eventually gaining back all the weight they lost.
caretaker smiles when they see the number on the scale go up, giving whumpee a high-five or a celebratory hug.
because weight gain is NOT A BAD THING.
maybe whumpee gets a bit pudgy. maybe whumpee notices that they have flab where they didn’t before. and they SMILE. they’re getting themselves back. they’re getting their body back because they aren’t being starved anymore.
just an overall positive attitude about weight gain in hurt/comfort whump please. because it is so special to me.

prompt #98
“I was thinking about a takeout for dinner,” the villain sighed, the afterglow of the month-long battle with the supervillain having come to an end. The glow of the sun was so peaceful, the hero’s head nestled comfortably in their lap. “I don’t know, that might not be an option when the city’s been destroyed.”
They laugh dryly to themselves, fingers gently carding through the hero’s hair, not saying anything. The hero needed to rest - this has taken a toll on the both of them.
“What about something easy?” The villain smiles, their eyes meeting the hero’s sleeping, calm face, tenderly stroking their cheek. “You can pick. Come on, what do you want?”
They give their shoulder a gentle shake. “Hero?”
No response. The villain’s smile falters, and they give them another shake. “Hero.”
Their heart sinks to their stomach.
“Hero?”

Do NOT interact if you are under 18.
1. “You’re not in position. Do I need to invite some friends over to hold you down?”
2. “See, this is why all that ‘therapy’ you got was useless. You know your place. Right here, between my legs.”
3. “Caretaker? Your turn. Fuck it hard. And don’t think I haven’t seen you two go at it before. We both know exactly what it can handle. Fucking freak.”
4. “You do. You love me. And I’ll make you realize that if I have to. I don’t wanna hurt you, baby…don’t make me have to teach you what you are again.”
5. “Oh, the door’s locked, by the way. And besides, the only person who’s on the other side of that door wants to fuck you even more than I do.”
6. “Keep quiet, and I’ll leave your little friend there alone. I know you’re not a virgin, but they are, right? How horrible would it be for me to be their first time?”
7. “My assignment was to make you suffer…and it seems like you’re not suffering. So let’s try something else. Undress for me.”
8. “One more. One more fuck, and Caretaker goes free, mkay? I won’t even make them watch this time.”
9. “God, you’re desperate…you want me that bad, huh? Let me make you bleed a little before I reward you, then.”
10. “You’re right. I am horrible. I’m just as sick, disgusting, and evil as you say I am. And I love it.”
