The Sims 4 Dark Mode 🌃 - Chalk'd UI [27 February 2025]

Hey all 👋 happy to share this TS4's UI overhaul project that I've been working on for the past month or so, just in time before the end of the year! I'd also like to thank you for following along the WIP posts of this project 😊 Enjoy! :]

General Info

Mod Gallery | Changelogs (see on patreon post comment) Current version: updated for Businesses & Hobbies Patch ✅ Latest mod update: 27 February 2025 PC/Mac: 1.113.277.xxxx Older game versions will not work with this mod.

All major UIs have been properly recolored ^^ From now on, mod updates will focus solely on recoloring new UI elements and updating altered files on future game patches.

Some texts & UI elements will revert to blue due to mod conflict reasons, only if you remove the conflicting files.

Preview what the mod does in the linked mod gallery. Each image will display the associated package file that it's responsible for.

To install:

// Main mod

Before installing/updating, remove any old versions of Chalk'd UI whenever there's a new mod update and clear your caches.

Download & extract the Chalk'd UI zip file within your Mods folder.

Install the latest UI Cheats Extension mod and make sure it loads after the Chalk'd UI mod (if not, a lot of texts will remain blue). Current version needed: v1.47

Read the README file located in 00_Additional Files folder and remove files if you use any conflicting mods. You can go to the Known Conflicts section to see which mods are affected.

Main Menu Override - now separated from the main mod.

Loading screen: download only one loading screen file found in the SFS folder.

Opening screen: file to replace the intro TS4 screen. Choose the file that pertains to your game language.

Phone icon addons for other mods: pick & choose depending on which mod you use.

EA Notif: optional file if you prefer to keep the notification in its original color scheme.

Fully compatible w/ UI Cheats Extension v1.47. To avoid any issues, keep the original mod in your mods folder (both .package and .ts4script) and have it load after the Chalk'd UI mod.

Stand Still in CAS v 1.0 by Blackpanda

Mod features:

all ages;

all life states (except pets);

unique poses for every life stage (infant, toddler, child, teen-adult (male and female frames) and for elderly sims).

Download: Stand Still in CAS v 1.0 (SFS, adfree)

Installation: Place the file in the Mods folder. Note that this is a mod that overrides game animations, so there can only be one such mod in the folder.
