The United States is not “liberal,” it’s a fascist country
Like I already said, to call something “liberal” doesn’t mean you’re calling it good. Liberalism is a system of governance and political ideology based on individual legal rights and rule of law, nor even necessarily on universal equality before the law for everyone but for full citizens or rights-holders yes. The United States might not really be a democracy anymore, even if it was a white bourgeois democracy from the outset, but it is a liberal republic.
Fascism is not a synonym for “bad” or “force,” it’s referring to a political movement which critiques the hypocrisies of rule of law and the fiction of legal individuals and calls for an organic social order based on the solidarity of a nation and/or race with law being subordinated to that organic solidarity rather than being considered the state in itself. The United States has elements of this, but so does every post-WWII liberal country, and this does not make for a fascist country automatically. Force is inherent to every class society, conflating it with fascism makes the term entirely pointless. Then we have to say even medieval monarchies are fascist, which is just stupid.
I think this kind of rhetoric like yours among Marxists is motivated by a very crude and economist of understanding of the world where you think only the “base” matters, and the “superstructure” is just an illusion or trick laid over a basically forceful and evil base which is always the same. For one, the differences in the arrangement of force and exploitation do matter, and for another, the “superstructure” is not just a trick even if it tends to be hypocritical. The differences in the ways that a society is arranged and managed do matter, even if it remains the same basic society throughout the arrangements. This should be obvious to a socialist.
This is why we need a political strategy instead of just defaulting to a morally puritanical absolute condemnation of the world where we think a spontaneously mature revolt will spring up at any time now that the evil has gone beyond our moral boundaries. It does matter for revolutionary strategy whether you’re under liberal governance or fascist governance, even if we aren’t allies of either. It’s the terrain you’re fighting on, and yes, some terrain is preferable to others, and some strategies are more fitting to some terrains than others. That’s the point of making distinctions in the way even a society we oppose is arranged. Otherwise we end up impotently attempting to refuse it immediately and absolutely, and just become obsessed with constantly proving how separated we are from it instead of actually fighting on the terrain
