i used to dislike glitter or shine on wedding cakes & whatnot. looks like it tastes like spray paint. unappetizing & inedible.
a lot of cakework is inedible or borderline inedible, however they don’t quite break suspension of disbelief like these unnatural textures do.
but it’s another case of me looking at something until it grows on me. who cares
i especially like this cake from 2007. looks like silk fabric on the bottom.
