i don't have tiktok so i can only link the repost on twt but the angle from above of the ziyech red card situation makes things so much more frustrating.. by and large he was one of the least aggressive people in the entire situation and barely caught emerson on the face despite being shoved a few feet forward by him (and by two other players previously). obv the primary factor was whether he caught emerson in the face on purpose but it's still alarming people were jumping to condemn ziyech despite how restrained he was for most of the situation and even more upsetting is how hardly any chelsea players really came to his defense and at most only tried to "diffuse" the situation rather than stick up for him. i know chilwell and sterling argued with the ref before the red card was rescinded but it's disheartening how affectionate ziyech is with other players on the team constantly and that not being backed up on the pitch at large. i'm not sure if it's a matter of them not caring for ziyech specifically or if it's more a consequence of the whole team being so disoriented that they can't even come to their teammates' defense anymore but for whatever the ruling ended up being ziyech didn't deserve any of that and chelsea should have done way more to fight the initial card

I don't really have a thing against Potter at this point he seems in jail too, but he was asked about the red card incident and he just said: "I have no idea honestly" ??? oh boy how you don't have any idea. You are the manager you could say he didn't deserve a red card for that while spurs players started it and pushed him and he didn't even go anywhere near the face intentionally. Like how can reply with "I have no idea"
