What if the Cambrian period didn’t ended

What would the world look like if the Cambrian period didn’t end? what if it continue to this very day ? With the animals continual evolving? would there be trilobites the size of Manta rays?

would the environment still change? Would intelligent life ever exist? what would the world look like now if that was the case?

Are kobolds in DND synapsids?

This is a question I’m really struggling with it’s keeping me up at night and I really ,really want to put it to rest.

for those of the uninitiated of the world of Dungeons & Dragons a.k.a. DND ,the Kobolds look like this:

and I want to know if they’re supposed to be a reptile or synapsids.

And as for those who don’t know Anything about prehistoric animals synapsids are a fossil reptile of a Permian and Triassic group, the members of which show increasingly mammalian characteristics and include the ancestors mammals.
