hiii!! I hope it’s okay to ask, but how did you make the TV head look so awesome?! i’ve been wanting to make my own cosplay and ive been collecting inspo….

would you mind sharing your process, or the materials? I’m especially curious on the material used to make the back of the CRT… it looks so smooth…? is there a specific paint you used? did you use tape or just glue?

Oh help! Sorry guys! I received so SO many messages and only saw a few just NOW. AAAA.

So! I will try to explain and answer your questions!

1. First of all, I just wanted to thank everyone so much for all the love! I'm really happy people liked this Tenna Cosplay I did! Even because is literally the first time I do something like this (the TV head) 💦 So I'm really happy with the results!

WELL. Like I said, this is the first time I do this...So about the material I use on the Screen...I STILL HAVE NO IDEA THE NAME OF THAT--- I just found it on a Fabric's Store here in Brazil and thought "Oh! This looks perfect for my cosplay!" So yeah...But there's lots of Fabric's Stores with that, so noticed is a very common material! I think you guys can find it too! The color was Beige btw, I painted with white spray and It worked! I tried painting with normal paintings at first but didn't worked well!

You can see perfectly through it btw! You also can breathe YAY!

2. For the HEAD...I did the drawing on a cardboard to see how I wanted it to look first! I really wanted it to look like something cartoony...well,or something like that hehe. I looked lots of Original Sprites of Tenna to make it...which at first was crazy to me since some of the heads are crazy 🤣 but looking closely at the references he's halfway, I felt that would be the best option (and more easy too 😂) So after making it in a cardboard, I transferred to the EVA foam!

3. Well, as you guys can see, the noise and spheres of the antennas I made with polystyrene. The antennas cable was with a strong wire! The. I covered everything with air dry clay! Is the part It most gave me work, believe me 💥💥💥

AAAAAAND for the mouth changing, well you can use Velcro or Magnets! What suits you better for the expressions! I also drew by myself the expressions too! Also the painting!! I use PVA and Acrylic paint for it!

(About the clothing...I just bought like a "Steal his look" 😂)
