As of July 16th, 2018, Zen the Hollywood has officially disbanded.

From now on, the members will go their separate ways, and even if they don’t stay in the entertainment industry, it’d be really nice if you could support them in their future ventures. For example, Yuma just announced that he’s cast in an upcoming stage play, so please check it out if you’re interested!

Of course, even if they aren’t together on stage anymore, we can always enjoy their songs and live performances! So this is not really the end.

To everyone following this blog, thank you very much for supporting and appreciating ZenHari. I’ve been thinking for the last months what should I say in this post, and even now, I still have no idea if there’s anything meaningful I could say. So I’ve just decided to thank you all, and also, I wish that you always have something in your life that makes you as happy as ZenHari does to me.

It makes me so sad to know that ZenHari will be disbanding in a few months… I know I haven’t been keeping up with them for a long time but after watching a few videos earlier this morning I remembered why I was so into them.

I wish I could’ve seen them once, too, but I’m too busy keeping up with college and personal life. I want to let Yuma know that I’m such a big fan of his. I try to keep up with his work in R no Housoku and in ZenHari, but there’s only so much I can do since I live overseas. I’d write him a fan letter but I can’t speak Japanese so he wouldn’t understand…

Max is one of the veteran fans of the ZenHari/ShoHari fan group. She’s stayed with them the longest and keeps up with them the most. I plan to make a post about it soon, but it’s been decided that ZenHari will be disbanding on July 16th. She wants to go and see them all one more time before it’s too late. Her story on her GoFundMe is so sweet and touching; I’d really like to let her see Ouji and the rest of the ZenHari members again. If you could all be so kind and donate to her, I (and Max as well) would be so grateful and happy to see it. I’ll be donating a few dollars to her in a few hours (I’m laying in bed and it’s about 6:30 in the morning)!

Today, Tora-chan announced that he is graduating from ZEN THE HOLLYWOOD in order to focus on his acting career. His schedule, as many fans have noted, has been constantly conflicting with idol activities. While there isn’t a date annonced yet, his last live is scheduled to take place during summer, later this year.

Hello! I just wanna ask did Tora-chan graduated zenhari since i dont find him in any recent zenhari videos, or is he really busy?? My fav zenhari members are tora-chan and kairin, kairin already left i dont want anothere one to leave😭

Don’t worry, he’s just really busy! Besides filming the Yowamushi Pedal dorama season 2, he‘s also acting in the Daiya no Ace stage play. It’s noteworthy that he plays important roles in both of the productions, so of course he had to take some time off from ZenHari activities. But he’s not gone for real!

YOU GUYS THIS IS PRETTY IMPORTANT

So, if you aren’t aware, ZenHari is coming out with a new single, Dakishimete Circus. Their goal for this single is to sell 2,000 copies. AND if they complete this goal, they will have their first photo book that will be shot in Hawaii! 

They all are very excited about this and I would love to see them surpass this goal and get their photo book released! If you can, you should buy a copy of Dakishimete Circus.

Hello! I love your page! I discovered ZenHari randomly on the YouTube and fell in love with the group! They shine so lovely on the stage! But... I also saw there's an anime made from them? I'm a bit confused and wanted to know more info on the two groups ZenHari and ShoHari. Sorry if this had been asked before or if I'm offending someone. I kinda new to them so I wanted to know more info. Thanks so much for your time!

Hello! Thanks for asking! So Zenhari is actually an idol project that was made from the ShoHari franchise. It’s like TsukiPro being created from Tsukiuta if you know what that is. Long story short, ZenHari was made because the Shohari franchise was becoming popular.

ZenHari started out singing and dancing the same songs as in the ShoHari anime (Eien Never Ever, Akai Cracker ~Let’s Party~, Air Boys to name a few), but they also have a few of their own songs (Virgin Magic, Hot Lover, Zenkai Play). Though I don’t remember the source, I’ve heard that ZenHari was also used as reference models for the dances in the anime.

Hi! How did you know that Ouji is half filipino? :) I am a fangirl from the Philippines so I really want to know! Thanks! :3 btw, I love this blog T.T

He mentioned it once in the 6th episode of the Shohari Nezumi Kara Jouhou Kyoku! I can’t find the video anywhere anymore, though...

 Plus, he likes to sprinkle Filipino here and there. He ends all of his blog posts with “Paalam” and told Inoue “Gusto kita” at his last concert with ZenHari. I think he’s also said “Mahal kita” somewhere before since Shige was confused when Ouji said “Gusto kita”!

I just recently known zenhari because of kairi and so i followed other zenhari members account on twitter , but i don't see kairi with them anymore , is kairi isn't part of the group anymore ?, or he's just really busy with haisute ? and have they already disbanded ;____;

Kairi left the group earlier this year, actually. He graduated on February 28 and is now focusing on his career as an actor. As for the rest of ZenHari, they’re still active and steady!

Update on Inoue Yuki

So, out of curiosity, I looked up Inoue Yuki since I haven’t heard his name in a while. 

I’m so happy, he has a few roles under his sleeve! If you’re curious, he’ll have a main role in the upcoming anime adaption of Tenshi no 3P!

He also was a background voice in UtaPri Legend Stars (a staff member) and Tsukiuta (a director). I know he’s not in ZenHari anymore, but hearing that he’s getting roles makes me happy and I needed to tell someone!

ZenHari isn’t disbanding just yet!! They left Star Child Records on July 10th, however plan to move to a new label together! The record is called Hollywood Factory and they hope to be able to release a new song as soon as they can.

They also apologize for making us worry for the last few weeks! :) I hope we can all follow them into their new label and continue to support them.
