Do you think Lux/Ring a Ding would appreciate if anon lays on his chest, hearing his heartbeat? I’d think with the headcanon of being touch starved, he’d fall instantly asleep as anon breathes in and out :3

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS HC!! The God of Light needs other ways to get heat and having his s/o in his warm arms just listening to his heart beating is one of them… I just don't guarantee he can sleep that easily.

new Doctor Who magazine secured, and it is an absolute treasure trove of information for Mr. Ring-A-Ding's development and the animation behind it!! 🥰 here's some new tidbits we now know: 🎥 Russell has a fascination with how old Fleischer characters often look like a blend of creatures (pigs, bugs, etc.) and so wrote that into the script first for Mr. Ring-A-Ding's design: then the studio Framestore worked around his mad description 👀 🎥 the reason why Mr. Ring-A-Ding takes off his hat to the Doctor and calls "Yoohoo!" to Belinda is a neat animation trick, because Ncuti and Varada's eyelines had drifted while working without the acrylic stand 😂 🎥 they did explore the idea of the "real" Mr. Ring-A-Ding being an actor in makeup, but decided it would be impossible to replicate with a costume/makeup/etc. so technically, we nearly did get Alan Cumming (or another actor) in Mr. Ring-A-Ding makeup 😳 absolutely fascinating!! and the final line of the last page regarding Sunshine Sally feels very ominous...it may lend credence to a theory i've seen floating around the Doctor Who subreddit. but we'll have to wait and see...🙈 (oh yes!! this magazine puts Mr. Ring-A-Ding for most of that episode at 2 and a half foot tall 🥺)
