There’s a misunderstanding about enlightenment - that it’s once and for all and then there’s always peace and the mind never wanders!
Progress in spiritual practice is not a straight linear path to happily ever! That’s why it’s called PRACTICE - the road to Wisdom is full of twists and turns and ups and downs.
Trust me, there’s no doubt - all those experiences are actually where the Wisdom comes from!

The inner development process, which leads to the realization of this fourth stage, Jung called the individuation process.
It involves the development of what is known as a mature personality, “a well-rounded psychic whole that is capable of resistance and abounding in energy,” which is capable of choosing its own path and self-reliantly remains true to its own inner law.
Especially in times of collective neurosis, the existence of such mature people is of crucial importance.
Also in this stage, according to Jung, only dreams can point the way, for this development follows a purely inner bent or is determined by destiny.
Dreams that are an index of the individuation process have, as we shall see, a strange religious or mythological character, for after all it is really religions that have served humanity in the discovery of inner meaning from time immemorial.
Today, however, there are all too many people for whom the existing religions are no longer capable of providing any meaning and who are also not satisfied by the purely extraverted worldview of contemporary science or by the intellectual word games of modern philosophers.
It is at moments like these that many people are called by an inner voice and find themselves compelled to set forth on an inner quest. -Marie-Louise von Franz, Archetypal Dimensions of the Psyche, Page 200

People often silence themselves, or "agree to disagree" without fully exploring the actual nature of the disagreement, for the sake of protecting a relationship and maintaining connection.
But when we avoid certain conversations, and never fully learn how the other person feels about all of the issues, we sometimes end up making assumptions that not only perpetuate but deepen misunderstandings, and that can generate resentment.
Brené Brown, Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone

The mystery of the Flannan Isles Lighthouse is one of the most enduring maritime mysteries in history. Located on the isolated Flannan Isles off the coast of Scotland, the lighthouse was manned by three keepers: James Ducat, Thomas Marshall, and Donald MacArthur. In December 1900, they all disappeared without a trace.
The story began when a relief vessel arrived on December 26 to replace the crew and bring supplies, but there was no sign of life. The lighthouse was eerily silent, the lamps unlit, and a meal left uneaten on the table. The logbook, which had last been updated on December 15, described fierce storms, but according to weather reports, there had been no such storms in the area. The final entry stated, "Sea calm. God is over all."
A search of the island revealed no clues other than a few disturbed ropes and damage to a landing platform. Some speculated that a giant wave had swept the men into the sea, but this explanation did not account for all the odd details, such as the missing oilskins of only two of the men, while the third remained without protective clothing, suggesting he may have rushed outside in a panic.
The disappearances of the lighthouse keepers remain unsolved to this day, inspiring theories ranging from murder to paranormal activity.
