Påskekrim, directly translated into Easter crime, is the Norwegian phenomenon where people will consume crime stories for Easter. Crime books and shows will be released especially for Easter, all hoping to become The Påskekrim of the year, and even the milk cartons will have a detective comic in them for the holiday. In honor of Easter, I wanted to showcase a collection of crime/mystery/detective fics so that you can partake in this Norwegian tradition with me. Happy reading everyone!

The assignment seems simple at the beginning, but soon enough Harry's twisted in a web of his own making, and can't get out anymore.

OR Louis is an out-of-work ranch hand in need of fast cash and Harry is a captured bandit bound for a train that will send him to death-row. When Louis takes on the job of getting Harry on that train, he's got no idea how much his patience and everything he thinks he knows about the world is going to be tested.
